As ajith rightly mentioned its actually a great feeling to open the cork by holding he thumb of specially of a sparkling wine, which gives a great experience of saving the wine and savoring it to the full. Very few know this. Great update

Sir, do we even have to tilt the glass while pouring a sparkling wine. is it a standard pouring for sparkling wine.

Tilting makes it easier to pour as the bubbles don't get aggressive because you pour it from the side of the glass .. in a restaurant set up the server can't pick the glass from the table and has to pour very tactfully and slowly 👍

Just like any other wine it starts to oxidize once opened plus it starts to lose fizz. In case you dont' have a specialized storage device best to finish it in that session.

The wine should not go bad for 2-3 days.
