    Jack misread the map at 6:29, the darker the colour the MORE people are getting LESS than 7 hours of sleep per day. I'd assume this is because the east has more cities and hence more 9-5 style office jobs compared to the more agricultural jobs out west.

    I am from Coruña and yes, the city is really small. You can walk from one side to another in 20-30 minutes. It's like a tiny peninsula that was widen to fit more people. And we have the oldest lighthouse, still functional, in the world. Hercules tower.
    Coruña (province) is were Santiago's cathedral is, where everyone walks to.

    Sweden and Finland get more sunlight due to the specific heat capacity of land compared to water. Long story short, continental air masses tend to descend in winter, giving clear skies, whereas maritime climates are warmer and cloudier.
    Edit: due to their proximity to Asia/Russia. This is why easterly winds in the winter often bring the coldest weather to the Uk.

    • @christopherx7428
      @christopherx7428 12 днів тому

      True and to add to that they are in a bit of a rain shadow from Norway. The west coast of Norway get a lot of rain so not as much falls on the other side of the mountain range. In the winter, the skies can be completely clear and northern Sweden and Finland would still have no sunshine... 🙂

    - Sao Tome and Principe also has official Google street view coverage as of today, which is also not marked on the map.
    - Lebanon also got official Google street view coverage recently, but it also isn’t marked on the map.

    Not being a democracy doesnt mean you are a dictatorship. There are many forms of governance. Democracy is one of them and a dictatorship is one of them. However, there are things like monarchies, oligarchies, etc.

      That's an opinion, a biased one if you want mine
      The same old process of putting the responsibility of all the misery upon a minority, even more effective when the minority is a different ethnicity or religion
      Makes people vote for antidemocratic parties, without even realising they are giving up their rights because they're too focused on making other pay
      Always the same strategy, always has been, open a history book please

      @@yan7911 Not being democratic does not mean not having rights for its citizens, Napoleon's France was not democratic but a lot of rights were established there, the Empire of Brazil was also a hereditary system with an Emperor but it was also a very liberal nation for the time, if a If a leader wants to give rights to his citizens, he will, whether he is autocratic or not. Not to mention that in democracy, a leader is a reflection of the people, if the people do not want rights for minorities, they will elect a leader who will not give them rights.

      @@MilMI-24 fundamental rights like freedom of speech, movement, manifesting and access to education and non censored information are tied to democracies and shamefully not always respected in occidental "democracies"
      Those are systematically thrown out by autocrats because they allow people to comprehend their condition and express their claims to freedom

      @@yan7911 In the Empire of Brazil, mainly under the command of Dom Pedro II, there was total freedom of the press and equality before the law in accordance with the constitution (Unfortunately for a while there was still slavery since because of how the colonization policy was during the colonial period, the economy was still very dependent on slave labor and from the elite to average Brazilians, they did not support abolition much, even with the emperor completely disagreeing with slavery and calling it a "National Shame", so much so that he and the royal family never had slaves, they all received wages and good working conditions, which meant that the Empire only abolished it in 1888, shortly before the end of the monarchy)
