The "Five of the best young players in..." series is very interesting, and highly enjoyable. Looking forward to its continuation.
I hope they do Canada. They got some great young stars!
@@ThingsWithDave Jonathan David was in the Belgium video, and from what I know about him he is an exciting attacking player. It will be interesting to see if he moves to a team like Lille or Borrusia Monchengladbach and how well he can do in a quality team from one of the top five leagues.
too true this series is awesome I hope they keep it up
Highly agree! Please keep this going Tifo
And very helpful for your career mode (fifa reference)
everytime Tifo release "Five of the best young player"
Football manager gamers: Its a free real estate !
Cool
Not for japan though, the country is not in the game :(
Asin
@@faizmukti117 you can just download a database
I was thinking I will sign one of these players before watching the video and soon as i go to the comments i found this😂
The art in this series is so beautiful and has such fun themes it’s mesmerizing
The art quality seems to have improved a little since Tifo became part of the Athletic. I welcome that.
Good drinking game: Take a shot every time Joe says per 90 minutes!!
My blood alcohol level is now 1 lmao
You should add clubs that have a system where they fit in for every player.
Yes!
The in depth research from Tifo & The Athletic is nothing short of amazing. I'd love to see the same video format for some African COUNTRY if possible
Finding 5 best players in Japan would have required a hell lot of research and that's the best part of this channel , the depth they go in producing their exceptional videos.
Not that difficult bcoz J-league is a very popular league
@@RN-km3np well not so popular for me .
They re-write other peoples work and present it very well.
@@adityakumarjha8796 Because you are Indian
look at all these fkin posers here, bet you can't name three j-league manager without googling
That synth jam at the beginning tho
Shout out to the J Talk Podcast if anyone is interested in an English language pod about Japanese soccer! Great video as usual Tifo!
Could you send a link? I can't seem to find it
@@ji4332 thanks!
I usually search The J-Talk Podcast on Apple podcast app and it’s there. Good luck.
@@KurtHassler ahh thank you
This video is really interesting, especially the amount of depth that Tifo goes into. I honestly was expecting the likes of Kubo, doan, Tomiyasu, but this list was definitely a surprise! Thank you from japan!
It is players that play in the J-League, not Japanese players😅
When this series came out, wanted one made for the J League/Japan and I got what I wanted.
Few ideas for videos:
Top 5 young players in Croatia
Top 5 young players in England ( outside premier league)
Top 5 young players in USA
Who else has a messed up sleep schedule so they can watch all of these as soon as they come out?
I do but only intentionally. I'm usually done finishing What would you do on Tuesdays and Agents of Shield on Wednesday and wait a few minutes until the video comes out at 11 pm. 😅
The world doesn't revolve around the USA
The world doesn't revolve around the USA
@@matteomigliore1477 I don't see where that was implied.
We got Captain Tsubasa from Japan, which has inspired millions to play football. 🇯🇵
love the 80's synth background music
I hope this helps.

ELEVEN OTHER PLAYERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON.
Thank you!!
@@BY-sh6gt I'm glad I could help. 🙂
As a Japanese fan, Thank you focusing on Japanese talent. Awesome video.
I want just correct that last slide's 11 other player, Daiki Matsuoka’s team name is "Sagan Tosu", not "Sayan Tosu".
keita endo just joined union berlin last week guys
Four days ago. Too late to change this
I see. Cheers fr the info 😂
Wow, they got a good young player in Endo. Excited to see how his career goes
I’m sensing a “Sensible Transfers” series return soon
This was less stat-heavy than the Portuguese video, it's a lot easier to digest that info when you offer context, comparisons and observations rather than just reading raw stats for people who just watch the game without studying stats for a living
i’ve always found myself rooting for Japan every World Cup for some reason. They’re a team who can always give the top international sides some trouble
I was expecting Japanese talents, not literally players in J-League... Very impressive.
As a Japanese these are my favorite young talents too, especially Sugioka and Ao Tanaka. A shame we are not having Olympics now, where everyone here could have witnessed their quality
We saw Tanaka in the World Cup! Hope you were there to watch it
These videos are amazing. The research is so detailed and the presentation as well. Great job Tifo and The Athletic
Genuinely underappreciated and undervalued league, hope my club is taking notes and trying to be some of these guys over, as some of our guys are getting sold to Europe.
I like a lot Japanese soccer, it is cool the know more about young talents of J. League. Considering we don't have much access to it on TV or UA-cam.
Absolutely love this series! Great animation and I love the little details like the Portugal game card in the Belgium video and all the Japanese writing in this. Keep it up dudes!
Thats a bold list, i would recommend Real Japan 7 (RJ-7) Squad handpicked by coach Minato gamo.
Hino ryoma is my boy....but i heard he will.choose uruguay as the senior team....hope he stay
Yes, that Urabe boy is a beast, he would easily play in Europe right now
Only Urabe, Hino (who is not even japanese anymore) and Yumikura are useful
@@marioferreira6207 yea, there was also that Igawa guy but he left, what an idiot....
@@Nationalitalia well money change you....being the sole inheritor of big tofu company bring more money than being a football player
Loving this series!
Loving this series continue the great work
I love this series
Dude, you have put so much work on these. In behalf of all football fans, thank you.
Excellent work once more
there's no way 4:30 "Heihachi Electronics" isn't a nod at TEKKEN..... Right?!
Can’t wait for the best young players in Tuvalu episode
Really love the series! I'm pretty sure you already have videos planned out but I would like to see countries like Argentina, China, United States, South Korea, Ireland, Canada etc.
I wish you could do these for all the non top 5 leagues, I feel like I'm learning so much about new players
Excellents videos! Netherlands please 🤗
didn't recently move to the bundesliga, like week ago i believe. That shows that Tifo's scouting is very concrete.
Love ❤️ the Retrowave music 🎵!!!!
Love your videos man. Please do one on 5 young Mexican players 🇲🇽 here are some possible ones:
Eugenio Pizzuto: CM (18 years old) capitain the u17 national side at the last World Cup where they got to the final. Allegedly about to sign for Lille in France
Gerardo Arteaga: LB (21 years old) signed just days ago by Belgian side Genk.
JJ Macias: CF (20 yo) only Mexican under 20 to score more than 20 goals total in the Mexican league, not even chicharito or Jimenez.
Diego lainez: winger (20 y) just completed his first season with Betis after a move from Club America.
Love this new series!!! I mean, who doesn't love a hidden gem from outside the top 5 leagues? Please consider Mexico in the future .....Cesar Montes, JJ Macias, Roberto Alvarado just to name a few ;)
good video
Is there going to be an Argentina one?
I hope so. If I had to guess I'd say Adolfo Gaich, Thiago Almada and Gonzalo Maroni should be in there
@@applehack97 maybe Pedro De La Vega and Alvarez to
You guys should do some "Top 5 young players... one year on" videos next year
I was preparing a comment about Ayumu Seko, so I'm glad you covered him. I'm a Cerezo fan and been hyping him for a little while now and he's getting much more game time this season. Can see him fitting into a partnership wish someone who is more comfortable on the ball, much like Soyuncu and Evans at Leicester.
Just want to pop in and say I absolutely love this series
Can you do five of the best young players playing in Mexico ???? It would be a great video !! And I love the content
Coming
Big shout out to the Tifosi de la Atletico. I'm enjoying these scout report videos. One small suggestion I'd like to put forth, one that might make these videos just a tiny bit more engaging for people who play career mode on FIFA. With these youth prospects being scouted perhaps you could give a rating of their perceived ceiling in terms such as showing great potential (OVR 80-85), exciting prospect (OVR 86-90) and has potential to be special (OVR over 90). It's a very subjective thing so there won't be torches and pitchforks if a youth talent that shows flashes of brilliance and potential to become world class fails to live up to potential. In the last ten years there have been many Gai Assulins and Bojan Krkics that had the promise of becoming the next Messi but for one reason or another fell well short of that. But still it can make it exciting to know which talents could shine brightest based on objective things observed by the scouts.
Could you please do a "five of the best young players in Saudi Arabia" would be much appreciated. Great videos though! very well designed and detailed
You guys should do one on Jamaica. Would be hard but I could make the suggestions
Can you guys please do an episode on the best young players in Australia. We have some great players here in Australia that are quite underrated.
There definitely is quite a lot of young talents in the A-League. Liberato Cacace and Cameron Devlin would have to be among them, but who else would be among the most promising young talent in the league in your opinion?
Finnaly a list of top 5 players from Japan I always liked
As someone who doesn't have as much time to afford to viewing football outside of Dortmund and Liverpool the last few years due to work and family, this is very much appreciated. Particularly as a fan of the J League once upon a time ago having lived there for 8 months.
endo already got his European move (loaned to Union Berlin with an option to buy)
That song slaps hard! What's the name besides the music platform??
Best young players in Australia please!
I agree, could even sneak in some playing for the Wellington Phoenix. There is quite a few talented young players in the A-League at the moment too.
@@abovethehighground liberato cacace is going to be a world beater
@@shuntacheong6836 Definitely, he's great to watch play and is already a class left back. Will be interesting to see where he ends up playing in Europe next season, assuming a move goes through which looks likely now.
@@abovethehighground Very good for the A-League in general with sarpreet singh moving to bayern and I hope both can fill their potential
episode idea : best up and coming talents from asia/best talents from each asian country
I assume as you did Portugal and Belgium that the Netherlands will also be covered? Would be interesting to see which 5 you chose as there is quite a range.
Please do 5 best young players in Brazil and if you have done it do a part 2 so my FM save gets some quality
Loving this series! Can't wait till you arrive to the South American countries and their prospects.
Can you please do the Australian League?
Could you do Colombia next please 🇨🇴🙏🙏♥️♥️
🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴♥️♥️
That's a good idea 👍
Really hope to see one of these for Mexico in the future
Can you make a swiss super league video next?
Take a look at the Danish league next , players like Daramy, kudos, andersen and jonas wind are some of the finest coming through
Could you guys make a video on Blue Lock . I know it's a manga about football , but I would love to see a video about how the concept could work?
Need these lads to get good fifa cards for my japan team
Bro can you make a video on Yokohama Marinos tactical review
Can you do one on england or wales
Suggestion: 5 best young player from argentina/ brazil.. pls :)
Song is “Cold as Ice” by Particle House if anyone was as curious as I was 😂
Looking forward to the Brazil episode
Re: the vid itself. Keita Endo I knew of and had suggested Liverpool a few months back look at for as a bargain basement option to Endo. Hopefully he does well for Berlin.
Would be interested to hear the opinions on Ado Onaiwu and his frankly fading fortunes since his success at u-23’s level. He looked primed to reassert himself with a move to Yokohama F Marinos and secured a national team call up. I’ve been watching him for a few years.
I love how the Japanese play can’t wait to se how they play in the future
Please do Straya!
Could you do one on Ireland if possible
Do Nigeria next!!
Could possibly make this series even better by suggesting 1 or 2 clubs that the player would be able to fit into the style of play. For example ‘x’ player would fit into Werder Bremen because of his direct play style and work rate, and due to their current winger being in the twilight of their career, they’d be able to pick up a significant amount of minutes. Something along those lines idk
5 of the best young players from switzerland please. That will be interesting...
can you do players from southeast asia?
Can you do a video on Juventus under sarri
Can you please do the 5 best young players from Poland? There are some great talents there.
Next plz do South Africa
One year later:
Sugioka is still at Kashima Antlers
Tanaka is on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf
Keita Endo is at Union Berlin
Hashioka is on loan at Sint Truiden
Seko is still at Osaka
Pls make a video for 10 best young talented players of Brazil
Do the next on Brasil
Would Sugioka be a good option for PSV Eindhoven? They already have another Japanese player in Ritsu Doan and they are looking for a leftback after having failed to truly replace Angelino last season.
Where do they get the stats from? Great videos
Wyscout
Tanaka seems perfect to Man Utd since one of the squad biggest problems is to build from the back when faces high pressure
Would like one for Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay
Can you please do this for the a league
Please do five best young players in South Korea or China! Its always interesting to see what Asian players have to offer.
Make a video with denmark
love japanese players.. they are so good technically..
just lack of physicality can be a problem..
Please do Sweden next
And that's more than 5 things learnt!
Do brazil next please
Can you do one for Romania?
Finding my new Football Manager wonderkids here, thanks!
Nvm none of these players exist in FM :/
