When I was in hikes school, I had a Walkman with the Nirvana Incesticide cassette tape in it.
I listened to this album every time I mowed the lawn. Usually by the time "Big Long Now" came on, I was almost about done mowing the front and back yards. I didn't use my Discman because the CDs would always skip (despite anti-skip protection) when mowing. This album became the soundtrack for so many sweltering summer Saturdays.
I still have the original cassette tape, but I will throw this album on Spotify while mowing the lawn to relive my youth.
I am now all grown up and making my own Nirvana-inspired music with my band Wirerims. If you read this far, check us out.
Awesome stuff this is my favorite Nirvana song off incesticide. So powerful in that chorus...such a great song and lyrics. Thank you so much alot of people never give this song the credit it's deserved. Have a great day and thank you again for posting my favorite song.
This song is definitely my favourite nirvana song
Ahh yes big long now, One of my favorites from Incestiside, gotta love this album.

This was on repeat when I was in 7th grade. It's definitely an underrated song.

Yea I agree its underrated
Fkin' Great song and yes Very underrated.
And please, take a look on "Hairspray Queen". The "tempo" at the beginning of the song is fascinating!
Another great song! Alot of people forgot about this album and how many great songs were on it. Even though it was a n album of B-sides it was a great album.
@@johnbest1978 Aneurysm is an anthem on this album, for me.
@@Stancanelli Hell yea! I've been a Nirvana fan since 1989 when Bleach released and when Incesticide came out I was really blown away by every song on that album. Most were Nirvana's strangest but greatest songs.
I was your mine you were mine mine me you were mine.....just great lyrics. And kurt screaming it in his Bobcat Goldwaith type voice as we all called it growing up. On the With The Lights Out Boxed set on the DVD they have footage from 87 when the rehearsed upstairs ubove Krist's mom's hair salon.
@@johnbest1978 Me too! Contemporary Nirvana fan since the early 90s (I'm from Argentina, and Nirvana was here later).
I still listen to Nirvana and I'm grateful to have witnessed such a band, and movement, that Nirvana, and Kurt Cobain, led in that times!!!
Not underrated by me! I was a huge fan of this song when this album came out!!
