This is a wall pilates workout for beginners. This workout contains 11 wall pilates exercises, easing into the workout with gentle movements and finishing with a 2 min cooldown stretch. This workout contains full body wall pilates exercises including wall pilates glutes exercises, wall pilates ab exercises. Please check out my 7 day wall pilates challenge and 28 day wall pilates challenge if you would like to try more of my workouts! This workout can be used on a rest day if part of a challenge.

Yay managed to do it a lot later in the day ✔ no need to put off to the next day when me time is doable. I’m off to Barcelona on Friday for the weekend, a birthday treat for my mum who’s 80 next month by my eldest daughter. 3 generations ! Just finished day 7. Proud of myself for pushing though and committing (I usually fall off around day 3). I feel stronger and am noticing my body already toning. Thank you so much for putting together this free challenge. Love the calendar so easy to click and it takes me straight to the workout. No excuses!

Day 6 (30.06.2024) trip to the gym today so no wall to go against so modified to feet on the ground and a lot of tabletop/floating legs but am happy I have completed!!

Quick question - can I continue the challenge through my monthly period cycle or should I be halting in between?! Just wanted to know since the exercises are kinda antigravity and work in the mid section. Thanks!

Hey Rachel! I'm loving the exercises each day, but I'm struggling with upper back discomfort from bridging up on shoulder blades. I've had to get my back adjusted at the chiropractor a couple of times now. Not sure if my spine will just get used to it or if I'm doing something wrong. Thoughts?

Hi Rachel. This is my 3rd time of trying wall pilates and each time I cramps in my hamstrings. Do you have any advice on how to avoid this, please?

Hello, how do you do a double leg stretch, scissors, kneeling side kick, thigh stretch, and wall pushups for a beginner-friendly wall pilates workout? I keep seeing pictures, but nobody is showing how to do them.
I do show pushups for some of mine but yes, I can include those in my next Wall Pilates workout :)

It will depend on the person! If u feel discomfort u can keep your feet on the floor for all the bridging

I tried your wall Pilates and all I do is push my body away from the wall am I supposed to weigh myself down with heavy weights or how do you not push your body away from the wall when using your legs pushing the wall.
I used a yoga mat thinking it would hold me in place but I was wrong basically following what you did
For most people I think they are bridging up too high, don't have the glute strength to stay lifted, they then press more into the wall to try to stay lifted but it only pushes them further from the wall. You may want to try doing bridging on the ground during the wall bridging exercises so it's more comfortable! It will strengthen the glutes to help you feel more comfortable in a wall bridge

It definitely can but it does need to be with diet changes as well
