@@WildcatttttOMG yes. They have a counter in the ride station and they routinely max it out at I believe 3 min. I have no idea how it’s so bad because Raging Bull has like a 30 s dispatch time and they make sure you know it. i still cant get over how good voltron is. i really wasn't expecting it to be a highlight of my europe trip, but it aboslutely blew me away and has only been topped by ride to happiness. Layout wise though, im convinced its the best in the world
Great video. I've been on Gold Rush and on the second ride programme the train is not falling by gravity back down the lift hill. It is instead being launched by the tires back down the lift hill which feels amazing.
@@TheCowboyOfEpicit's one of the best family coasters in the UK and is really nicely themed. They've changed the sequence availability so that they run sequence 1 in the mornings and sequence 2 in the afternoons. That's a great decision as it means that you can always get in both sequences during you trip.
I’m excited to get on Phoenix Rising! Our trip to BGT got delayed because th hurricane but I’m perfectly fine with that, because now, it’s closed at 10:00PM, instead of 5:00pm, so 5 extra hours. 5 extra hours to lap Gwazi!
Great video! Voltron looks really good! Hyperia looks good too! Even Bobcat looks fun! I really enjoyed watching this! Im looking forward to the next video!
I think the way pacing is represented is kinda dumb. Look at Mahuka, despite its limited speed and height it’s a little powerhouse that throws great elements one after the other without stopping. Then take something like Millie, which has actually less elements and sometimes does nothing, but somehow will have better pacing… I think the number of elements should be taken into account in the equation.
As a European I appreciate you put in the numbers by the metric system because not used to imperial they don’t say anything to us, can’t imagine how high or fast something feels. So thanks for that. But I think their is a mistake with the penguin track one it says 16,6 kmH and it should be 69,2 kmh. 16.6 kmh would be like 10 mph, that would be the slowest coaster ever😂.
Thudervolt is the only coaster I rode this season, as well as Coaster (which sucks now) and Bug whirled which was never good. So if you think you have it bad: behold MY bad year for coasters. Voltron wins, as it should. TT2 was only open 6 days.
I was able to get on TT2, Phoenix Rising and The Loch Ness Monster refurb( if you want count that.) Penguin Trek was down the day I was at SeaWorld Orlando which was a bummer.
Penguin trek could be a good coaster if the profiling gets fixed. Phoenix is great but capacity sucks. Why they didn't make it a little longer with an additional block zone so a 2 train could run is a mystery.
Totally off-topic comment, but does anyone recall the name of the (best?) burger joint at SFMM circa 1998-early 00s? I believe it was located by Flashback (because I rode it right after that meal - strong stomach!) and may have been a staple for Magic Mt for decades... Im sure there were many burger options even then, but this was the standout. Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome channel!! And yes, 🎉🎉 Dodgers!!! (Large budgets should NOT "buy" 27 Series pennants!!)
I remember seeing that place the first time I went to Magic Mountain in 06. Cool looking place from the outside, and great name for a themed park restaurant. I didn't eat there because I'm not a big burger person, especially overpriced burgers from chain amusement parks.
Gold Rush was a fantastic family coaster. Just to point out, they change which cycle they run at 14:00 every day, so its predictable and you can get both if you want. Its not random.
I feel like Pacing may not actually represent pacing well, because high speed rides have an advantage over low speed rides. So what if you tried MPH/Pacing? Anything over 1 would probably be really good If really slow or really fast coasters are disadvantaged with mph/pacing, the formula could be squared or something to make it be graded on a parabola
@@AirtimeThrills Oh damn, that's just shitty. Well, hope you can upload soon! Offseason is back on and all and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Dodgers' run.

Really enjoy these By the numbers videos.
My favorite new coaster of the year was Good Gravy because it's the only one I made it to ride 🤣
Mine was Iron Menace, since that and Snoopy's Soap Box Racers were the only new-for-2024 coasters I got on
The big bad wolf coaster will be crazy and penguin trek is extremely underrated and popular among GP
I’ve got a new number one this year, yes Hyperia is short but it certainly packs a punch.
Love that Penguin trek goes 43mph but only 16.6kph 😂
Voltron is actually 100kmh. It was 90 before but they changed that quite a while ago to 100 you probably had an outdated source there.
