Thank you for making this a very "practical," down-to-earth guide! I love making things, but I don't have the room or equipment to do more complicated projects, so this one is just right!
So glad you like it, thank you so much! I myself have very limited space, tools and budget, so i‘m happy to show what can be made with little resources :)
I LOVE your creativity! I think you are an amazing artist and your determination through making four bazillion books is inspiring! Keep it up, fellow miniaturist!
can you please make a list on what kind of materials you usually use for all your projects? I'm getting interested in all this miniature stuff but I don't know where to actually start
What a beautiful job! You are very talented, I look forward to seeing more of your projects. Thank you for creating a wonderful video. I truly enjoyed watching your process.
So amazing!!!! One idea that I have for this is to make a small feather quill and ink container (maybe put on top of the map?) I don’t know how you would get the feather other than from a very small bird though hahahaha
Oh thank you so much, i appreciate it! :) The white stuff you mentioned is thin but relatively firm cardboard. I think architects use it too and you should be able to find it in some craft shops or stores that sell architecture/model making material. (But normal cardboard should work fine too! I sometimes like to use old cereal boxes and they work just fine! :D)
Hey Katharina, I really love your work and your videos! Could you please do me a favor and tell me what the basic materials are that you use? Are there acrylic colors for instance? I would like to experiment myself a little, that’s why I’m asking. Thanks and keep up the great work! Greetings from Bremen!
Thank you so much! For the books, i used firm cardbord and small printed bookcovers that i glued onto the cardboard. Hope that helps - have a wonderful day!
Hello beautiful work congratulations .. !! I wanted to ask you do you create on a scale for the measurements or do you do it yourself depending on what you want to build.? I would like to try to do these things, I saw that online you can find images of the books to print in 1.12 scale but then I wouldn't know what measurements to make the whole landscape, a sofa a chair for example, staying on the size of those books =( so as not to make things too big or too small.. how do you behave.? Thanks =)
Omg I love all of the handwritten letters and sketches!! What a beautiful, personal touch.
Very talented. At the age of 58 I now started my miniature doll house. It's never to late😊

I certainly enjoyed this. Do you offer more detail on making the books? Specifically is that foam core or something else? Thanks.
Thank you so much! I printed out tiny book covers and wrapped them around firm cardboard (approximately 2mm thick)
@@katharinahandmade619 Thanks so much. I will be giving that a try - a change up from my usual popsicle sticks wrapped in chip board. cheers tk

Hi, can you please tell me which material you used for the build? Thank you! Amazing work by the way!
My toxic trait is that I believe i can make this
"You don't have to be a good electrician..." No, but being good with a fire extinguisher helps :P
