Fuckin seriously though. I love this game but the wanted for anything shit annoys the holy fucking shit out of me to the point that I just turn it off and don't play it for a few months.
@@DracoPadilla Sure but if it a small thing you can defuse it sometimes and they don't report it or you can even talk your way out of it with the law if they haven't seen you commit the crime. I got ambused in Saint Denis, they made sure it was a secluded location so no witnesses who saw me but they just heard the gunshots after I shot them. Police came in to investigate but because no one saw me commit the crime, I calmly talked to the police before they went to investigate. Was told to move along because there seemed to be something going on. They couldn't identify a suspect and I got no bounty. @@Suztvfan You're lucky then cuz they don't act like that for me. For me they just come out guns blazin. Even if a dude hits me first or takes a shot at me first, I can't do anything back or I get in trouble. Even though its self defense. Idk I love this game, but the wanted system is very broken. Shit even back in the days on the old GTA's or rdr1 if someone hit you the cop would take them to jail, not you. In SA i would get punched in front of a cop and the cop would beat the shit out of the guy that hit me. When they made GTA V they broke the wanted system and won't fix it. On GTA V I'll be out on a boat in the middle of the ocean and start firing my weapons to test them amd the cops will just appear out of nowhere. Like who tf called them? A fuckin shark? I REALLY Hate how someone can pull a gun on you... shoot you... and then when you punch them out or pistol whip them, you get a wanted level. Wtf??? You should be able to defend yourself anywhere in the game with no penalty. Except when robbing someone, of course. They should be able to defend themselves too. 😂
Josh Holden ... lol... so true. I had to kill 2 campers and chase down 3 different witnesses, killing 2 and hogtieing the last just because of that same scenario. It was raining bad honor that day.

god I hate that. Accidentally bump into a guy on the way out of a store. Guy pulls a gun out and starts shooting at me. I shoot him in self defense since I would die while running away. Get bounty.
@@Mazetism I think it's realistic that people will report you even if you kill your attacker since they don't know why or who you killed they only know that you killed someone out there. I'd report that too to the sheriff. They won't report you if they see the attacker attacking you but most times the witness see you killing the target too late. I had a bug once in Valentine where i said rude things to an npc and he drew a weapon on me and started shooting. I quickly killed him with dead eye but the town called the sheriff on me for a murder. That was pretty dumb but I think it was a bug rather than a feature.
Lyonmane ™ I’d accept the realism thing only if you could explain yourself to the witness or lawman, in rl you’re allowed to tell your side of the story. As far as I know you can only threaten witnesses and surrender to lawman.
Ohhhhh, that explains why ive been getting instant bounties even though im warning mask. Now if only i could defend myself from an attacker without incurring a bounty for self defense.
I knocked a guy out with a gun in town because they were trying to drown a lady in a horse water trough and got a bounty. I just did a good thing and still was the bad guy. My feelings are hurt
The witness system in the game is broken without a shadow of a doubt. If you use nothing but a bow, go into the back of the doctor's office, kill everyone back there before they say a single word, there are people outside in the front that know what you did. The sheriff/deputy/law officer are already "know what you did." There is absolute no way in the game you can rob a store without everyone knowing outside. It's really pathetic and beyond frustrating.
Johnny Vegas GTA V made me mad about that. You’d kill somebody in the middle of nowhere with a melee weapon or a suppressed weapon and they magically know you did it
Thats a lie, I robbed doctor in Valentine like 100 times while wearing my mask. Took the money, left the shop and took off my mask while leaving the shop. I got wanted for like only 10 times out of 100.
In my experience like the guy who robs you running out of the gunsmith, you can lasso him just enough to loot your money back then you have to let him go because if you attempt to pick his hogtied body up, it's kidnapping.
That happened to me at the saint denise tailor yesterday. I immediately went back out the door and put both barrels of my sawn off in his back. The townsfolk were horrified but no bounty.
Basically, just have one or two outfits for crimes and two for your law "abiding" life, like the O'Driscoll gang; they wear black and green with hoods for crimes but sometimes you'll encounter them in Strawberry wearing regular clothes and making threats at you.
If you change your clothes/hat/mask as your riding away from being wanted the wanted level literally drops faster for everyone who doesn't believe changing clothes helps.
Yeah once you're out of the red zone removing the mask drops the meter quick. And I imagine the more you change the faster it drops as you said. It was weird I robbed the medical place in Valentine for the revolver and then got caught in the room cause i was trying to open the bank door. The only bounty I got was 1$ for bumping the cop on the way out and then $2 more for running. I took off and then removed my mask and then just went back and payed the lousy 3 dollars but it wad so weird. 4 dead bodies and me standing there and they only get bad at the push and then running from the push lol
ImFlyLikeRedBull yeah but to do that you have to get off you're horse as you can't change cloths while riding, might as well just keep riding and go some place else as the red circle is never a problem to get away from tbf.
Its what the rest of the world calls uptalking. Because only americans do it. If anyone else does it, it's because they like americans. It's beyond irritating how much it has infected the world. We need an extinction event.
I was giving a woman a ride back to town after her horse died on the road. I came in a bit too fast and she fell off, I became wanted for unarmed assault.....FML
Same I rescued a girl who was being kidnapped and when I cut her loose from the binds her capturer had put on her she screamed "I don't have to deal with this!" And ran away and I got a bounty for kidnapping. Also at one point I was just calmly riding through saint denis minding my own business and I got a random unexplained $5 bounty, tbf I had just refused to kill a guy for the mayor so maybe that's why but still, just riding through saint denis doing nothing and greeting people being friendly and suddenly a cop starts shooting at me and I get a $5 dollar bounty with no crime attributed to it in the prompt and I just ride my horse out of there asap to the next town over's mail office to pay it off
Well, just got that mission yesterday. I whistled my horse to give her a ride. I thought my horse was close enough and pressed E, but ended up accidentally chocking her 😳 No apology was enough for her and she ran away. Oops.
I think it is their intention, because if they told us all the things in details that we need to know and can do in the game, all the excitement of the game will be gone. So, figuring things out ourselves keep the game fresh all the time.
>walking around minding my business >random o'driscoll/lemon raider shoots or punches me >waste their ass >**WANTED:** assault/murder >honor goes down why
Actually the other day I was walking around Valentine and was ambushed by three O'Driscolls. We fought for a while and I got tired of being punched around and pulled out my knife and just started slashing. I'm pretty sure I killed them all but since they hit first, no bounty.
Yesterday i had the most amazing moment ever. So i went and robbed the poker room above the gunsmith in saint denis, the cops arrived. When I heard them arrive, i jumped off the balcony, onto the street, took off my mask and started walking normally, and then my wanted level went away and I immediately walked past a cop
I think this is cool. Walked into a saloon and heard this guy mouthing off. No promt to talk or hit. So I pushed him to start the fight. Ppl reported it to the law and everyone exit the saloon. When the law got there I was still punching on. No weapons just fist. The law just stood there till I knocked him out. He then walked up to me and told me to walk. I had to walk out of town and didn't receive a bounty.
That hapened to me too!! We was throwing hamds in the saloon and the lawmen just told to me to keep it moving.. I almost shed a tear of jou at the bad assery ..
This is such a weird mix of super realistic elements (3 different kinds of witnesses, the cloths/horse effecting how likely it is for them to recognize you etc.) and extremely gamey/immersion breaking elements like some back water cop who never has heard of you knowing exactly who you are.
Something i dont like much too when you swap to your bandit outfit and put the bandana on. It counts as a new outfit and overwrite your main outfit on your horse. Not too smart rockstar, now i have two exactly same outfits stored on my horse one with and one without bandana. Not practicle.. now I have to go to the wardrobe and change things again
Try this: save your bandit outfit then save your other outfit, store both on horse, now youll have custom outfit wich is the one your currently equipped , custom outfit 1 wich is the same outfit and custom 2 wich is the other one. Now if you put your bandana it messes the default outfit you are wearing but can go back to any of the other 2. You have 2 of the same and 1 different
I did a LONG ride from Valentine to Saint Denis , so I plotted a way point, got in cinematic mode and hit X a few times so the horse can travel on “auto pilot” to my way point while I watch UA-cam videos on my phone. Upon arrival to saint denis, the auto pilot horse collided with an NPC and knocked him off his horse. Apparently that was a crime and a woman who witness ran to report. So I chased her and tackled her to threaten her to keep quiet... except, I tackled the wrong woman, and everyone saw, instantly got a bounty and those city cops from saint denis ruined my day...
Olka K Yeah, First you need to set a way point. Open your map and use the crosshairs to hover over your destination of travel then press X to set a way point. You should know see a red line of direction to follow on your mini map. Now get on a road. Hold down the middle sense square to activate cinematic mode, and press x a few times to get the horse running, and bam! Auto pilot lol. The horse will keep the speed and automatically fall the directions to the way point
I literally cannot thank you enough for this video. I was getting SO FRUSTRATED with the bounty system, it seemed like there was nothing I could do to avoid getting one! The custom outfits thing just never even occurred to me for some reason.
It's also very helpful to do holdups with the bow and arrow, since you can quickly and silently shoot the weapon out of their hand if they try to shoot back.
This game needs the option to take 1-2 gang members with you to free roam around and rob. I know it will be like this online with friends but it would be awesome to take marston and bill or sadie to rob a drug store or train. Maybe have story missions turn off when you ask them to come with you and have to option to have them leave and head to camp at anytime to get back to the story. How about a nice big patch/dlc Rockstar, my ps4 can take it. 👍
Ashley Smith yeah but that’s not proper free roam, you follow them and they tell you what you’re robbing/doing and once you’ve done it you can’t do it with them again.
Not that bad. The fact that cops identify you even when wearing a mask is garbage. Otherwise its way better than gta series or skyrim's bounty system. I'd say it is better even with that flaw.
@@godet1985 I guess. If they changed the fact cops identify you with the mask on it would be good enough. I don't think I have problem with anything else.
I love how deep this game goes. There are so many details that years later I keep discovering new locations. I’m finally looking into what other people have found, I wish I would have avoided bounties from the beginning. I thought it was “the cost of doing business.”
Same, I got a lot of the treasures early in the game, but lost most of my cash it due to bounty hunters and bounties. Now that I have explosive rounds and better dead eye, I can handle bounty hunters most of the time.
I’ve been getting real frustrated a couple of times where I had a mask on, but still got a bounty. I didn’t have a clue it had to do clothing, hair, etc. I keep suprising myself with how much detail and depth this game has. And also, thanks for the info. I’m gonna have more fun in the game because of this..
Haha I'm anal about that so I do the same and idk how my bounty goes away when loading. QUESTION, there are no death stats or retry stats huh? Nor mission attempt stats?
GreetedDust8 This is precisely why in a game like this they should have a save system like Dark Souls where every action is instantly saved and autosave overwritten. Honestly I expected that save system was in place, the save system they are adopting is really old and open to this kind of “abuse”.
TagBackTV Man it’s hard to say right now. I’m loving every aspect of this game. My wife (who isn’t a gamer) watches me play like she’s watching a movie and gets on to me for committing crimes lol.

i love this game .Miles ahead of anything i've ever played . The story was an emotional rollercoaster.10/10 in my book. Because this game is so realistic it makes it hard to figure out what makes some mechanics tick, because you hold them to a higher standard. the wanted system however is really clunky and weird. npc's can be as violent as they want but self defence is apparently the same as commiting crimes. the sixth sense npc's have break also immersion. Another great addition would be a gun stash to store some weapons .
That makes sense. Self defense, idk what it is but it seems unfair, like a group of O'driscalls pull guns and shoot first in town, but i end up with a bounty. Plus if you stand still, the law will watch while you get gunned down by the attackers.
This has happened to me as well. I was so pissed! I was yelling at my tv "SELF DEFENSE!!!" I hope Rockstar looks into it but still loving RDR2 regardless! lol
@@sk8ermGs ok well I guess my game is bugged too. And so are the games of 3 of my friends who also said the same..and a lot of people making youtube videos about it. Guess R* jusr released a really buggy game then if that's a bug.
Yep. That’s why I hate Saint Deniz. I’m getting threatened by people and when I defend myself I get wanted. Not to mention every one walks on the fucking middle of the road can’t even move anywhere in case I run over someone smh
@Thickerspartan he said that in the vid. I think the logic is that the law enforcers would be more aware if Arthur than the civillians. Think of it like if a friend of yours was wearing a mask. You would still recognise them because they would be the same size, shape and other traits and charecteristics that you would recognise.
Yeah makes more sense to wear a crime outfit all the time and switch to a hide outfit after the crime. I actually wonder if the outfit even matters. If you didn't get caught and no bounty then no one will suspect you of anything anyway. I robbed the back room in valentine and got a bounty escaping then paid it off and went and robbed the general store.. the guy reported it and I used the same outfit but got no bounty because I fled before the law saw me.. I think that's all that matters.
I think the bounty system is shit, you can have any clothes on, wear a full mask like a sack hood for example, and they will still know it's you. you can kill every witness, every lawman, and you will still have the bounty once you leave the area, the only way to remove the bounty is to surrender to the law or pay it off, both of which cost you money. If you don't pay it you get attack by bounty hunters pretty much everyday, if you die while fighting the bounty hunters your bounty still remains. Robbing a train is one of the best ways to make money, you can make about 300 off the passengers, and can loot a safe after you attach dynamite to it, if you kill a guard even with a knife the other guards on the train will come after you and will open fire, then lawmen will be not far behind, you will end up getting a bounty for robbing the train. It seems no matter crime you do in the game, it ends up costing more than what you get. The only sure fire way to get money is to be in the outskirts of towns and steal the coaches then sell them to the coach fence for $40 (25 if it's damage). You can do that without getting the law on you. For a game that is supposed to be about outlaws it sure does punish you for committing crime, the least they could have done is make it more like Mafia 2 where the clothes are what the bounty is attached too, they could have linked it to your hairstyle, but wearing a cover on your entire face should make you undetectable. Or at the very least give you a way to remove bounties other than having to pay huge sums of money to remove it. If they want to be so realistic, just fucking hang my character, because that is where you would end up. I've finished the game and have been frustrated by the idiotic design choices they've decided to put in the game, it sorely needs a patch to fix this, the entire problem could be solved by having a player only stash that you can withdraw from later then you could surrender without any loss, and pick the money back up when the heats off. Or make it so the law doesn't have wall hacks, x-ray fucking vision.

Well I mean obvioushy the shopkeeper would not put money in the cash register. Even though that's literally what it's for. While you werent looking "even though you stood in front of him, staring at him" he showed the money up his ass while you blinked because this is extremely detailed, realistic and a perfect game of the century.
I ran over a dog that ran in front of my horse in front of the police station in valentine and killed it, which resulted in me and my horse getting killed almost instantly. people say for minor crime like this you can just walk up to the cops and pretty much get away with it, but these guys just started shooting me. I didn't even have time to get off my horse.
Legendary bear. Once I was trying to hitch my horse in valentine at the police station, accidentally shot the brick wall in front of me, got a bounty and the barber in the saloon glitched and he would never go out of frightened mode.
I actually killed the bear revenant style with the big ugly bastard on top of me with my knife. I about shit myself but it was at that moment I realized this game was going to get me in a lot of trouble with the old lady.
The bounty system just sucks in general. I hope they add a patch that gives an option to turn it off. I do not mind the wanted portion, but the bounty part of it is just an annoyance.
Thanks man this will help me alot for my next nightly RDR2 session today... looking forward to do some huge misschief in St Denis , Valentine and Rhodes LOL
It's too much a pain in the ass changing cloths over and over just to keep the law off you, for starters you never know when you're going to commit a crime in this game, anything can happen and shit happens fast, even with a bounty of just say 300 you can still enter that town and even walk into the sherif office and start a bounty hunt without them doing a thing, it's only when the bounty gets to wanted dead or alive and the entire state is red the law comes directly after you. Basically the entire wanted system is a complete mess, not very realistic at all to just walk into a sherif office and nothing happens when you're wanted by them but at dead or alive level they know you're exact location soon as you enter the state, completely broken!!
You can keep 4 outfits on your horse, changing outfits is pretty easy. and you can change an outfit right after the crime is commited, it will also make the coppers less likely to recognize you from the citizen report. That being said, getting bounties from stupid citizens running infront of you or picking a fight with you is pretty damn dumb, and does need to be fixed.
I Can't be arsed to be running back and forwards, waiting for the red circle to go away, change clothes just to go back and repeat, it's annoying, repetitive and boring. All they had to do was keep it simple, get spotted committing a crime without a mask on and you're identity is exposed, the law should not know who you are wearing a mask unless you take it off, get it knocked off or forced to remove it, but no they instantly know who you are regardless, this is why i don't bother with masks or changing cloths or changing horse, there's no point.
@@Sage..... yeah bounties don't matter anyway. I have a bounty of 1500 just in saint denis and I can play just fine. The only annoying thing is bounty hunters showing up right when I'm about to start a mission
R* tried to overthink this mechanic - and it's actually broken. There's many times I've still been recognised in a different outfit, No mask, and different horse. Even a few times I've had bounty put on me in the wilderness miles away from towns while wearing a full head mask. And even with a mask I've received Negative honour points while looting people with no witnesses around. Biggest annoyance - It often FAILS to actually change the character appearance when switching from a normal outfit to a Custom outfit while on the horse = basically making the 4th outfit worthless.
I robbed a train wearing the executioner hood and crime outfit and killed the guards with arrows and knives. I still attracted the law and the train stopped. Also It stopped at the tunnel and bridge by cottora springs, the law couldnt even board. They were stuck on the mt.s cliffs just standing there. I left out the back of the train tunnel and called my horse and rode off without being seen. Once i was out of the red and my wanted lvl cleared , i changed outfits and i still had a bounty. Its kinda dumb. Once you change outfits the bounty should disappear and only be applied if u ever wear that outfit (or major pieces of it; coat, shirt, pants) and/or mask again. Otherwise whats the point. I wanna do major heists and get away with it, not just stick up robberies.
This game pisses me off so much with how much better it should have been. Swarms of heat seeking lawmen that come out of nowhere when trying to rob a train.
i just love how the bounty continues to raise as I slaughter the bounty hunters and lawmen that come after me. Their use of the force to communicate great suffering and voices disappearing at my hands is amazing.
UA-cam's payment algorithm has forced contributors to make a lot of fluff. What bothers me is how every webpage has to starts out with a high school essay. I just made cheesecake, and the recipe was only 1/5 of the page. The Internet is where everyone dumps their brain vomit.
Commander Bwarr it’s most likely because some people do this for a job and have no other source of income. I don’t blame them for wanting to make money
but there are only so many outfits so eventually you will get bounties regardless right? plus i like playing in one outfit but a lot of the time you just never know when you will get jumped by bandits and have to have a gun fight and then you still get bounties now in your favorite outfit so there is only so much this technique can work right?
Not exactly. They will remember one kind of outfit but once you change your outfit and commit a crime with that new outfit and get a bounty, they would simply forget the old outfit and remember the new one you just commit a crime with. They can only recognize one kind of outfit at a time.
Thanks for this video, it helps makes sense out of a system that initially might look random or unfair and puts it within a proper framework of quasi-realism. It's a system that keeps the tension in the game while rewarding a thinking play-style...unless of course a player wants to be the nefarious outlaw type :)
There's just no way around it: the bounty system in RDR2 is completely broken. Police materialize out of nowhere in the middle of the wilderness and can see through masks. It feels more like a futuristic, dystopian surveillance state than an accurate recreation of the Wild West. How Rockstar thought this was acceptable game design is beyond me. Usually, they attempt to strike a balance between realism and enjoyment. The Bounty system is neither.
@@shraniken "Right. Otherwise, it would be far too trivial." Who cares I'd rather a trivial system like GTA V than a broken one, wearing a full mask with brand new clothes robbing a train will still get a bounty with the law knowing it was you, it's a fucking joke of a mechanic.

Some helpful tips thank you for sharing. I’m surprised you never mentioned the tip regarding removing a bounty by going into a police station antagonising an officer to the point of arrest and then surrender. This results in having your bounty removed after a short arrest video. My understanding is you loose money by doing this but not if you spend it prior or deposit into your camps funds. Something I am doing early into the game which is saving me from having to pay off my bounty. I’m not sure how this will affect you later in the game.
I love how realistic this game is. Crimes get reported instantly and the law shows up almost just as instantly. Such realism. Much wow. Even though, in reality, the process took literally days....

I have 13,000 dollars in Chapter 2 with 30 percent of the chapter completed. I don't care about money now, there is Nothing to buy in this game. Very bad game design. This is something Mods for PC could Fix if only Rockstar allowed such mods but they do Not.

I was really hoping for a fight club of some sort (like the Witcher) or random bar fights that sometimes are unprovoked by the player (not encounters that begin as soon as you approach a bar). I thoroughly enjoy hand to hand combat with NPCs at times. Even when they pull melee weapons, doesn’t seem unbalanced and those connected hits are really rewarding. I however don’t like the idea it’s sometimes okay and sometimes not okay to fisticuffs. I’m always trying to give hands at all times before pulling a gun.
Thanks for the video! Now can you explain honor system? Always when you do a bad thing you get dishonored? Even if you are alone or with someone near by? Thanks a lot :)
That's cuz it's your personal honor, not just what people think of you. It's about what choices you make even if there's no consequences or nobody else around to see.
It depends on who u hit for example, if u attacked an innocent man walking about the streets u would get dishonoured but if u attack a member of the KKK out in the wild u actually get honored. Same goes wiv other criminals and gang members u might attack
@@KR-bn4bg If it is personal honor, why do the prices in stores vary according to what your honor is, good or bad ?? And why does the game tell you that honor makes people react to you differently ???
@@TheBatDERP well 1 it's a game so you're gonna have to use your imagination just a little bit. But also think about it this way, if you're not honorable, you're also gonna be a dick to people so yeah they're gonna treat you differently. If you're honorable and nice to others, the people around you respond to you in the same.
I started playing yesterday, and since i played GTA V before i figured that it is probably possible to rob a store. So i went into a saloon to rob it, didn’t put my mask on or anything, pulled out my gun, pointed it at the guy there and he literally said “we don’t allow guns in here” lmao
A thing i noticed; if i hide while robbing the store the people outside dont react (at least not as easy) to just the store clerk being robbed. the best place to do this in my experiacne is the gunstore in Saint Denis, behind the room dividers people from the window cant see you. it works to just crouch behind tall egough cover too but not as well.

Half the time if you're in an isolated area and shoot someone, an NPC spawns magically behind you and is already at full gallop leaving the scene.
Johnny Vegas GTA V made me mad about that. You’d kill somebody in the middle of nowhere with a melee weapon or a suppressed weapon and they magically know you did it

That happened to me at the saint denise tailor yesterday. I immediately went back out the door and put both barrels of my sawn off in his back. The townsfolk were horrified but no bounty.

Mr Z3r0 I also hate how if you put on a bandanna while wearing a neckerchief you can’t switch back to the neckerchief.
My Favorite thing is when you go to get on your horse, then you jump on some random citizen instead and get a bounty
Just go to the lawmen and surrender. You spend like 10 seconds in jail, lose around $10, and come out with no bounty
Yea saint dennis cops will fuck you up there basically black water cops from rdr 1
Wait...there is an autopilot in cinematic mode?

This is stupid that policemen identified Arthur Morgan when wearing a mask ...
Well if you pass by in the same town wearing the same clothes and go back only wearing a mask, it's somehow you.
I'm pretty sure that works in real life too lol /s
@Thickerspartan he said that in the vid. I think the logic is that the law enforcers would be more aware if Arthur than the civillians. Think of it like if a friend of yours was wearing a mask. You would still recognise them because they would be the same size, shape and other traits and charecteristics that you would recognise.
It's definitely wonky but I think they put it in to prevent blatant abuse of the bounty system. It's there to serve as a balance for the player.
the middle schoolers are out here in full force tonight. Got all their homework done and just waiting for the next Fortnite match to start.
So my role playing was doing something. I had an outfit that I used while performing crimes. I also switch clothing very often. Lol
It's pretty stupid that the lawmen know you right away..
Kill Me Please I think it’s dumb too but your character has a $5000 bounty in the game from Blackwater so it makes sense
@@GamingWithGecko "Who's the one that robbed the bank and killed those people? Oh that guy with his entire face covered? That's fucking Arthur Morgan, I recognize him immediately!"

@@DovahKanye i kill many people in the road hide their bodie and get no bounty.. im pretty sure i can do the same with a train you must not have playing well... i heard so many critics about the bounty system and i NEVER had any problem with it. People blaming the game cuz theyre suck at playing it make me laugh lol
just literally 1 minute after robbing a store
Arthur @ 2:50 - hEy pArTnEr 😂😭
Arthur: *changes clothes* Civilian: I’ve never seen this man in my life.
The man I saw was wearing brown pants. This man is clearly wearing black pants.
Arthur: wears mask
Police: I know exactly who this man is..
Uhhhhhhhhh........
I bought stuff for 500,- and after that i robbed it .. and only get 30,- lol
Must've done a drop 😂
Well I mean obvioushy the shopkeeper would not put money in the cash register. Even though that's literally what it's for. While you werent looking "even though you stood in front of him, staring at him" he showed the money up his ass while you blinked because this is extremely detailed, realistic and a perfect game of the century.
You probably paid with credit
Barokai Rein god damm the npc’s must have huge assholes because I sold 3 gold bars and never got them back

So how did everyone die their fist time in this game? I got mauled by the legendary bear bc I only
Had the starting pistol
I got attacked on the road and when I used dead eye it unloaded all by bullets into their horse instead of the 3 guys.
I fell out off a moutain
The bounty system just sucks in general. I hope they add a patch that gives an option to turn it off. I do not mind the wanted portion, but the bounty part of it is just an annoyance.
orbitaldragon I swear !! Like the only reason I don’t want to play the game
It is true. Like GTA games in general :(
There is an option to not buy Rockstars trash, that works real well
The knife mechanics in this game are awesome. The executions with it are totally brutal. Definitely my favorite weapon to use.
PUNANI_SLAYER420 you will get to love them, looting them can be really rewarding
These bounty hunters are insane. They come out of nowhere in a group of 15
When you think about it,
You cant even divide your average bounty (mines between 40-60) between 15 people.....
I love this guy, so much better than bossftw, it’s not just some bullshit type “lemme get to 10 mins with a 1 min video” type shit
Those are good tips. I knew about the witness levels and how to get away while they are searching but had no idea changing clothes would do anything.
This game pisses me off so much with how much better it should have been. Swarms of heat seeking lawmen that come out of nowhere when trying to rob a train.
One thing that gets me is NPCs dont get in trouble for things..
I usually don't comment on videos but bro this is a very good video! Thanks!
Glad I could be of assistance! Glad to see you comment :D
been getting back into red dead recently, went immediately to TagBack. Keep the content up 🤙🏾
i just love how the bounty continues to raise as I slaughter the bounty hunters and lawmen that come after me. Their use of the force to communicate great suffering and voices disappearing at my hands is amazing.
Ever notice how every video related to video games is always 10 mins or longer these days? They really ramble and stall just for the money or what?
This is pretty straight to the point. But yes that’s basically what they do
UA-cam's payment algorithm has forced contributors to make a lot of fluff.
What bothers me is how every webpage has to starts out with a high school essay. I just made cheesecake, and the recipe was only 1/5 of the page. The Internet is where everyone dumps their brain vomit.
Yeah, UA-cam BS algorithm forces them to have at least 10 mins of footage.
Pretty much all youtubers are like lmao that's why I dont watch I just look at the comments then dip because the answer usually in the comments
Played through the whole game and didn’t know most of the stuff mentioned in this video. Thanks!
Agree. It has ruined the game
so, police will recognize arthur instantly whatever the close or mask on/off?
Right. Otherwise, it would be far too trivial.
@@shraniken "Right. Otherwise, it would be far too trivial."
Who cares I'd rather a trivial system like GTA V than a broken one, wearing a full mask with brand new clothes robbing a train will still get a bounty with the law knowing it was you, it's a fucking joke of a mechanic.
@@DovahKanye agreed. I don't give a fuck if a more realistic system is "trivial" why have masks at all if they do fuckall against lawmen?

Some helpful tips thank you for sharing. I’m surprised you never mentioned the tip regarding removing a bounty by going into a police station antagonising an officer to the point of arrest and then surrender. This results in having your bounty removed after a short arrest video. My understanding is you loose money by doing this but not if you spend it prior or deposit into your camps funds. Something I am doing early into the game which is saving me from having to pay off my bounty. I’m not sure how this will affect you later in the game.
This is grade A content. I always send this to friends who dont understand how it works.
Thank you I was wondering how in depth the system was and now I know.
Thank you so much for the help mister
Thanks. You are the only one who explain properly all this thing
I love how realistic this game is. Crimes get reported instantly and the law shows up almost just as instantly. Such realism. Much wow. Even though, in reality, the process took literally days....
Not to mention that a tiny bumbfuck town like valentine has 10 times more lawmen than citzens.
I remember i decided to save this mexican lady from the law...As i was riding away lawmen started appearing randomly from the road like some called them with a radio or something. They just kept popping up over and over and over until i died.
Most annoying is when you press L2 to focus on someone but don’t realize that your weapon is in your hand
Your series has been epically helpful to me for the new PC version of RDR2. Thanks!
Took me forever to figure out lawmen see through your mask and people remember your horse/ outfit. Goodness this game is intense lol.
once you figure out all the bounty stuff the game is much more enjoyable when robbing lol
TagBackTV lol was the opposite for me when I didn’t understand I just rode around with out much care, knowing all this I’m so self conscious about it drains a lot of the fun.
Samuel Musser no they don’t the games just broken
Am i the only one who has money flowing in without having to do dishonourable holdups?
I have 13,000 dollars in Chapter 2 with 30 percent of the chapter completed. I don't care about money now, there is Nothing to buy in this game. Very bad game design. This is something Mods for PC could Fix if only Rockstar allowed such mods but they do Not.
@@johnphoenix1822 yeah after the first bank robbery they give you like 2500 if you get all the safes.. I was like what the hell am I gonna do with all this money?
I didn't even know how to do robberies and hold ups till I started doing the bandit challenges so I had to learn how to do them. Just started in chapter 3..
Yeah! Nothing worth buying all shops have boring generic stuff etc!
How long will they remember. Is every piece of the outfit tainted?
you can reset it by comitting a crime in a different outfit. they seem to only remember the last outfit in the most recent bounty
I think all you have to do is change one piece of clothing shirt vest gloves hey maybe even suspenders lol
@@TagBackTv Thanks! I feel this is a worthy mention in the video somewhere with text if this comment doesn't get upvotes =)
Thank you, after all these years and just now discovering how that system works.
I got in trouble for “disturbing the peace” by greeting every single person in the market lol
Hate changing my outfit and putting on the cloth mask just to kill a person or two and they know it’s Arthur Morgan..
Thank you both!
Pretty informative. And answered every question I would've asked. Thanks for making this video, it helps a lot.
I started playing yesterday, and since i played GTA V before i figured that it is probably possible to rob a store. So i went into a saloon to rob it, didn’t put my mask on or anything, pulled out my gun, pointed it at the guy there and he literally said “we don’t allow guns in here” lmao
The vocal affectation of UA-cam personalities is a plague on the English language.
I hope you don't alter your speech that way in normal conversation.
@@martindonohue900 *cough cough* NoahJ *cough cough*
Most likely reading from a script. So....
that, and the fact they use the word "guys" twice in every sentence :P
You do realize that people have been altering their speech when addressing a large audience since the beginning of mankind, right?
The markiplier disease yes indeed
I mean you are an outlaw on the run, it’s more fun when bounty hunters with law dogs show up outta nowhere all the time messing your life up
True
Who here has also finished the game? No spoilers
I can't believe Jack dies of ligma.
Eat Me LOL
A thing i noticed; if i hide while robbing the store the people outside dont react (at least not as easy) to just the store clerk being robbed. the best place to do this in my experiacne is the gunstore in Saint Denis, behind the room dividers people from the window cant see you. it works to just crouch behind tall egough cover too but not as well.
Playing this game for first time and appreciate all the tips and videos
