I like the joke from Sanctuary where Patrick dresses like a snail to be with Spongebob, and then realized he fucked up when he saw how insane the situation actually was. Then the people show up at the door and Patrick tries to escape like “MROW, HELP. MROW, HELP!” And gets dragged right back into snail hell. I found that part funny for some reason.
If I made the episode “Little Yellow Book”, I would have Squidward reading SpongeBob’s diary and multiple people being skeptical of this and one fish could be saying something like “I wouldn’t do that if I were you, Squidward” then SpongeBob comes out of the kitchen and sees Squidward reading his diary and says something like “Squidward, how could you?” and starts crying. Then Squilliam Fancyson(Just because it seems like the perfect character to read it) finds Squidward’s diary and reads it and tells everyone about it and the bikini bottom citizens start laughing at him because he deserves it for reading SpongeBob’s diary and he becomes sad and realizes he did the exact same thing to SpongeBob and decides to apologize to SpongeBob. Maybe people would like it better that way
I wonder what pieguy will think of chatterbox Gary that was pretty good. I think he’ll say that the episode is pretty much a middle finger to Gary episodes where the main problem is that him and spongebob (or any other character) can’t understand each other since the episode has them fixing the problem, even though it didn’t just rely on Gary but also Squidward’s jerkiness in the second half of the episode to be good.
In the SpongeBob You're Fired review, I love how he puts other episodes on the section where the highlights should be, meaning that the _only_ highlight he has is how the moments where it rips off from other episodes made him be reminded of better episodes.

I just watched Mall Girl Pearl, and my favorite cameo was easily Carl from Selling Out. I also liked how one of the garage doors in the bottom of the mall said said “Krabs Is A ___”

PIEGUYRULZ series on Spongebob seemed to be more of an indepth analysis on the series & episodes compared to LSMarks kind of rushed video where he just watched every episode & gave a half-assed 1 minute or less review on each without really looking into any of it further. I remember him even saying he watched a season a day, how is he at all going to fully digest anything he had watched? It's a fairly fine video but I prefer PIEGUYRULZ's videos on just about every level. What I'm trying to say is that, really, PIEGUYRULZ ran so LSMark could walk.
I agree LSmark's video on spongebob is really not executed well. He should've given himself more time to watch these seasons back to back. Instead of just digesting them all in the course of 4 or 3 days.

I have two ideas here. 1. It was totally random chance. 2. Someone working as a writer for SpongeBob saw this video and got the idea from this video. Option 1 is very likely and is most likely what happened but it this wouldn't be the first time someone from Nickelodeon took an idea from a fan and called it their own so the slim like 0.001% is something we should consider.
Bulletin Board feels like it could've been from season 1, which had a lot of topical/message-oriented episodes like Ripped Pants - and Pineapple Invasion would have fit nicely in season 3
I have a theory that “Goobye Krabby Patty?” is a metaphor for Spongebob. A popular thing that everyone loved got mass produced for money, became bad, was filled with filler, and the only solution they could come up with was to make good “Krabby Patties” (episodes) again. Try to tell me I’m wrong, you will never unsee this.

Yes ! I can't wait to see this ! I think you improved a lot over the years , and its apparent in this video as your special effects are pretty fun and the points you make overall are better than previous spongebob season reviews . Fantastic video keep up the good work . But Pieguy , that point at 43:20 is a damn good idea ! Thats an amazing idea for an episode ! I wanna see it !That Spongebob your fired review was EXCELLENT ! But I gotta ask about this episode , maybe it was executives getting in the way , but this episode is clearly the worst episode in the series , like what could have possibly went wrong because its just confusingly horrendous .
I remember when "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?" Was first being promoted all of the advertisements for the special ended with this glitchy blue screen with a krabby patty covered in ice and a song that said "goodbye, see you later, so long" and it made me really excited for the episode

Other cameos in Mall Girl Pearl include Carl from Selling Out, Mr. Krabs’ mom, the pie clown from Culture Shock, the snail lady from Have You Seen this Snail, and the health inspector from Nasty Patty.
I think part of the reason why season nine was able to reach the quality of the first five seasons is because, Season 9’s Production wasn’t rushed like say season 6’s production Was. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t both Harvey Beaks and the _Loud House_ premiere when _SpongeBob_ was still airing its 9th season?
There's a weird rendering error at 2:33:52 where 3/4 of the screen goes black for a few seconds. It's not a big deal bc it's not there in the 9B video but I know that you're a stickler for this stuff :P
2:21:40 Sandy's pretty much become Barbie at this point: A do-all woman. Only she never changes her outfit. I have nothing against this since Sandy's still a very believable and likable girl-power character in modern cartoon history, and she still feels underused in most recent seasons.
As many agree, Season 9A feels painfully average to me yet I love the HD animation. 9B however has to be my favorite chunk of the entire series; I agree the atmosphere just makes watching this season feel so comfortable, and I think a lot of the stories are actually good. Even the ones you labeled as scumbob do not rub me in a bad way. As a whole, I like Season 9 and it's amazing (even a little funny to me) how 9A and 9B feel like seperate universes. If the series stayed at 9B quality for the continuing seasons, it would be in a very good position; lively animation and pretty interesting episodes. The bouncy, more dumbed- down approach from 10 onwards isn't the best considering what type of show SB was in its heyday. Season 12 was when I really didn't like the show anymore :/ aside from Big Birthday Blowout being perhaps my favorite special
I also notice A LOT of 9a’s episodes are mostly Krusty Krab themed which makes the atmosphere super lacking But 9b REALLY nails the comedy and atmosphere as noticed distinctly and tackles rarely seen locations like some of s7

Here’s how I would remake “Patrick! The Game.” Ok so Patrick & Squidward make a bet(as you suggested they should’ve done) that Patrick’s board game won’t be enjoyed by people in Bikini Bottom. Whoever loses has to clean the other’s house. After making his board game, he shows SpongeBob and he suggests to Patrick that he should sample it at the Krusty Krab. He unveils it to people at the Krusty Krab. There’s a cool guy fish that sees it and says “Wow dude. That’s bad” and Patrick misunderstands him and thinks that he didn’t like it but what the cool guy fish actually meant was that it was “bad” as in “really cool.” Another customers says “Yeah that’s totally bad!” and Patrick gets sad with his head down. Then Bubble Bass sees it and is amazed and says “Wow! I don’t know what to say” and Patrick already assumes that Bubble Bass doesn’t like it by saying “I know. You’re going to say it’s not very good.” Patrick walks away sad while Bubble Bass is confused as to why he thought it was bad. The background character Tom asks Patrick why he’s so sad and Patrick misunderstands him and thinks he said “Why it’s(The game) so bad?” and he says “I know my game is bad.” Squidward who just comes out of the bathroom, asks Patrick what the customers have said about his board game so far and he tells Squidward that the customers don’t seem to like it. So Squidward supposedly wins the bet and before Patrick goes to Squidward’s house to clean it, several Bikini Bottomites knock on Patrick’s rock and tell him how interested they were in the game and asked Patrick if they could play, which means Squidward has to clean Patrick’s house to Squidward’s annoyance and Patrick is confused as they seemed to not like it it earlier but they explain that he just misunderstood them and then they play the board game in Squidward’s house. After Squidward finishes cleaning up Patrick’s rock, all the fish that were playing Patrick’s board game with him go home and Patrick goes back to his house while he accidentally leaves the game in Squidward’s house and Squidward sees the game and starts enjoying it and SpongeBob and Patrick go back to Squidward’s house to get the game and see Squidward playing with the board game and Patrick declares his board game a success after seeing even Squidward enjoys it

Watch his channel update. Apart from watching the videos twice or more, and having to take time editing, adding the PieCons, as well as editing the audio and clips. As for when he'll release it, he's not giving a deadline anymore (as he stated in the update) which is a good thing because, he doesn't have to rush something and can search for mistakes and fix them. So when he feels like it's ready and most, if not all of the mistakes are fixed and caught.
Here we go with what I consider to be probably the best Post-Movie season of the show (or at least around the same quality as 4). Granted 9A kinda sucks, but 9B really does have so many gems. Anyway: Good: Patrick-Man!, License to Milkshake, Eek, an Urchin!, Jailbreak! , Plankton's Pet, Tutor Sauce, Squid Plus One, The Executive Treatment, Pull Up a Barrel, What's Eating Patrick? , Patrick! The Game, The Sewers of Bikini Bottom, Larry's Gym, Married to Money (to me, this is a FAR superior version of "To Love a Patty", and the sea bear cameo made me like it even more), Mall Girl Pearl, Two Thumbs Down, Sharks vs. Pods, Sold!, Goodbye, Krabby Patty? (This one was close to meh though), Sandy's Nutmare, Bulletin Board, Snail Mail, Pineapple Invasion, The Whole Tooth (call me insane, but I legitimately consider this episode Top 50 material for the entire show). Meh: Extreme Spots, Gary's New Toy, Squid Defense, Evil Spatula (would've liked it if it was a more original plot, though I do think it is a far superior version than the atrocity known as All That Glitters), It Came from Goo Lagoon, Safe Deposit Krabs, Don't Look Now, Seance Schemance, Kenny the Cat, Yeti Krabs, Lost in Bikini Bottom, Sanctuary! , SpongeBob LongPants, CopyBob DittoPants, Lame and Fortune, Food Con Castaways (I did like a couple of the jokes in here, which just barely saved it from falling down into ScumBob territory). ScumBob: Squirrel Record (just a bad version of Pre-Hibernation Week and nothing more), Squid Baby, Little Yellow Book, Bumper to Bumper, SpongeBob, You're Fired! , Company Picnic (Honestly am surprised this episode doesn't get more hate- it's legitimately one of the laziest ones this show has ever conceived. It barely even had a plot at all!) , The Fish Bowl, Salsa Imbecillicus (I think BradenInsane summed up this episode best when he called it "Diet Nitwitting"), Mutiny on the Krusty 24 Good 16 Meh 9 ScumBob Top 5: 5. The Sewers of Bikini Bottom 4. Sold! 3. Pineapple Invasion 2. Plankton's Pet 1. The Whole Tooth Bottom 5: 5. Little Yellow Book 4. The Fish Bowl 3. Company Picnic 2. Squid Baby 1. SpongeBob, You're Fired! Overall, I honestly have to say that this season is pretty solid all things considered. Sure, most of the good episodes aren't particularly AMAZING or anything like that, but there's still plenty of them, and most of the bad episodes also were fairly close to meh. Any of the top 3 episodes can easily make it in my Top 100 for the show, and only SpongeBob, You're Fired! and Squid Baby would crack the Bottom 50 (with the former cracking the bottom 15). Overall, I have a hard time deciding whether or not I prefer this season to Season 4 or not. On the one hand, this season definitely has a lot more good episodes than that season, yet at the same time the highs in Season 4 definitely tended to be far better, while the lows in this season, while having less, still tended to be around the same level of quality. I'd probably give the slight edge to this season since there's more content I can enjoy overall, but I'd otherwise say both seasons are relatively equal. And now, we go on forth to the final Season PieGuy reviewed, and what I personally consider to be the most overrated season of the show (or at least it was when it first came out... Not sure what the general consensus of it is now).
I actually looked it up on the anti-scumbob wiki, and there are only 4 mediocre episodes from this season. When a season only has four bad episodes out of 49, that's how you know a season's good. If I were to put season 9 anywhere on my ranking of seasons, I would put it in 2nd place. That's how much I love season 9.
1:25:00 They did the same sort of thing in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode "Super Trivia". When the characters are at the booth doing the quiz Carl eats hundreds and hundreds of chicken wings in the episode and didn't get full. This was because the character Wayne The Brain had created an entire holographic bar with his mind so he would never lose at rivia quizzes. I'm sorry if this bores you or not. Just thought you might like to know. : )
The whole CG island in the HD intro is just the result of them no longer having the original scale model island & tank anymore. Besides, the continuity of having a CG island similar to the one in the second movie is neat.
I like how whenever I recognize an episode here from Seasons 6-9 that I've seen on tv, 80% of the time it's a Scumbob and 20% is meh. There's people who say there are several good new episodes out there and I'm just like, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT WHERE?!" Damn it Nick just show me!
I bought the Season 9 DVD and after watching this video, it helped me enjoy this season. "Bulletin Board" is my favourite, followed by "Plankton's Pet"

XDCannon234 It can go either way for me, but he seemed to praise a lot more good episodes than 4. That being said, there were a lot worse episodes in 5. However, I think 5 would beat out 4 because it took a lot of risks and, for the most part, it paid off
So if you could condense the dark age of Spongebob (seasons 5-9A) into one season and try to make it as palatable as possible, what 45 episodes would you choose? I tried to keep it to the ones I actually liked, but I ran out after 20 or so, so I added more of them, largely consisting of episodes I was indifferent about or that I didn’t like but at least found nothing truly bad about them. I like the joke from Sanctuary where Patrick dresses like a snail to be with Spongebob, and then realized he fucked up when he saw how insane the situation actually was. Then the people show up at the door and Patrick tries to escape like “MROW, HELP. MROW, HELP!” And gets dragged right back into snail hell. I found that part funny for some reason.

If I made the episode “Little Yellow Book”, I would have Squidward reading SpongeBob’s diary and multiple people being skeptical of this and one fish could be saying something like “I wouldn’t do that if I were you, Squidward” then SpongeBob comes out of the kitchen and sees Squidward reading his diary and says something like “Squidward, how could you?” and starts crying. Then Squilliam Fancyson(Just because it seems like the perfect character to read it) finds Squidward’s diary and reads it and tells everyone about it and the bikini bottom citizens start laughing at him because he deserves it for reading SpongeBob’s diary and he becomes sad and realizes he did the exact same thing to SpongeBob and decides to apologize to SpongeBob. Maybe people would like it better that way

I wonder what pieguy will think of chatterbox Gary that was pretty good. I think he’ll say that the episode is pretty much a middle finger to Gary episodes where the main problem is that him and spongebob (or any other character) can’t understand each other since the episode has them fixing the problem, even though it didn’t just rely on Gary but also Squidward’s jerkiness in the second half of the episode to be good.
In the SpongeBob You're Fired review, I love how he puts other episodes on the section where the highlights should be, meaning that the _only_ highlight he has is how the moments where it rips off from other episodes made him be reminded of better episodes.

PIEGUYRULZ walked so LSMARK could run
PIEGUYRULZ series on Spongebob seemed to be more of an indepth analysis on the series & episodes compared to LSMarks kind of rushed video where he just watched every episode & gave a half-assed 1 minute or less review on each without really looking into any of it further. I remember him even saying he watched a season a day, how is he at all going to fully digest anything he had watched? It's a fairly fine video but I prefer PIEGUYRULZ's videos on just about every level. What I'm trying to say is that, really, PIEGUYRULZ ran so LSMark could walk.
I agree LSmark's video on spongebob is really not executed well. He should've given himself more time to watch these seasons back to back. Instead of just digesting them all in the course of 4 or 3 days.

I have two ideas here.

I think part of the reason why season nine was able to reach the quality of the first five seasons is because, Season 9’s Production wasn’t rushed like say season 6’s production Was. 2:21:40 Sandy's pretty much become Barbie at this point: A do-all woman. Only she never changes her outfit. I have nothing against this since Sandy's still a very believable and likable girl-power character in modern cartoon history, and she still feels underused in most recent seasons.

As many agree, Season 9A feels painfully average to me yet I love the HD animation. 9B however has to be my favorite chunk of the entire series; I agree the atmosphere just makes watching this season feel so comfortable, and I think a lot of the stories are actually good. Even the ones you labeled as scumbob do not rub me in a bad way.
As a whole, I like Season 9 and it's amazing (even a little funny to me) how 9A and 9B feel like seperate universes. If the series stayed at 9B quality for the continuing seasons, it would be in a very good position; lively animation and pretty interesting episodes. The bouncy, more dumbed- down approach from 10 onwards isn't the best considering what type of show SB was in its heyday. Season 12 was when I really didn't like the show anymore :/ aside from Big Birthday Blowout being perhaps my favorite special
I also notice A LOT of 9a’s episodes are mostly Krusty Krab themed which makes the atmosphere super lacking
But 9b REALLY nails the comedy and atmosphere as noticed distinctly and tackles rarely seen locations like some of s7

Here’s how I would remake “Patrick! The Game.” Ok so Patrick & Squidward make a bet(as you suggested they should’ve done) that Patrick’s board game won’t be enjoyed by people in Bikini Bottom. Whoever loses has to clean the other’s house. After making his board game, he shows SpongeBob and he suggests to Patrick that he should sample it at the Krusty Krab. He unveils it to people at the Krusty Krab. There’s a cool guy fish that sees it and says “Wow dude. That’s bad” and Patrick misunderstands him and thinks that he didn’t like it but what the cool guy fish actually meant was that it was “bad” as in “really cool.” Another customers says “Yeah that’s totally bad!” and Patrick gets sad with his head down. Then Bubble Bass sees it and is amazed and says “Wow! I don’t know what to say” and Patrick already assumes that Bubble Bass doesn’t like it by saying “I know. You’re going to say it’s not very good.” Patrick walks away sad while Bubble Bass is confused as to why he thought it was bad. The background character Tom asks Patrick why he’s so sad and Patrick misunderstands him and thinks he said “Why it’s(The game) so bad?” and he says “I know my game is bad.” Squidward who just comes out of the bathroom, asks Patrick what the customers have said about his board game so far and he tells Squidward that the customers don’t seem to like it. So Squidward supposedly wins the bet and before Patrick goes to Squidward’s house to clean it, several Bikini Bottomites knock on Patrick’s rock and tell him how interested they were in the game and asked Patrick if they could play, which means Squidward has to clean Patrick’s house to Squidward’s annoyance and Patrick is confused as they seemed to not like it it earlier but they explain that he just misunderstood them and then they play the board game in Squidward’s house. After Squidward finishes cleaning up Patrick’s rock, all the fish that were playing Patrick’s board game with him go home and Patrick goes back to his house while he accidentally leaves the game in Squidward’s house and Squidward sees the game and starts enjoying it and SpongeBob and Patrick go back to Squidward’s house to get the game and see Squidward playing with the board game and Patrick declares his board game a success after seeing even Squidward enjoys it

I would expect for his season 10 review to be WAY shorter then his season 9 review (for obvious reasons as well XD)
Watch his channel update. Apart from watching the videos twice or more, and having to take time editing, adding the PieCons, as well as editing the audio and clips. As for when he'll release it, he's not giving a deadline anymore (as he stated in the update) which is a good thing because, he doesn't have to rush something and can search for mistakes and fix them. So when he feels like it's ready and most, if not all of the mistakes are fixed and caught.

Here we go with what I consider to be probably the best Post-Movie season of the show (or at least around the same quality as 4). Granted 9A kinda sucks, but 9B really does have so many gems.
Anyway:
Good: Patrick-Man!, License to Milkshake, Eek, an Urchin!, Jailbreak! , Plankton's Pet, Tutor Sauce, Squid Plus One, The Executive Treatment, Pull Up a Barrel, What's Eating Patrick? , Patrick! The Game, The Sewers of Bikini Bottom, Larry's Gym, Married to Money (to me, this is a FAR superior version of "To Love a Patty", and the sea bear cameo made me like it even more), Mall Girl Pearl, Two Thumbs Down, Sharks vs. Pods, Sold!, Goodbye, Krabby Patty? (This one was close to meh though), Sandy's Nutmare, Bulletin Board, Snail Mail, Pineapple Invasion, The Whole Tooth (call me insane, but I legitimately consider this episode Top 50 material for the entire show).
Meh: Extreme Spots, Gary's New Toy, Squid Defense, Evil Spatula (would've liked it if it was a more original plot, though I do think it is a far superior version than the atrocity known as All That Glitters), It Came from Goo Lagoon, Safe Deposit Krabs, Don't Look Now, Seance Schemance, Kenny the Cat, Yeti Krabs, Lost in Bikini Bottom, Sanctuary! , SpongeBob LongPants, CopyBob DittoPants, Lame and Fortune, Food Con Castaways (I did like a couple of the jokes in here, which just barely saved it from falling down into ScumBob territory).
ScumBob: Squirrel Record (just a bad version of Pre-Hibernation Week and nothing more), Squid Baby, Little Yellow Book, Bumper to Bumper, SpongeBob, You're Fired! , Company Picnic (Honestly am surprised this episode doesn't get more hate- it's legitimately one of the laziest ones this show has ever conceived. It barely even had a plot at all!) , The Fish Bowl, Salsa Imbecillicus (I think BradenInsane summed up this episode best when he called it "Diet Nitwitting"), Mutiny on the Krusty

Overall, I honestly have to say that this season is pretty solid all things considered. Sure, most of the good episodes aren't particularly AMAZING or anything like that, but there's still plenty of them, and most of the bad episodes also were fairly close to meh. Any of the top 3 episodes can easily make it in my Top 100 for the show, and only SpongeBob, You're Fired! and Squid Baby would crack the Bottom 50 (with the former cracking the bottom 15). Overall, I have a hard time deciding whether or not I prefer this season to Season 4 or not. On the one hand, this season definitely has a lot more good episodes than that season, yet at the same time the highs in Season 4 definitely tended to be far better, while the lows in this season, while having less, still tended to be around the same level of quality. I'd probably give the slight edge to this season since there's more content I can enjoy overall, but I'd otherwise say both seasons are relatively equal. And now, we go on forth to the final Season PieGuy reviewed, and what I personally consider to be the most overrated season of the show (or at least it was when it first came out... Not sure what the general consensus of it is now).
I actually looked it up on the anti-scumbob wiki, and there are only 4 mediocre episodes from this season. When a season only has four bad episodes out of 49, that's how you know a season's good. If I were to put season 9 anywhere on my ranking of seasons, I would put it in 2nd place. That's how much I love season 9.

1:25:00 They did the same sort of thing in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode "Super Trivia". When the characters are at the booth doing the quiz Carl eats hundreds and hundreds of chicken wings in the episode and didn't get full. This was because the character Wayne The Brain had created an entire holographic bar with his mind so he would never lose at rivia quizzes. I'm sorry if this bores you or not. Just thought you might like to know. : )

The whole CG island in the HD intro is just the result of them no longer having the original scale model island & tank anymore. Besides, the continuity of having a CG island similar to the one in the second movie is neat.
I like how whenever I recognize an episode here from Seasons 6-9 that I've seen on tv, 80% of the time it's a Scumbob and 20% is meh. There's people who say there are several good new episodes out there and I'm just like, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT WHERE?!" Damn it Nick just show me!

I am curios, how would you rank each spongebob season from best to worst. I know I can look at the statics, but you may like certain good episodes and certain scumbobs worst then others. So if you could condense the dark age of Spongebob (seasons 5-9A) into one season and try to make it as palatable as possible, what 45 episodes would you choose? I tried to keep it to the ones I actually liked, but I ran out after 20 or so, so I added more of them, largely consisting of episodes I was indifferent about or that I didn’t like but at least found nothing truly bad about them. And I added a smattering of bad episodes, just to be “realistic”.
