I was confortable riding alone on the road after a few sessions of training by myself! The bike hasn't failed me once, it's super soft on the shifting, it's suprisingly strong on the gears, i have not yet let it "die", even when i was sure it was gonna die on some occasions, the bike held it's ground. I've also never dropped it because my feet are straight on the floor. I hadn't bought a 125 yet because i didn't like the typical 125's on the market, i wanted to learn to ride on the safest option, and aesthetics were also a condition for me 🤣. The issue is, as he said, it's a bit expensive , in Portugal you'll pay around 5100 euros for a brand new one. I got a bit less because i managed to get it seconhand with little more of 3000km on it (the first owner didn't adjust very well to the bike). But honestly i think it's more important to think about your safety than money if you're planning on getting a bike. I've seen friends getting cheaper light weight bikes like the Bullit Spirit 125, and they ended up falling alot, sometimes because the bike didn't held itself for their level of skill. Meanwhile i've ridden mine in the rain (accidently i didn't know it was gonna rain😅), as well as through really strong winds, and i was amazed by it's stability. Thanks for awesome info n review, going to buy this bike, my last bike was suzuki Gsxr 1000 2012, and now i lost my A license here in italy, now i can only ride 50cc maximum 125cc
Just want to say thanks for the review and all the great comments on here. I've just got back from the dealer and will be picking up my new V-Cruise in 5 days time and I can't wait. I'm from the UK but have lived over here in Spain, near Malaga, for 6 years. Was never into bikes in England, although I was part way through learning when we left, and I absolutely love riding now. We can ride a 125 here on a car licence without plates and as the bike tests are the only ones here that have to be taken in Spanish (nobody can tell me why that is and my written Spanish is still a work in progress) I'm hoping this bike will satisfy my needs. I had an old (failing) Kawasaki Eliminator before this and I can't wait to get out on the great (and quiet) roads here. With the current exchange rate at 1.17 I paid a few quid over £4000 here, brand new, all in!
@@GillyBikes exactly as the one you reviewed. Bit of an impulse but we’d picked my wife up a bike from the same place a few years back and I was familiar with its older siblings. I saw this and knew it was the one.

Four and a half grand for a 125cc bike is very expensive for a budget bike. I have a Royal Enfield Meteor in supernova trim and that was just over four grand for a 350 and it is a lot of bike for the money. I am very satisfied with my purchase and it compliments my RE Classic 500 which by the way was a similar price to the 125 you have there.
I do understand that it’s not cheap in comparison to other cheap bikes. The RKV from keeway is £1000 cheaper and the Superlight is £2000 cheaper. But I think that is the point Keeway are making with this bike. I don’t think it’s a Budget bike. I think it’s Keeway upping there game and making a more premium bike. The Royal Enfields are brilliant. All of their 350’s are unbelievable value as are their bigger bikes.
I managed to get mine but only because the importers had to hunt one down that wasnt allocated, as the dealer had already promised one. If anyone is looking to get one in the UK, next shipment sounds like itll be October

Was thinking about this bike as i have rkf 125 but dealer dont let me know valve clerance data so my next bike will be one with decent customer service
now that it has been a year down the line, do you know much about how these hold up after a couple thousand miles on them? this and the rk v125c are absolutely gorgeous. i just cannot get the negative comments out my head that they have lots of problems and are hard to get hold of parts!
The best place to go is where all the owners are. Lots of Facebook pages for the owners. I’ve managed to have a go on a well used one. This is my video about that ua-cam.com/video/ViZNXNHga1o/v-deo.htmlsi=JeQj_Hy7e3k7TEaX
As much as i want one, i wouldn't say it's cheap. Since they're still very new (as in less than a year), you aren't finding many, if any second hand, and if you want one new, it'll cost over 4k.
This has that drag bike vibe. Mean rear fender and semi frenched light but what were they thinking with the lower indicator bar. Horrid. A chunky plain bar would have at least been better, I would cut an inch or so off that fender and fit a wider tyre if possible. Bar end mirrors would work better with slightly bent in arms. Some diamond stitching would have been a welcome addition to the upper seat. Great short front fender. There are some great design touches here. It looks to me like the janitor had a hand it because some of it looks incongruent. I'm tempted but would have a fair list of custom changes. This could be the best looking 125 cruiser/drag bike around.
They are a very good starting point for some custom work. It’s usually the Euro compliance stuff that ruins the looks over here. Personally I don’t mind the looks. But I would definitely change the exhaust to beef it up a bit.
@@GillyBikes Subjective stuff. Yes, loud bikes can save life's. I like to be heard before I'm seen. No complaint with the look of that exhaust, just throw a hand grenade it. @@GillyBikes Yeah but for anyone who has the CBT & just wants a run-around cheap tax I might buy it just to nip downtown or a run round in the summer it's just right🙂
@cliveosborne8195 they are brilliant to be fair. They are my favourite 125’s. I really love the looks. If you have your licence though the 302 version gets my vote. Pretty much identical to look at but the extra power makes it better for the faster roads.
I am impressed, V-Twin, just 125 CC with14hp, but for Chinese make, I wonder after service. Though it's made for international market, should I mention that Chinese govt. have banned use of all types of motorcycles in Chinese cities.
A Warrington lad....got to be good....not a bike I would buy at this moment in time.....but for the price....WOW. Dont like those mirrors.....but the bike in general looks great....I am a chrome man myself....but whats not to like. Ride on.
These retail in ireland for around €4600 brand new and for an extra €1400 you can buy a v302c and it's a shame cos for that little bit extra I'd just go for the bigger engine. It's a big ask for a 125cc.
Looks amazing but only 1 thing that rubs me the wrong way…looks like it has small pocks or something with all those silver bolts and screws. They should have colour coded them.
There is a big difference in price but the quality shows. Also if you compare this to the bikes Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM and others are putting out this is still great value and I would buy this over any of them. It’s really that good.
Just seen one in a Royal Enfield dealership I've been to look at some bikes for me and the wife saw this and had a sit on. She's a short arse and could comfortably flat foot. Might be looking at one for her once I have my Enfield :D
@@GillyBikes not 100% yet, looking at a few - the wife still things I should get a Triumph speedmaster or Tiger, as she doesn't think the REs will have the oomph I would normally want being a big lad, but to be honest my er6 is enough for me now, who knows I might even commute on her v Cruise if I get her one :D
im looking at getting my first 125, what you recommend someone, whos 6'4 using it for work and some cruising, This or the Superlight 125 with the side bags?
If I was you I would go and sit on both. See which one is more comfortable for you. I would suspect that the superlight might be a better fit as physically it’s a bigger bike. Personally I love the vcruise. It’s a great looking bike. But for your first bike you need to feel comfortable with it. Go and throw your leg over a few. Let me know how it goes. 👍
It’s a brand new model so I don’t think anyone can answer that yet. The only thing I would say as this does appear to be very well made. It looks nice and ride’s really well, but it’s new to the market so it’s a bit of an unknown as to how this will perform after years and loads of miles. Only time will tell.
I’m taking an LXS out in a few days. Both very different bikes. Both capable of over 70mph. It’s all about the looks. Which style of bike do you prefer?
@GillyBikes Now I've just seen review on the Blue Suzuki 125cc. Question is now ....Lexmoto 125 or a big branded 125 such as Kawasaki ect. I'm drifting away from Cruiser ....
If you have the budget for a more expensive bike then that’s what you should get. You will get more back when you sell it on. You do get what you pay for. You should have a look at the MT125 by Yamaha they are great bikes. Surprisingly quick.
Brave words, went to a dealer of Chinese bikes yesterday and he is dropping one agency because he was dropped in it very seriously, the bike let down one buyer who just happened to be a lawyer and legal writs are flying around! Another brand, of electric bikes, made huge mistakes costing dealer and buyer big money so decided to stop trading and switched the brand name to another huge Chinese conglomerate - seriously Guys, there can be no trust whatsoever compared to traditional makes, 'Price isn't everything'!
I’m sure there would be. A new exhaust might get you a little more. To be fair though it’s not something I had an issue with. It’s faster than a lot of other 125’s I’ve been on. (Slower than a few as well) it sits in the middle on power but on looks it wins every time
@smattgoss, if its the same speed as the RKV125c ( bhp is same ) then It will have no problems keeping up with traffic . on duel carriageways either as mine keeps up. Gonna feel like u can't at first but after that 1500 km that will go away .
I’ve only seen brand new ones. The build quality looks very good. Much better than you would expect from Keeway. The v-cruise and the RKV are a massive step up from their previous bikes.
I would pick the V-Cruise. I thought long and hard this week about my favourite 125’s and the Vcruise is at the top. It’s not the fastest. But looks and the feeling you get when you ride it makes it top for me.
I bet it will still go 'off' far sooner than a Japanese bike. They all look good new but the material quality lets them down. 18 months and through a British winter and it would look right scabby.
They look better than anything produced by keeway before so hopefully you’re wrong. But only time will tell. I will see you in 18 months hopefully I can get hold of one and see how a long British winter has treated it.
It should be fine. They look bigger than a 125 but if I were you I would finder a dealership selling them and go and sit on one. Make sure you feel comfortable
This is the Ultimate chill Date bike...it forces your lady to hang on to you as close as posible. In the U.S. believe it or not sells custom pillion seat which have variable "vibrate" mode😂
Sorry to ask but is anyone able to find an aftermarket exhaust for this bike ? I love the look of it but I’d want a louder and better looking exhaust if possible, thanks.
I suppose that this bike must be aimed at the Learner Market. That said, such a Learner would probably want to progress onto something bigger, and I reckon that the Trade-in price for the Keeway will halve in a year! The only way it makes sense to buy one is as a Keeper, and then I wonder about the mechanical stamina of the bike. As an experienced biker, though £4.5k would get me a decent 5vy R1!
This is no ordinary Keeway. It’s much better than anything else they have ever made. It’s a 125 so is a learner bike but I think it is cool enough to entice experienced riders that are looking for either a lighter bike or a bike thats going to do 130mpg. So a massive saving on fuel. That’s about 3x more fuel efficient than the R1.
Pointless comment, if the CBT or A1 license holder want a faux sports bike, they wouldn't go for this. Likewise, there's no CBT, A1 or even A2 license holder that can ride an R1, as it's too powerful to be restricted. Again, the comment about mechanical stamina, shows a complete lack of understanding of current bikes from any of the QJ brands, or for tha matter CFMoto
the bar end mirrors are no good on any bike., i have one on my left as the other broke off. too small and chances of knocking them off are much higher with bulky gloves and if you dont knock them off you are constantly re adjusting when you bump them with your hand getting on and off.
Shame about that rubbish matt black exhaust, mild steel painted is bad, a coating on the exhaust like the RE meteor fireball is the best option especially for the UK weather, OK you won't have to polish it, but you will be spending time rubbing it down and heat painting the thing 😮

A Warrington lad....got to be good....not a bike I would buy at this moment in time.....but for the price....WOW.
Dont like those mirrors.....but the bike in general looks great....I am a chrome man myself....but whats not to like.
Ride on.
👍. I love chrome when it’s clean and shining. It’s just a lot of work to keep clean.
These retail in ireland for around €4600 brand new and for an extra €1400 you can buy a v302c and it's a shame cos for that little bit extra I'd just go for the bigger engine. It's a big ask for a 125cc.
Usually people go for 125 when they dont have A driving license
Or they want something that’s going to give you 120mpg!
I'm sure if you had an A2 license, then you would go for the 302, but on A1 you don't have that choice
Its absolutely worth the money
further to my comment below I now have a v cruise! A gorgeous little bike so pleased with it.
Great choice. Congrats on the new bike 😎
Beautiful, I might get one. I'm just not sure if it suits me well, I am 6'2(1,87cm) tall and ride alot of steep hills, does it has the strenght?
It pulls as good as any other 125cc. I absolutely love it
188cm
For starting withou any experience on a motorbike and long jouneys, do you reccomend it?
Absolutely. It would be perfect for a new rider. Gears and power delivery is really smooth. Very comfortable. It would be an amazing first bike.
@@GillyBikes thanks, i may buy it next year
Nice ride around Warrington
Yes. Very picturesque 😳
i hope this model will be release in the Philippines
It’s a great bike so I hope so to
it is the revised Romet rcr
I bought this motorcycle 1 month ago, it is the fastest way to waste money, the engine has broken before reaching 1000 km....
Wow really? What happened?
@@GillyBikes I don't know why a cylinder failed, the official workshop doesn't know why either and the brand hasn't responded I have It all recorded
That’s not good. I hope it’s a warranty claim then.
@@GillyBikes keeway are ignore me, my lawyer have work
Can you not just take it back to the place you bought it from?
Looks amazing but only 1 thing that rubs me the wrong way…looks like it has small pocks or something with all those silver bolts and screws. They should have colour coded them.
So many nice styling touches on this bike I never noticed them.
Bit disappointed that you did not film her starting up?
Still haven't jumped the pond.
I have one with 4000 km. Stills great. Great deal
Great to hear. I really like them. They look brilliant and nice to ride.
nice over 1000 pounds more rkv c same power pack, just few bit more, just looking today at thid bike 4600 pounds over price for this ,
There is a big difference in price but the quality shows. Also if you compare this to the bikes Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM and others are putting out this is still great value and I would buy this over any of them. It’s really that good.
Just watch out for transmission. Like to breaks after 5K miles
The passenger grab handle is the strap going over the seat you nearly touched it .
They always seem to be an afterthought. If they don’t have proper ones on the back or the sides I mention it.
Would you really take someone on the back of a 125 tho
Not really, but should a small journey be required it’s nice to know you can.
I'm in a dilemma for this bike or the Zontes 125 C cruiser. The Zontes should be a bit faster.
The Zontes is a nice bike but I don’t know many dealers that sell them.
@@GillyBikes I have a dealer not far away from me. I live in Belgium. I can't find a dealer for Keeway close enough.
@GentielioGaming then you have your answer. 👍😎
@@GillyBikes I think so. Just came across Renegade bikes and they look very good indeed but even lower on power.
I am looking to buy in lanzarote but could you help me as the v cruise is a chained drive help tom
The RKV is chain drive the Vcruise is a belt drive. Think of it as a mini Harley. 👍
Just seen one in a Royal Enfield dealership I've been to look at some bikes for me and the wife saw this and had a sit on. She's a short arse and could comfortably flat foot. Might be looking at one for her once I have my Enfield :D
Perfect for shorter riders. Which Enfield are you getting?
@@GillyBikes not 100% yet, looking at a few - the wife still things I should get a Triumph speedmaster or Tiger, as she doesn't think the REs will have the oomph I would normally want being a big lad, but to be honest my er6 is enough for me now, who knows I might even commute on her v Cruise if I get her one :D
I think the 300cc is coming to the UK, which will be interesting
You should definitely have a look at the super Meteor for yourself. That bike is gorgeous and quite cheap. It’s a lot of bike for the money.
@tartancobbler7242 they are taking orders on them now. I can’t wait to have a go on one.
im looking at getting my first 125, what you recommend someone, whos 6'4 using it for work and some cruising, This or the Superlight 125 with the side bags?
If I was you I would go and sit on both. See which one is more comfortable for you. I would suspect that the superlight might be a better fit as physically it’s a bigger bike. Personally I love the vcruise. It’s a great looking bike. But for your first bike you need to feel comfortable with it. Go and throw your leg over a few. Let me know how it goes. 👍
It looks fantastic for the money
What about reliability? I come from a 100k rebel, looking for a cheaper 125 but has to be safe and grind those miles
It’s a brand new model so I don’t think anyone can answer that yet. The only thing I would say as this does appear to be very well made. It looks nice and ride’s really well, but it’s new to the market so it’s a bit of an unknown as to how this will perform after years and loads of miles. Only time will tell.
Sports 125cc v cruiser 125cc as first bike as im tempted by the Lexmoto LXS
I’m taking an LXS out in a few days. Both very different bikes. Both capable of over 70mph. It’s all about the looks. Which style of bike do you prefer?
@GillyBikes
Unfortunately...
Both...
Struggling to decide although I'm pushing toward the Neon and Gray LXS as it's looking fabulous 👌
@thunderchild2237 they do look good.
@GillyBikes
Now I've just seen review on the Blue Suzuki 125cc.
Surprisingly quick.
mine was delivered today and the postman queried about it and didn't believe me when i said it's a 125cc....
Happy new bike day 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Keeway just have a 300cc variant out here in Indian market.
We have the 300 in England too. I’ve not seen any on the road though. 125’s are the learner bikes here so they sell loads of them.
True, as a matter of fact this 125 looks just as humongous as the 300, hence a great pick for the grip and enjoyment 👌🏻
@shahminhajuddin side by side they look identical
they also make a 300cc for another £400
They do and I can’t wait to try one.
@@GillyBikes I Cant wait for that review!! Everything you could want from a big cruiser with all the benefits of a small capacity machine. Win Win
Absolutely. I just need MotoGB to borrow me one 🤞
Damn. Now i really wanna get a UK license 😭
👍 and it would be worth it!
To be honest the bike looks like it was designed by someone into S&M the black looks ok but the silver bolts make it look like a gimp suit.
😂 I nearly spat my coffee out reading that. Now I won’t be able to look at them without hearing “BRING OUT THE GIMP”
I disagree. Not all brands are the same. With MotoGb as the importer you are fine with these.
@@GillyBikes Well, two of the brands are in that stable!!!
Didn't Royal Enfield cut ties with MotoGb after problems?@@GillyBikes
Nice looking bike 😮
These really are good looking bikes.
Is there anyway to get those last few horses out of it to get it to the 15bhp
I’m sure there would be. A new exhaust might get you a little more. To be fair though it’s not something I had an issue with. It’s faster than a lot of other 125’s I’ve been on. (Slower than a few as well) it sits in the middle on power but on looks it wins every time
@@GillyBikes so it keeps up with town traffic ok your not going to hold up traffic
No it’s good. It gets to the speed limit quickly. Im sure it will cruise all day at 60mph.
@smattgoss, if its the same speed as the RKV125c ( bhp is same ) then It will have no problems keeping up with traffic . on duel carriageways either as mine keeps up. Gonna feel like u can't at first but after that 1500 km that will go away .
Are the engines any good seen some people saying they called already
whats build quality like does it go rusty 5 mins out of the show room?
I’ve only seen brand new ones. The build quality looks very good. Much better than you would expect from Keeway. The v-cruise and the RKV are a massive step up from their previous bikes.
Please lets have this bike in Denmark!
If not you will have to buy one over here and ride it back 😍
This vs the Yamaha xsr 125 legacy?
I would pick the V-Cruise. I thought long and hard this week about my favourite 125’s and the Vcruise is at the top. It’s not the fastest. But looks and the feeling you get when you ride it makes it top for me.
I bet it will still go 'off' far sooner than a Japanese bike. They all look good new but the material quality lets them down. 18 months and through a British winter and it would look right scabby.
They look better than anything produced by keeway before so hopefully you’re wrong. But only time will tell. I will see you in 18 months hopefully I can get hold of one and see how a long British winter has treated it.
Great review! Do you think it's a good bike for a long comute (70km)?
They are comfortable so yes. 👍
Guys! Where do I get one?? Looked everywhere! Help would be appreciated . Thanks
Depends on where you live in the uk then www.in2moto.co.uk/new-bikes/bike/2024-keeway-v-cruise-125cc-1291
Are these good for 6-foot guys?
I always feel small on ultra-low seats
It should be fine. They look bigger than a 125 but if I were you I would finder a dealership selling them and go and sit on one. Make sure you feel comfortable
This is the Ultimate chill Date bike...it forces your lady to hang on to you as close as posible. In the U.S. believe it or not sells custom pillion seat which have variable "vibrate" mode😂
Perfect date. Set vibrate to full power 😂
is it keyless
Sorry to ask but is anyone able to find an aftermarket exhaust for this bike ? I love the look of it but I’d want a louder and better looking exhaust if possible, thanks.
eBay
Need one👌♥️
Treat yourself 😎
Which price in india
Hi! Is not having ABS in that price range a problem ?
It has CBS, but to be fair the breaks work really well. I did a few emergency stops with it and it stopped nicely with no dramas.
alright, thanks! I saw some comments regarding that (not from this video's comment section) saying that for the price it should have abs @@GillyBikes
I see. To be honest as their flag ship 125 I would have expect it as well.
C'est vraiment une belle 125 ! (voyez, voila 😜)
Can you send me me the link to order?
I'm in the Philippines
Is it me or they look like the Harley Davidson sportster?
They really do. Just a mini version
Is the saddle only for one person?
It has a small rear seat.
Top speed will it rsach 70 mph
I never did it, but according to the figures it will do 75mph.
That exhaust , theres a guy on here with twin pipes on sound great
Yes I’ve seen that. Sounds amazing
@@GillyBikesi just got the bike 2 days ago do you know where i could find that after market exhaust?
I suppose that this bike must be aimed at the Learner Market.
That said, such a Learner would probably want to progress onto something bigger, and I reckon that the Trade-in price for the Keeway will halve in a year!
The only way it makes sense to buy one is as a Keeper, and then I wonder about the mechanical stamina of the bike.
As an experienced biker,though £4.5k would get me a decent 5vy R1!
@@GillyBikes I suppose they might make a good commuter bike.
I wouldn't have an R1 for the mpg!😁
I love the MT10. They are rubbish for the MPG but what a bike.
Would this be OK for a 19 stone guy?
I was 17 stone when I did this and there was no issues at all. I can’t see it being a problem.
@@GillyBikes thank you very much
my guy look at the keeway dark flag it is a mean looking bike
It really is a great looking bike 😎
can i ride this with 196cm height?
I don’t see why not. Best advice is go and sit on one.
Isnt it simply a benda 125 avengers.
It is known by other names in other countries
is it fit for couple??
I’ve never had anyone on the back of one. It’s a 125 so the extra weight of a pillion will affect its performance I’m sure.
Is it a manual or automatic?
This is a manual.
So let me see if I got this right, you can't see the mirror without moving your arms 🙄 not a great idea for a learner machine ya think
The mirrors are tiny. They suit the bike. But bigger would be better for very new riders.
@@GillyBikes definitely agreed 👍🏻
the bar end mirrors are no good on any bike., i have one on my left as the other broke off.
too small and chances of knocking them off are much higher with bulky gloves and if you dont knock them off you are constantly re adjusting when you bump them with your hand getting on and off.
Personally I’ve never had that problem and I think they look nicer, but that’s a personal thing. Are you changing your mirrors?
how much this cost
Around £4,500 in the uk
Shame about that rubbish matt black exhaust, mild steel painted is bad, a coating on the exhaust like the RE meteor fireball is the best option especially for the UK weather, OK you won't have to polish it, but you will be spending time rubbing it down and heat painting the thing 😮
A great commuter
Absolutely. Over 100 mpg!
Lively bike !
Great bike 👍
