Question of the Day 💡Do you record videos outside? If so, have you used a light outside?
Check Out Our Favorite Outdoor Light, the GVM SD600 - gvmled.com/sd600d-exp/?aff=102
Thank you for this tip. I'd love to shoot videos outside; however I have a problem with the wind noise. What will be the solution to someone with a SonyA6000 camera or just any other camera? Thank you :)
These videos makes our days better
Wow thanks for these tips, I totally had this all wrong, always thought it's best to record in the sunlight, I'll make sure to get the reflector sand additional stands to hold the diffuser.
Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to press record.
I don't make videos and I don't need to but I still LIKE these videos. You guys are awesome. :)
Thankyou!
Very valuable … lighting is so important … i have some videos that have terrible lighting and some amazing … and i only notice the difference in retrospect 😜
Thanks for sharing this special tips
Lighting is king! Love the tips you shared, shooting outdoors can be really difficult sometimes no doubt! 💯✔️🔥

Very helpful video 👍
Great tips 👍😊
Great tips on lighting while shooting outside! I have shot outside without lightning.
Thank you for sharing these tips. Do you have other tips for recording videos outside while on the move or working on projects? Or is the best option to make sure you are recording during those sunrise and sunset times? Many of my videos are recorded outdoors and the lighting can be tricky for sure.
What really helps, is if you plan your shoots before 12 noon and after then. That way, the sun isn't high in the sky, causing unflattering shadows.
🔥 🔥 🔥
Great video! And what about this situation: im in the shade with the sea in background and i want too have both well exposed, whats the best solution
Thank you for the tips. How do you shoot outside with cloudy/overcast?and in doors without a soft box? I find that overcast makes everything bland/cool - less colour.
Thank you.
This is super useful most of my filming is outdoors being a farmer, other than using a dead cat are there other ways to reduce wind noise?
谢谢您的分享。
Are you using the standard picture profile on the zv1?
Is anyone else glad that he shaved the mustache?
I know this will be a long shot but what settings did you have the Sony ZV1 on to record this video?
I don’t agree completely, if you are dark skin like me and your skins undertone is warm the sun is more pleasant on the skin. No matter where I stand in the shade it doesn’t work for me but when i turn the camera on my husband ( white dude) he looks better anywhere 😢. The shade and cloudy skies simply makes me look grey when filming. You must consider your skin colour and your season ( if you are an Autumn, Winter, Spring or summer) too plus the colour of your clothes.
Question I notice that the lighting was off to the side, rather than directly in front of you when showing the GVM, is there a reason behind that? Thanks in afvance.
It creates a nice contrast of light and shadow across your face. It gives the video a more cinematic look vs a commercial look where everything is lit.
@@AntoineEdmonson thanks very much for the explanation.
My last video was partly outside and got that golden hour look. I didn't know that was a thing and I guess I got lucky lol
Congrats on being early and finding this comment 🥇
1st 💯😎
brother make indoor video
"you gotta just press record" ....
Good tips but seriously , most people dont really care about all that technical work and most people watching are not critics of my lighting , the content is more important after all , most people who make videos are not trying to make a movie that involves all that production .
