I love PieGuy's optimistic attitude with reviews. While Nostalgia Critic, I Hate Everything, YourMovieSucks and Mr. Enter are all funny and good reviewers at the moment, their character in their reviews are pretty negative and it gets tiresome sometimes when they seem too serious or something. PieGuy isn't too focused on his humor but he's honest about what he watches and he has a more open mind. It's great!
+INTERNALLY SCREAMING I really agree with you on that, PIEGUYRULZ has a much more happy and charming feeling to his videos, while I do especially like IHE, Your Movie Sucks, Nostalgia Critic, etc. I can get really bored and depressed after watching a few of their videos, just because of how depressing and hopeless they can seem. Though, Mr Enter and Nostalgia Critic don't really make me feel that way.
INTERNALLY SCREAMING I think of Pieguyrulz as the good cop, while Mr. Enter as the bad cop. Also, Mr. Enter has become much better since then. In hindsight, his older videos were very flawed.
Season 8 is the ultimate mixed bag. Some of the best post-movie episodes (Hello Bikini Bottom, Frozen Face-Off, It's a Spongebob Xmas) and some of the worst (Pet Sitter Pat, Demolition Doofus, Are You Happy Nao, Smoothe Jazz). Good job as always Pieguy. I'll just say this about season 9; it's better than the last 3 minus a few very infamous episodes. You people know what I'm talking about.
Even the worst of this season isn’t as bad as One Coarse Meal or A Pal For Gary. There’s a better balance between Good/Meh and Bad in this season than in Seasons 6 and 7. So I can safely say it’s definitely the best of the Dark Era, and a optimistic sign of Spongebob being great again.

Agreed you hate too many good episodes like sweet and sour squid ghoul fools CopyBob dittopants suction cup symphony and it didn’t even seem like you praised Chum fricassee enough. What about the Squidward and plankton interactions. They have very similar personalities so it’s cool to seem them together but you didn’t point that out. Cmon.
Season 9 was good. The only episodes I consider as atrocities are "Little Yellow Book", "Squid Baby", and "Spongebob You're Fired". The others are ranged from mediocre to straight up amazing.
For the episode, Ghoul Fools. Nickelodeon had a BIG missed opportunity of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis (Ghostbusters, 1984.) as guest stars in the special. The special aired in 2011, three years before Harold Ramis' death.
Also, there are a few bits in Restraining Spongebob that I do like, including the bit where Sponge tries to get the customers' orders to Squidward and he just rolls up a window on them, and I do like Mr Krabs line of "It'll stand. Oh, unless you'd rather have a talk with SpongeBob," knowing that's his only other option. Also, to SpongeBob's credit, he at least followed the restraining order to a T. It could've been so easy for them to have him just continuously try to get around the order and letting it get stale quick, but they didn't. As for the Squid getting fried bit, I see it more as showing him reaching his absolute breaking point and clinching his decision to finally pull out a restraining order. Plus, it was clear that SpongeBob wasn't really trying to maliciously harm him in any way.
My favorite gag they did with the clarinet was from "Christmas Who?" when SpongeBob rushes into Squidward's house to tell him that he hasn't sent Santa a gift request. Squidward is playing the clarinet while a phonograph is in the background, and when SpongeBob runs in, he stops playing, but the clarinet still is audible because it's coming from the phonograph. XD

Agree with you on almost everything. And I especially agree with the music being repetitive, just loads of those dumb xylophone tracks and almost no Hawaiian music, which set the mood of the show in its first 4 seasons.
spongebob's quote really ties in to the rated "its not exactly home sweet pineapple" (I'm talking about the episode "but it could be much worse" (like it could've gotten a scumbob)
Paper Mario 5 may have not been awful, but it's not worth getting up in arms about. At least in my opinion. The combat is too awful for that kind of praise.
I'm so glad that PIEGUYRULZ agrees with me on the episode Oral Report. I always thought it was a decent episode, but it seems to get a lot of hate for some reason. I feel like a lot of people like to immediately write off an episode the instant it has Patrick acting even the slightest bit jerky.
And I find it hilarious because who cares? Why do you people take things so seriously Go watch demolition doofus not Christmas who? Christmas who is too boring and long and makes you fall asleep
What's interesting is that, while they don't recast Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, they do manage to keep that superhero spirit alive with Season 10's "Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star". I just thought it was a cool way to continue the legend, them leaving it to SpongeBob's IMAGINAAAAATION.

InSpongeiac is my favorite episode from this season. Yes, Patrick was annoyingly stupid in it, but SpongeBob at least called him out on his advice being redundant which makes up for that bit. On top of that, it was nice to see the writers actually shed some light on sleeping problems, mixing it with some lighthearted comedy. I could relate to SpongeBob in this scenario, with his inability to fall asleep due to being overly stressed out.
I see your point about Bubble Troubles, I really do, but as someone with a fear of asphyxiation, it was *really* hard to watch for me. That doesn't mean it's a bad episode, it's still a very clever premise (and I love the joke at the end that they had an air tank the whole time and never used it), but watching the episode still bothers me. :|
I was intelligent and waited until I had watched the whole video to comment. Does that make me better than you? No, you're all awesome! I have to say that this was a really good video. This is the first time that I have watched the entire video the whole way through on the day it comes out, and you put a really good effort into everything. I really hope that you keep this high level of quality up for future episodes of the Every Episode of X Reviewed series, because this is one of the things that I really want to see more of when it comes to content on UA-cam.

Season 5's scumbob animation was based off Fungus Among Us. It's possible that this was based off something similar, perhaps the noose rope from Are You Happy Now? It looks like a helix, perhaps it's representing a double helix to look like DNA or something...?

He ate Squidward`s ticket and eventually it must have come out on the other end and so Patrick had his ticket for the concert XD
How I’d rewrite “are you happy now?” After a bad day at work, squidward feels upset. More and more things bother him and he believes he’s never been happy with everything that made him upset. Spongebob could try to give him good memories but fail, and near the end spongeBob could help squidward recall his favorite memories by the use of quick clips from episodes like Band Geeks, Suction Cup Symphony, and Enchanted Tiki Dreams. At the very end, he could be a bit happier at work and thank spongebob.
Awesome work! I'd ave to agree with your overall season rating and the It's a Spongebob Christmas is the best episode of the season. However, the worst episode to me would be Demolition Doofus. Pet Sitter Pat is bad, but not as bad as others think and Are You Happy Now didn't really bother me that much (Spongebob was legitimately trying to help Squidward).
I completely agree with Spongebob Christmas being the best episode because the stop motion is great and it's very light hearted and funny, but I have to agree with Pieguy with "Are you Happy Now" being the worst. Yes Demolition Doofus is horrible and it is definitely the 2nd worst episode of Spongebob this season for me, but at least the actual demolition is played over the top and obviously not possible in real life. "Are you Happy now" is played way too realistically and as someone who has known people and has even suffered from depression himself, this is NOT a subject matter that should be taken lightly. Plus, this is just personal, but that suicide joke was tastless and really struck a nerve that I haven't felt in any Spongebob episode except for "A Pal for Gary".

I'd like to see Mr. Enter and Pieguy have a debate on "Are You Happy Now". Mr. Enter actually considers it one of the closest Animated Atrocities to being good, while Pieguyrulz considers it to be one of the worst of the series.
I hate to be that guy that claims “one reviewer completely changed the general perception of an episode”, but with “Pet Sitter Pat”, it’s no secret that this episode was entirely obscure until Mr. Enter reviewed it. And trust me, I’m not defending this episode, it is a bad episode, but after watching it, I would never rank it among the most infamous Spongebob episodes, I wouldn’t even rank as one of the worst of Season 8. To me, it’s just a run-of-the-mill post-seasonal rot bad Patrick episode, that didn’t break any new ground. And as far as Gary torture episodes go, I think “The Cent of Money” is a far worse example, for several reasons. One, here it’s Mr. Krabs who abuses Gary, and unlike Patrick “accidentally” harming him through sheer stupidity, Mr. Krabs knows full well what he’s doing and just doesn’t care. Not helping matters is how that episode lingers on Gary’s misery far more and is far less “over the top” about it, making it look like a fairly realistic and somber portrayal of a greedy, uncaring person abusing a helpless animal for his own benefit. Hell, there is even a moment where Gary is pulling Mr. Krabs in cart and collapses from exhaustion, and Krabs actually threatens Gary with violence if he doesn’t keep moving, only stopping when Spongebob conveniently shows up. Not gonna lie, that moment legitimately disturbed me and just further made the episode pretty dark and mean-spirited in ways that “Pet Sitter Pat” could ever hope to be.
Pieguy, I must commend you on another excellent review. There's just two small things I'd like to bring up. First off, you didn't bring up the fact that it was during this season that SpongeBob had officially dethroned Rugrats to become the longest-running Nicktoon on the network. I know that isn't all that important, but it would've interesting hearing you talk about it. And, second, when you got to It's a SpongeBob Christmas (specifically the Patch segments), I was half-expecting you to say "Well, after his disastrous outing in Truth or Square, how does he fare here?" That would've added a nice tie-in to your Patchy video, but I'm sure it didn't cross your mind.
A better plot for Fiasco! would've been that Plankton tries to steal a Krabby Patty while everyone is distracted by the fiasco *wink wink*. Then a real art thief steals the Fiasco and they bump into each other. The Krabby Patty is mushed up and looks like the Fisaco so everyone thinks that Plankton is the art thief! Also Squidward doesn't get arrested.

your review for a "friendly game" perfectly embodies my thoughts for this season there are a few things I like a few that I don't but most of it is just kinda meh
Here's something that bothers me about "Hello Bikini Bottom", why did Patrick need to be in it? Aside from when he ate the spare tires (off-camera I might add) he did nothing to the story! I still like the episode though.
I thought "Frozen Face-off" was an okay special, but I did like the stop-motion animation of the Abominable Mollusk. I enjoyed this review, and it was worth the wait. Can't wait for you to review season 9 and the second movie!
Wow. I was waiting for the season to be completely split down the middle, but I was expecting absolute bipolarity (At least half Good and Scumbob, very few Meh), not 1/3 for every catagory!
I like "Planet of the Jellyfish" for the same reason i love (notice the difference between "liking" and "loving"!) Graveyard Shift. It's just this spooky, still cartony atmosphere that can make you have goosebumps. It's not like a creepypasta (I hate creepypastas, honestly), it's just a slightly creepy-whacky SpongeBob episode.
The televised origin of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I haven't laughed _that_ hard at a Spongebob episode since Perfect Chemistry and the first three seasons.
I thought Oral Report and Karate Star were awful episodes according to MrEnter's 50th Animated Atrocities episode... and I've been more happy to be proven wrong by Pieguyrulz...

While Nostalgia Critic, I Hate Everything, YourMovieSucks and Mr. Enter are all funny and good reviewers at the moment, their character in their reviews are pretty negative and it gets tiresome sometimes when they seem too serious or something. PieGuy isn't too focused on his humor but he's honest about what he watches and he has a more open mind. It's great!

+INTERNALLY SCREAMING I really agree with you on that, PIEGUYRULZ has a much more happy and charming feeling to his videos, while I do especially like IHE, Your Movie Sucks, Nostalgia Critic, etc. I can get really bored and depressed after watching a few of their videos, just because of how depressing and hopeless they can seem. Though, Mr Enter and Nostalgia Critic don't really make me feel that way.
If you look in the right spot, another reviewer with an optimistic attitude is Anim8Ball (formerly MoBrosStudios).
INTERNALLY SCREAMING I think of Pieguyrulz as the good cop, while Mr. Enter as the bad cop. Also, Mr. Enter has become much better since then. In hindsight, his older videos were very flawed.
Season 8 is the ultimate mixed bag. Some of the best post-movie episodes (Hello Bikini Bottom, Frozen Face-Off, It's a Spongebob Xmas) and some of the worst (Pet Sitter Pat, Demolition Doofus, Are You Happy Nao, Smoothe Jazz).
Good job as always Pieguy. I'll just say this about season 9; it's better than the last 3 minus a few very infamous episodes. You people know what I'm talking about.

Even the worst of this season isn’t as bad as One Coarse Meal or A Pal For Gary. There’s a better balance between Good/Meh and Bad in this season than in Seasons 6 and 7. So I can safely say it’s definitely the best of the Dark Era, and a optimistic sign of Spongebob being great again.

From what I've seen, 9A is a mixed bag and 9B is somewhere between season 3 and 4 in terms of quality
9A is a scumbob and season 9B is close to a be good one, but still meh
In my opinion, Season 9A is meh and Season 9B is good/higher end of meh.
Season 9 was good. The only episodes I consider as atrocities are "Little Yellow Book", "Squid Baby", and "Spongebob You're Fired". The others are ranged from mediocre to straight up amazing.
Exist some others bad episodes like "Squid Plus One", but they dont are popular.
For the episode, Ghoul Fools. Nickelodeon had a BIG missed opportunity of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis (Ghostbusters, 1984.) as guest stars in the special. The special aired in 2011, three years before Harold Ramis' death.
Also, there are a few bits in Restraining Spongebob that I do like, including the bit where Sponge tries to get the customers' orders to Squidward and he just rolls up a window on them, and I do like Mr Krabs line of "It'll stand. Oh, unless you'd rather have a talk with SpongeBob," knowing that's his only other option. Also, to SpongeBob's credit, he at least followed the restraining order to a T. It could've been so easy for them to have him just continuously try to get around the order and letting it get stale quick, but they didn't. As for the Squid getting fried bit, I see it more as showing him reaching his absolute breaking point and clinching his decision to finally pull out a restraining order. Plus, it was clear that SpongeBob wasn't really trying to maliciously harm him in any way.
My favorite gag they did with the clarinet was from "Christmas Who?" when SpongeBob rushes into Squidward's house to tell him that he hasn't sent Santa a gift request. Squidward is playing the clarinet while a phonograph is in the background, and when SpongeBob runs in, he stops playing, but the clarinet still is audible because it's coming from the phonograph. XD
One thing I noticed while watching all these videos is that the animations for the Scumbob episodes, that change for every season. It's rather cool.
To me, Hello Bikini Bottom is a perfect episode to end the worst era of Spongebob in terms of giving the show hope. (The worst era being seasons 6-8)

I really love that for Scumbob episodes, the theme changes to Man Ray. It’s a nice touch.
InSpongeiac is my favorite episode from this season. Yes, Patrick was annoyingly stupid in it, but SpongeBob at least called him out on his advice being redundant which makes up for that bit. On top of that, it was nice to see the writers actually shed some light on sleeping problems, mixing it with some lighthearted comedy. I could relate to SpongeBob in this scenario, with his inability to fall asleep due to being overly stressed out.
I think the fact for Squidtitis should have been about how that was the episode that surpassed Rugrats as the longest running Nicktoon.
I see your point about Bubble Troubles, I really do, but as someone with a fear of asphyxiation, it was *really* hard to watch for me. That doesn't mean it's a bad episode, it's still a very clever premise (and I love the joke at the end that they had an air tank the whole time and never used it), but watching the episode still bothers me. :|

I have to say that this was a really good video. This is the first time that I have watched the entire video the whole way through on the day it comes out, and you put a really good effort into everything. I really hope that you keep this high level of quality up for future episodes of the Every Episode of X Reviewed series, because this is one of the things that I really want to see more of when it comes to content on UA-cam.

Cannot say "enchanted tiki dreams ," is good because it just because it only shows squidward, happy, but can say that "it's a spongebob christmas " is a good episode just because of it's animation.

How I’d rewrite “are you happy now?”
After a bad day at work, squidward feels upset. More and more things bother him and he believes he’s never been happy with everything that made him upset. Spongebob could try to give him good memories but fail, and near the end spongeBob could help squidward recall his favorite memories by the use of quick clips from episodes like Band Geeks, Suction Cup Symphony, and Enchanted Tiki Dreams. At the very end, he could be a bit happier at work and thank spongebob.
Awesome work! I'd ave to agree with your overall season rating and the It's a Spongebob Christmas is the best episode of the season. However, the worst episode to me would be Demolition Doofus. Pet Sitter Pat is bad, but not as bad as others think and Are You Happy Now didn't really bother me that much (Spongebob was legitimately trying to help Squidward).
Honestly, I would have thought it was Smoothe Jazz At Bikini Bottom there myself.

I completely agree with Spongebob Christmas being the best episode because the stop motion is great and it's very light hearted and funny, but I have to agree with Pieguy with "Are you Happy Now" being the worst. Yes Demolition Doofus is horrible and it is definitely the 2nd worst episode of Spongebob this season for me, but at least the actual demolition is played over the top and obviously not possible in real life. "Are you Happy now" is played way too realistically and as someone who has known people and has even suffered from depression himself, this is NOT a subject matter that should be taken lightly. Plus, this is just personal, but that suicide joke was tastless and really struck a nerve that I haven't felt in any Spongebob episode except for "A Pal for Gary".

I'd like to see Mr. Enter and Pieguy have a debate on "Are You Happy Now". Mr. Enter actually considers it one of the closest Animated Atrocities to being good, while Pieguyrulz considers it to be one of the worst of the series.
Along with Frozen Face Off, Back to the Past, Ghoul Fools, and Sweet&Sour Squid
Pieguy labeled Oral Report as a good episode, while MrEnter rated it as being one of the worst Patrick’s a prick episodes.
I hate to be that guy that claims “one reviewer completely changed the general perception of an episode”, but with “Pet Sitter Pat”, it’s no secret that this episode was entirely obscure until Mr. Enter reviewed it. And trust me, I’m not defending this episode, it is a bad episode, but after watching it, I would never rank it among the most infamous Spongebob episodes, I wouldn’t even rank as one of the worst of Season 8. To me, it’s just a run-of-the-mill post-seasonal rot bad Patrick episode, that didn’t break any new ground.
And as far as Gary torture episodes go, I think “The Cent of Money” is a far worse example, for several reasons. One, here it’s Mr. Krabs who abuses Gary, and unlike Patrick “accidentally” harming him through sheer stupidity, Mr. Krabs knows full well what he’s doing and just doesn’t care. Not helping matters is how that episode lingers on Gary’s misery far more and is far less “over the top” about it, making it look like a fairly realistic and somber portrayal of a greedy, uncaring person abusing a helpless animal for his own benefit. Hell, there is even a moment where Gary is pulling Mr. Krabs in cart and collapses from exhaustion, and Krabs actually threatens Gary with violence if he doesn’t keep moving, only stopping when Spongebob conveniently shows up. Not gonna lie, that moment legitimately disturbed me and just further made the episode pretty dark and mean-spirited in ways that “Pet Sitter Pat” could ever hope to be.
Even so, if it weren’t for Are You Happy Now, Pet Sitter Pat would be the worst
Pieguy, I must commend you on another excellent review. There's just two small things I'd like to bring up.
First off, you didn't bring up the fact that it was during this season that SpongeBob had officially dethroned Rugrats to become the longest-running Nicktoon on the network. I know that isn't all that important, but it would've interesting hearing you talk about it.
And, second, when you got to It's a SpongeBob Christmas (specifically the Patch segments), I was half-expecting you to say "Well, after his disastrous outing in Truth or Square, how does he fare here?" That would've added a nice tie-in to your Patchy video, but I'm sure it didn't cross your mind.

"Glove World RIP" was likely the final appearance of Glove World until "Handemonium" in season 12
Surprised no comparison to A Pal For Gary was made when talking about Pet Sitter Pat.

A better plot for Fiasco! would've been that Plankton tries to steal a Krabby Patty while everyone is distracted by the fiasco *wink wink*. Then a real art thief steals the Fiasco and they bump into each other. The Krabby Patty is mushed up and looks like the Fisaco so everyone thinks that Plankton is the art thief! Also Squidward doesn't get arrested.
Yeah, Squidward getting arrested was so dumb, like, he didn’t do anything wrong

your review for a "friendly game" perfectly embodies my thoughts for this season there are a few things I like a few that I don't but most of it is just kinda meh
I like how the belt at the top changes from mermaidman's to manray's after the scumbob transition.
Because the ScumBob episodes are EEEEVILLLL!
Here's something that bothers me about "Hello Bikini Bottom", why did Patrick need to be in it? Aside from when he ate the spare tires (off-camera I might add) he did nothing to the story!
I still like the episode though.

I love the traffic light gag in the "The Krabby Patty that ate bikini bottom." That gag had me laugh all day.
I thought "Frozen Face-off" was an okay special, but I did like the stop-motion animation of the Abominable Mollusk. I enjoyed this review, and it was worth the wait. Can't wait for you to review season 9 and the second movie!
Wow. I was waiting for the season to be completely split down the middle, but I was expecting absolute bipolarity (At least half Good and Scumbob, very few Meh), not 1/3 for every catagory!
I think spongebob's dried out face in house sittin' for sandy is scary.
I like "Planet of the Jellyfish" for the same reason i love (notice the difference between "liking" and "loving"!) Graveyard Shift. It's just this spooky, still cartony atmosphere that can make you have goosebumps. It's not like a creepypasta (I hate creepypastas, honestly), it's just a slightly creepy-whacky SpongeBob episode.
The televised origin of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I haven't laughed _that_ hard at a Spongebob episode since Perfect Chemistry and the first three seasons.

Either they recast for Mermaid Man, or the CEO begins having seances to summon the ghost of Ernest Borgnine and have him possess a young intern working at the studios. Personally, I feel like my scenario is more realistic.
