I'm under the impression that starting Kirby out with a Copy Ability isn't utilized in spirit battles because coding-wise Kirby would need the character on the stage to take their Copy Ability.
Maybe for the Guardian fight, you can still have Kirby, but have an invisible R.O.B. that spams his laser. This way you still get laser Kirby sorta, but R.O.B. being invisible can reference the phantom image of the Elder Guardian when you get Mining Fatigue.
For the Piglin fight, you could also add an invisible Belmont, since they have axes
Actually, if you play as Kirby, you can "steal" an opponent Kirby's copy ability by simply inhaling them. If the opponent Kirby doesn't already have an ability, it just does nothing.
This is further supported by squad strike, where Kirby will lose his copy ability upon defeating his opponent and having them swap out for a different character.

Honestly for skeleton horses you could have used duck hunt, since they’re like a skeleton riding a horse. May be a bit of a stretch but the only other person I could think of would be banjo but I think duck hunt goes better.
The Dalmatian alt for Duck Hunt I thought fit perfectly for the skeleton horse, since the black spots could be viewed as the spaces in between the horse’s bones.

My ideas for Giant and Illusioner spirits:
The giant spirit battle will obviously be against a giant Zombie on Minecraft World. It will have high HP but won’t be very aggressive, referencing how for most of their time in Minecraft they have lacked an AI.
The Illusioner will consist of 4 Dark Links battled on Luigi’s Mansion. The puppet fighters will favour neutral special. You only need to defeat the main fighter to win, but the main fighter will be invisible to confuse the player.
I think to add to this you could have the giant have the hit box run thingy instead of attacking like how in Minecraft they kinda just kick you and you die
An extra idea for the Wandering Trader:
The Villager goes invisible after some time, referencing how the Wandering Trader occasionally uses invisibility potions.
For the 1.19 mobs:
Warden: Giant Ganondorf (dark blue alt), Brinstar (resembles the deep dark, a dark cave full of lava), stamina battle, the opponent has 300hp, the enemy gets faster at lower health, legendary spirit. Music: The Arch Illager
Frog and Tadpole: 3x Tiny Greeninja (black alt, references tadpoles), 3x Greninja (white, green and red alts, each one represents each frog color), Jungle Japes (resembles the mangrove swamp), novice spirit. Music: Earth
Allay: 4x tiny Pits (blue alt), Minecraft World (forest variant as it references the fact that they're found in woodland mansions), the enemy is attracted to items, advanced spirit. Music: Glide
As for 1.20
Camel: Giant Yellow Yoshi, Mushroomy Kingdom, novice spirit
Sniffer: King K. Rool (red alt), Minecraft World, the enemy is atracted to items
I love all of this except for one thing for the warden:
In the "nightmare" spirit fight, there is an event where sometimes the nightmare assist trophy spawns, which mirrors the darkness effect.
Turn this into a series! Do it with other franchises, like Mario Enemies (from the mainline games) and stuff.
For the spider i right away thought of diddy kong: he is a spider monkey, he has that one attack were he jumps on you, he can cling on walls, he has alts that fit the spider and cave spider and he is used for the spirit battle against Squitter who also is a spider.
For the Polar Bear, you could have it start with a small Mii then once you KO it a large one spawns, to represent how Ingame, Polar Bears protect their young
For the skeleton horce, if I remember Pit's final smash has horces in it right? Plus, his bow kind of makes him like a skeleton. So maby he starts of with a final smash, and it charges faster.

For the pufferfish you can have the character get the dizzy effect either randomly, after a set amount of time, or after a set amount of damage to resemble the dizziness from the nausea effect you get from eating a pufferfish in Minecraft.
For the skeleton horse, I would use the dalmatian alt of duck hunt, since there the fighter consists of 2 characters, and the white with black spots can represent the look of a skeleton like figure
I feel like you could make the horse spirit battles feel more like horses by using impact run and, if we’re sticking with K. Rool, making them prefer forward tilt so that they’re always kicking you.
For the wandering trader, you could of made villager turn invisible occasionally since the wandering traders sometimes drink an invisibility potion.
For the shulker battle, the shulker should have the Franklin Badge, to represent how shulkers can reflect projectiles like arrows
The white duck hunt variant would be great for the skeleton horse as the duck on the dog looks perfect with the theme of riding.

I would've personally picked Byleth for the Vindicators and set them to favor Down-Airs, Down Smashes, and DownB's, but Byleth doesn't necessarily have a pale grey-themed alt.

Yeah I agree it is kinda sad how little mobs got spirits in Ultimate.
The normal spiders could be represented by a Mr. Game & Watch who loves to spam his up throw. The one where he juggles your character. This represents how the spider mob constantly attacks you if you get to close, and is a nod to how many limbs they have.
The Cave Spider will be represented by 2 - 3 smaller Mr. Game & Watches who have a cyan alt, and they'll do the exact same thing. The catch is that you have a flower on your head which represents the poison damage Cave Spiders dish out.
Both of the stages the Spider Spirits would be in is the Underground portion of the Mushroom Kingdom Stage.
Silverfish can be represented by 4 - 5 Skull Bandana Pichu since there's usually multiple Silverfish that spawn at a time. The stage would be Omega Coliseum since that represents the inside of a Stronghold more IMO.

Probably not, depends on if I think it fits which there aren’t many situations for
As an idea, perhaps for the witch spirit battle, Richter could have Ashley’s assist trophy since she is a witch and can cause various negative effects.
Also for the artic fox and goat, the fighters could start with alolan Vulpix and Gogoat respectively, don’t think there is a need to explain those.
Here’s a idea for a video, every or most hostile mob in Minecraft as assist trophies.
Also for cave spiders, the floor should be sticky refreshing how cod webs spawn around cave spider monster spawned.
I feel like Dunk Hunt (specifically the Dalmatian alt) could work well for the skeleton horse.

There are a few effects I feel like you could have added.
Wandering Trader and his Llamas could have had the "Defeat the main fighter" condition with the trader avoiding conflict.
The Pufferfish's nausea could be represented through occasional screen flipping.
I'm not a huge fan of minecraft but I think combining it with a Nintendo game is a really good way to bring in fans of both products. Would love to see more content like this.
I think the dolphin spirit should also speed you up to represent the dolphin’s grace buff
I think another cool zombie villager idea would be:
-You fight 3 sets of zombies that advance to the next wave when defeated
-Every time you defeat a "wave" you get a corresponding amount of Villagers as teammates
-The waves would go: One 100hp zombie -> Two 200hp zombies -> One "giant" zombie with 300hp.
The Villager teammate thing is like it's the player curing them. The giant in the end could also be interpreted as a bonus reference to the deleted mob.
Allay - Novice: Blue Pit; easily distracted by items (just miscellaneous items); Luigi’s Mansion
Warden - Legend: Stamina battle; you must survive for 2 minutes to win; 3 dark blue Lucarios to represent Sculk Sensors and a gray Lucario to represent the Sculk Shrieker who all prefer not to move and have 1 hp and a giant Dark Samus in its main alt with 500 hp; when a Lucario is KO’d then Dark Samus appears; Dark Samus suddenly gets their final smash to represent the sonic boom attack and has increased melee damage and final smash damage; stage is Gamer because it feels similar to sneaking around in an Ancient City and so 5 Volt will eventually KO a Lucario you can’t just do nothing
I’d say Duck hunt would work better as skeleton horse, as he has a rider with the duck, is a quadruped, and has white alts. And maybe the glow squid’s spirit battle could have deku nuts spawn because they flash in a bright light that dazes you kinda like it did in the mob vote videos, though more violently in this case.
For the Skeleton Horse variant I’d make them Duck Hunts in the Dalmation variant. The Duck is practically riding horseback.
very fun video! i personally would have used greninja for the spider due to their low-to-the-ground stature, quick movement, and focus on jumping. the black alt could be used for normal spiders and the default blue for cave spiders.
The "running like a horse" justification for K. Rool representing horses is actually accurate to the real-life lore of the Donkey Kong Country series. The devs watched gorillas to model DK's movements after, but the gorillas didn't do much, so for more expressive animations they based it on horses instead.
Would love to see this updated when Minecraft has even more mobs!

18:17 I play spirit battles a lot so I immediately thought of something that would work as a representation of the Nausea effect eating a Pufferfish would give you. Occasional inverted controls. Soooo many spirits make it so that your right makes you go left and your left makes you go right, but only on occasion so you don't get used to either state. It really gives me a "i'm dizzy therefore unable to walk straight" vibe.

I got a really cool for the Panda sprit. What Instead of referencing the animal, why not reference the seven personalities pandas can have in Minecraft.
Normal Panda will be an average Donkey Kong (with the white alt) as he has a lot of moves and animations that can simulate the other panda personality types. And to get it out the way there would be a another Donkey but with the default alt to reference brown pandas.
Playful can be White Diddy Kong that only dose Monkey Flips and always tries to go food items. This fits as monkey are seen as playful animals.
Weak would be a Pichu wearing the team skull bandanna. Pretty fitting as Pichu is infamous for being one of weakest the Pokémon. But this sprit
will often spam Thunder Jolt since the sound Pichu makes while doing it sounds like it’s sneezing.
White Incineroar would perfect for the aggressive panda as depicted as bulky bully. But this “panda” will often use revenge referencing the fact that Agro Pandas attack players or mobs that hurt them or other pandas first.
Lazy was the easiest to come as it would be the night cap jigglypuff that often uses rest.
And finally, worried would be the Dalmatian Duck Hunt alt with it running away from the player and it’s most common moves it uses being the smash attack as the dog looks worried when the attacks are used. As an added bonus, Duck Hunt would be weak to electric attack as a nod the weak panda’s fear of thunderstorms. And the duck can be a reference to the parrot as well.
The stage would be vanilla Kongo Falls. All characters including the player would heavier to play as. And cakes food items will periodically spawn.

I’d imagine the Warden being a giant Cyan Bowser. It has super armor, can deal massive damage (like, 20% per neutral attack with the best spirit set in the game), and becomes faster the more you attack it. However, it can only attack once someone attacks it, and acts like a lvl 1 cpu at the start of the match. Get him off the stage quickly! Uses either Brinstar or Shadow Moses Island.
Here are my suggestions for the battles:
10:06, 11:29, 18:48 - You could use Duck Hunt to represent the horses as the dog is a quadruped and the duck usually rides on his back.
13:32, 14:09 - It's a missed opportunity that Kirby never starts with Copy Abilities for spirit battles, but to not defy Smash mechanics, you could have the Kirbys hold a Staff from the start.
14:45 - Cyan Inkling is a better color match for the glow squid than the green one (unless you think his lighter-colored clothes are unfitting).
17:55 - There _is_ a visual disorientation effect in Smash in the form of screen-flip.
25:05 - You could use white Banjo & Kazooie instead.
25:46 - You could have only Alolan Vulpix spawn from Poké Balls as it attacks with icy projectiles.
All in all, this is a great video! I'd love to see this done for more series.

Using Corrin or a white Meta Ridley could’ve worked for the skeleton horses, as
1. Corrin is a white dragon
2. Ridley is scaly and skeletal
I’ve actually got an idea to make the Wandering Trader fight more interesting. Maybe make it so you have to kill the Villager to win, but the Villager prefers to run away and sometimes turns invisible, as a reference to how Wandering Trader’s will drink invisibility potions when it turns night.
You could also have it so that the screen may flip during the Pufferfish fight, to reference the nausea effect
And finally, for the rabbits, maybe make a fight with two separate levels: at first it’s just a hoard battle with a bunch of small Lucario’s with bunny ears that prefer to run away, and then after you kill them all, you have to fight one giant grey Lucario with bunny ears and a killing edge with an aggressive behavior, in reference to The Killer Bunny
I personally think four links in his fourth alt fit skeletons and all of them could spawn with a gogoat for the skeleton horseman

I think that Minecraft should have another fighter in the next smash game, and I have two ideas for it
1. The Illager
A combination of all of the illagers abilities, and a final smash could be a raid, would be interesting to see, but it isn’t really how the illagers work. But even so, the illagers are so important to Minecraft that it would be fun.
2. The wither.
Ok, I know this one sounds crazy, but the wither could be perfect. It is kinda the main antagonist of Minecraft, standing against everything the game is.
I actually have a move set idea from the wither.
Neutral: wither blast: the wither will spin around for as long as the button is held, and once it is let down, it creates a masssive explosion, minimum explosion is about the bobomb explosion, maximum explosion is about the size of the walking bomber enemy.
Side: the wither shoots three blasts forward, if the control stick is angled, the direction of the 3 blasts can change, but they can never go behind the withers initial starting point. The shots explode on contact, about the size of a bobomb explosion.
Up special, the wither could do a charge upward, it hits opponents away, but, doesn’t have any horosontal knock back, only launching foes upward. If you angle it right you can hit the same opponent many times. It goes about 3/4 as high as pits up special does, but it is way slower, with end lag to deal with.
Down special (idea 1): wither skeleton summon. The wither will have wither skeletons rise from the ground, they are weak, and have large hitboxes. They should really be used as a distraction if anything else, as they have only 20 hp before crumbling. All they do is walk around, jumping once, going as high as Steve’s single jump, and swinging their sword if an enemy is near.
Down special (idea 2) wither rose. The wither will shoot a tiny blast right in front of itself at the ground, causing a wither rose to spawn. Any opponent who steps in it will cake constant damage. The rose has 1 hp and will automatically disappear after 8 seconds. 2 roses can be out at once.
Down special (idea 3) Wither Armor. the wither would spin really fast, and a light blue color will be glowing off of it. If it is held a total of 10 seconds. It will explode, giving it huge armor, and it being virtually impossible to knock back.think of it as the metal box power up on steroids. The state lasts for 30 seconds or after a KO. The wither does not have increased power for this state, it it has super armor always. It also moves incredibly slow, its run is about as fast as incenerors walk, and its jump can only go as high as Steve’s double jump. The up special will be severely punished by this, going lower than little Mac’s up special. The button does not need to be held all at once, and the time you spent holding it will save as long as you don’t suffer a KO. So you could hold it for 3 seconds at the beginning of a match, 4 seconds when the opponent is of stage, and 3 more seconds after the opponent has been buried, you enter this armored state. You can NOT manually end the armored state, it can only end after 30 seconds, or after a KO.
Final smash: Nether portal: the wither summons a nether portal, and any foes caught inside of it will be dragged in. A cinematic cutscene plays out of wither skeletons absolutely going ham on the caught fighters, finishing with the wither skeletons deadly explosion move. This final smash will also inflict the wither effect, dealing constant damage to the hit foe even after the smash has ended. Once the wither explodes, the purple of the portal will disappear, but the obsidian will stay briefly to reference them being blast proof. The wither effect will deal 2 damage every second for 10 seconds.
Still getting the hang of using premiere but I think the editing is slowly improving!
