This is the exact bike I’m looking to get finally got my license renewed with a new pic yesterday and have been waiting for someone to review it just got to book my cbt now and pick one up this was a good video
Hi Gilly I’m waiting to test ride the Keeway 302 v-twin, due at the end of August hopefully. My Superlight got me right back into biking again, after 50 years of just driving a car. Great channel, - thank you!
I find it amazing that the 125 cruiser market in the UK is so poor! I mean, none of the Japanese guys even offer a new 125 cruiser! Sports bikes get all the love and cruiser-style bikes get underpowered 11bhp machines. I wonder why 125 manufacturers make 10bhp bikes when the limit is over 14...
I actually do want to buy a brand new 125...if the Yamaha XSR 125 had a feet-forward riding style, I'd buy it! For now, it will almost certainly be the RKV125 and then the Meteor 350 great vid.
Thanks for the review bud - seriously considering this as my "back to biking" purchase. Let us know what are the real differences between this and the Keeway Benda Vcruise 125 if you get the opportunity. Cheers brother. 👍
@@GillyBikes - Thanks bud, I'm aware of the obvious like a slightly different rear mudguard and light assembly, different side panels, a small cowl/fairing on the headlight, back shocks are blaked out and the handlebars seem flatter and lower but I'm looking to find out if the engine is any different at all & is the UK version belt drive or chain? Reason being, it's being priced at £1200 more than the RKV! Speak soon bro! 👍
I would have loved one of these when I was younger. The youth of today have so many more choices and yet not many are learning to ride. It’s such a shame.
I actually have this bike and she's a beauty rides beautifully and the sound I live the purr it has rather than a scream like most 125s so chuffed with it
They are a brand new model so only time will tell on that but they look like they are well built. They look like more of a premium bike compared to others I’ve seen from Keeway. I’ve only heard good things about this bike.
ive had my k light for 1 year now, it was second hand but i got a dodgey deal it came with issues but i have to admit, it runs like a dream , nice chunky wheels i found on the keeways, you feel strong on the road, the parts are nice and cheap but i've found for the price they are well made, i will always recommend a keeway for a beginner for sure, get a better bike once you have done mod 1 & 2 or DAS. imo if you need to know or wanan see my bike im happy sending vids or pic, let me know :) ridesafe!
@@callmetats3601 Cool. The more I look into riding generally this bike keeps coming up. Almost like the universe is trying to tell me something... Only thing I'm concerned about really is if it holds its value later when I may want to sell it to pay for my first big bike - if I go that far of course. Would be cool to see your bike. Maybe you could put some footage on your channel? First training session is this saturday morning. 😁
I always think cruisers are faster, and stay more comfortable at highways, due to lower height, and better aerodynamics. I do not know If I am wrong, but driving them is way more comfortable and easier. My favourite type of bikes.
They are my favourite as well. I wouldn’t say they were the quickest. In fact I would probably say they were the slowest, but that’s the point. On these types of bikes you don’t need to ride fast. You just cruise around feeling comfortable and awesome.
Its in dead light , must have been filmed in the solstace , direct overhead noon sun , worst time for a shoot guys i like little cruisers the old daystar 125s pushed 85 mph with an extra tooth on the front cog stretched your gearing out a treat
They are good for what they are. Which is a very cheap way into biking. They look much bigger than a 125 as well I’ve done a review on one, all be it, it was in the early days of me doing these reviews ua-cam.com/video/nc6BKY_wA-I/v-deo.htmlsi=cd10__AS-u7yw3U4
@@nyx8995 I can't tell you what speed you'll get, I don't own one. What I would say is this isn't a bike that's supposed to go fast, if that's what you really want there are 125s that will do 70mph.
Great looking bike yes, but venture outside of 40mph roads and....not so good. Uphill dual carriageway takes forever to get to 50. 55? Forget it. Becoming an obstacle for HGV is embarrassing if not terrifying.
I don't care how it looks...unless it goes up to at least 80 mph...not 67 or 68...which means you can cruise only at 55 mph. I am not a chinese dull boy with 60 kilos. A man 6'2" and 200 pounds will never go with this toy over 68 mph. This is rediculous! Everybody in our country remake it hardly...they chip and mechaniclly transform it into at least into 17-18 hp...to go at least 80-82 mph...to be just worth to drive. Otherwise it is useless...you can buy a 32 kg all wheel drive scooter with a seat which goes 40 mph...and you can put it folded into a simple car boot, you can drive pavement and you don't care on a storage issues. A bike less than 11 kw or 15 hp is useless! And I am talking only about 125cc
In the uk a 125cc bike is mainly used by learners because it’s the maximum they can ride. Not many of them can go over 70mph. Most can do 60mph. Then you have people who use them for riding around towns. When the speed limit is 20 or 30 Mph you don’t need a 1000cc bike.
It s illegal to go over about 60 mph in most european countries(even on a freeway) that let you drive before the age of 18, which is what the 125 bikes are mainly used for

Thank you I appreciate that. If you’re in the uk definitely contact @in2moto they seem to have great deals on everything at the moment.

Thanks Phil. The 302 really does look like the RV. With the extra power is should be a great bike. I’m looking forward to having a go on one myself.

Great choice. 👍
Because young people don't appreciate cruisers
But they should!
Maybe thats a good thing as they're less likely to be targeted by the thievery brigade, which in the main are young neds 13-25yr olds.
Lovely looking bike.Andre.
It really is isn’t it. 😍
That’s a great looking bike. ❤
It sure is. You need to get on your bike again. This would be a great one to get you back out there.

How good is it for taller people (i am 185 cm or about 6 foot to 6'1)
What an awesome bike to learn how to ride on 😎

Im looking forward to buy one but are they reliable?

I've had one since March, and it's the best 125cc I've ever owned. It really gave me confidence as a rider to move up and get my DAS started .
That’s good to here. That’s how I was feeling when I rode it.
take care of your bike, no rust no problem,
Referring to the engine revving lazy , the exhaust & euro 5 lean mixture is the cause of that .
Fantastic bike amazing looking!!!!!!untill you need parts!
Always good to have a warranty then 👍
Going for my first bike training session in two weeks. This brand is really tempting even though I've been strongly warned off Chinese makes.
When I was buying my first bike everyone told me to avoid buying Italian bikes. I never bought the Ducati I wanted. Stupid decision looking back.

Can you get a windscreen and a back box for this bike
I’ve seen them with aftermarket screens and rear racks on. Have a quick google. There seems to be quite a few different screen options.

what 125 would you recommend that has some wind protection
I really love this bike. If I was buying a 125 now I would get one of these and add wind protection to it.
Thanks for replying
No problem mate. Ride safe.
A Superlight every time Gerry, I love mine and use it every day.

Only time will tell.

Whats the top speed?
Quoted top speed is 100kmph
Rider weight and even the amount of fuel in the bike make a massive difference. I don't think there's any guarantee you'll get it over 60mph

Well made compared to previous from Keeway that I’ve seen. If it was made from chocolate I would have eaten it 😉🤣

60 65mph on incline roads
60mph you would be fine. I’m not sure about 70.
