If you want a really good looking finished job you need the little 3/4" to 1" river rock that has been screened and washed and the river gravel that has different multi colors in it looks the best, white, grays and tans and browns or whites with stripes of different colors and some will even have reds or blacks or one time I saw some with some greens in it . A masterclass from start to driveshaft. That’s some weight to balance and lift; especially so that the drum can rotate and prevent set-off! A great piece of teamwork.
Recovered one where engine shut down after flipping on side. Loaded..concrete hardened sideways. Flippin was no biggie but towing it with load on one side was a adventure. Good one amigo...

As soon as you said... "Ron Pratt's is an Excellent channel"... Immediately I clicked on your "Subscribe" button! Anyone in the business who makes such a wonderful statement is a Friend of mine...too.
You all work very well together with so much respect, and are courteous...these qualities will have me back again watching more of your videos. Hey, guys...WONDERFUL job on the concrete Mixer job, ^5!
I am a senior citizen lady (hocked on recovery wrecker videos)--Joe's red hair, it could be purple for all I care, he won my heart with his "Yes, Sir" respect! A very diverse working crew. Love it!
Thank you for getting into the posting work videos as well as doing your Sumter Wrecker jobs.
Ms Chris I really appreciate those kind words. Thanks for subscribing and commenting. Stay safe
Amazing how you all knew mixer drum was loose of truck WOW
Mr Jose thanks for watching our videos and stay safe.
Excellent work, a real pro. Drove mixer for 40 years , just retired 2 years ago. Thank my lucky stars I was never in a predicament like this driver. Been in some harry situations but ya got to have the light on at all times. Never get complacent , shit can happen so darn fast. Not all my friends have made it home. Ive seen the worst , sad to say not all my teammates made it home. RIP. Easy to identify a real pro when you witness one like here. Can't emphasize enough what pleasure to see you communicate and get er done. Thanks for sharing. In fact I'll share this with my son in law who I got a job at the same Ready Mix company I worked at. He's now a manager there and does many safety meetings.
Mr Mike Thanks for sharing that and sorry about your friends. Thanks for watching and stay safe
That was one heck of a recovery, be careful and safe. Have a great weekend.
Mr Brian thanks for watching our videos and commenting. Stay safe
This was a great video and you all did a great job and did not damage the truck anymore . Those concrete trucks are heavy and you have to watch about getting to close to the edge and sides of a roadway breaking off . I will be looking forward to another video, so you all be careful and stay safe .
As always, Jeffrey !!!
Mr Jeffrey We appreciate that. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
wow, that cement truck found himself a mighty big hole. i didn't know about the sugar i probably would have wanted to dump the concrete out right there and had to come back to clean it up.
Mr Ezra we appreciate you watching our videos and commenting. Stay safe out there.
A masterclass from start to driveshaft.
That’s some weight to balance and lift; especially so that the drum can rotate and prevent set-off! A great piece of teamwork.
Mr Fin We really appreciate that. Thanks for watching our videos and stay safe
Y’all did a great job. Great video. Be safe.
Mr Larry thanks for watching and stay safe
Recovered one where engine shut down after flipping on side. Loaded..concrete hardened sideways. Flippin was no biggie but towing it with load on one side was a adventure. Good one amigo...
Mr Kyle Yes sir I bet it was. Thanks for watching and commenting. Stay safe
Great recovery. Excellent team work.
Thanks for sharing.
Mr Carl thanks for watching and commenting. Stay safe
When they came to deliver LP to my home in the country they would not back onto my concrete driveway to fill my tank. Actually ended up using the gravel pad I created for parking my RV. Nice they had concern for my driveway with a heavy truck. Smart driver/owner.
Mr Galen Yes sir those trucks will break thru 4 inch concrete easy. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Totally Awesome! Hal, you were born to do this and how blessed your employees are to be able to learn from you. Don't know if you had a father in the trade or your self thought, but you definitely have the ability to figure it out. It's you job, but you and your team sure saved that mixer company a lot of money because of your experience. Well done you Guys!!! God Bless!!!
Mr Rod My father was not but I grew up on a farm. He taught me how to work for sure and I am grateful for that. Thanks for watching and stay safe

Your right about channels. You and Ron Pratt have the most family friendly channels and have great life advice along with good tow rigging. You guys seem to do a lot with mixers and ag equipt. Which is different than many others. Great channel.

@@rjkeenan8955 Mr RJ Thanks and stay safe
good job gentlemen, this reminds me of a time in Spartanburg, SC (Same concrete company) at a business next door to mine when a concrete truck driver drove off the paved driveway onto the grass behind the business and found the septic tank, the tank lid collapsed and flipped the truck on it's side like this, the truck was full of concrete. really crappy day for the driver
Mr Roy Thanks for watching up in Spartanburg. I bet that was a bad day for the driver. Stay safe
Good job as usual just one thing, the boss should have safety glasses on when working underneath a dirty truck removing a driveshaft. God Bless and stay safe out there!
Mr John thanks for watching and stay safe
Lot of hard work. You did great playing it safe every place. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice recovery by you and your team Mr Hal. I enjoy all your videos but really like seeing the concrete trucks since that’s what I do for a living here in central Missouri. Stay safe and have a great weekend.
Mr Jimmy We appreciate you watching our channel and thank you for commenting. Stay safe.
Mr Wilbert was putting that man strength on those driveline bolts. Great recovery! Also something that helped our company was color coding the chains and tools for each unit all it takes is a splash of spray paint and everyone knows which chain and tool goes back on each truck.
Mr Troy That is good tip. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Not much time to waste there best to do it on 1st try impressing.Thank you .Stay safe.
Mr Mauritz thanks we appreciate that and stay safe
