Anakin brings the 501st legion to execute the purge Knightfall on the Jedi Temple and execute Order 66. This was from the awesome revenge of the sith video game that came out in 2005!

Nah not officially. He was only there because he was appointed by Palpatine as a spy to create discord between Anakin and the Council.
Because the Council didn’t allow him the rank of Master, it’s their way of saying Anakin is not a true member of the Council.
It’s as if in that scene Jocasta Nu was insulting Anakin by saying that the Council can authorize access, as if leaving him out on purpose.

Actually, in og bf 2 there is missio knightfall in campaign. You are clone and you are executing order 66. You also get to play Anakin later.
But you have to play most of the campaign before that mission. But, it has one of the best star wars campaigns, so I think it really doesn't matter.

This performance is pretty much spot on with Anakin’s character in the prequels

Man the ROTS game was awesome. Some parts, I actually prefer to the movie, for example, Mace fighting Anakin, the Clone Assassin Troopers fighting Obi-Wan and Jedi Padawans, Cin Drallig doing an actual Dual with Vader...

Cin Drallig vs Vader has a cameo in the movie. Actually in that scene you can see Anakin hits a knight so hard the lightsaber flies off her hands. It was badass.

I realize the dialogue is pretty painful but one thing I loved was how tormented Anakin sounds at 2:35 it really sounds like he's completely fed up with being looked down upon by the Jedi and finally has the power and the will to knock them down a peg or two.

For those who care: The RoTS PS2/XBOX game is technically part of the “Legends” EU, as opposed to the “Disney Canon” EU. As such, the events depicted here are no longer canon. The biggest difference is that Jocasta Nu (the librarian lady) is not killed by Vader in the temple in the current canon. Well, she is, but a few years later, after she returns to the temple to retrieve something. Beyond that, most of this either holds true in the current canon, or simply hasn’t yet been mentioned, given that the new canon is only six and a half years old.
I didn't realize this game's events were canon to the legends continuity.
