The resonator started rattling in my 15 GT Premium the day after the warranty expired. The replacement was $400 without the install. Ordered this and had it installed last week for 1/3 the cost. This video is spot on for the results. I even recorded my own before and after.
I've heard that some lose torque with the H Pipe installed. I have Roush axle back on my automatic (traffic here sucks) 2015 GT and I am considering and H Pipe. Also, confirming, no issues with California emissions.
@CJ PONY PARTS: I have a 2021 GT and I get the "Exhaust Mode Selection is not available" dash message only on the freeway going over 65 mph it appears. Any advice? It's all stock exhaust , oem resonator still on it.
Does doing a resonator delete affect the car in a California Smog check? as in not being able to pass one? It shouldn't since the cats are still on correct?
Have this h pip on my 2018 Roush RS2......amazing sound. Tried it also with an x pipe. IMO the h pipe is better not raspy at all, deep muscle car tone. I woud reccomend getting after market exhaust to get the most out of it. The stocks do not give it justice. The neighbors hate me....
@@Dude-tb8ry I would say the sound is hard to describe or explain other than it’s a lot deeper tone with an H pipe as opposed to an X pipe when I had an H pipe on my 2016 GT convertible and Roush axle backs it was the most amazing sound you could ever hear
Bill, these videos are great! I love the H-pipe look and sound. However, does anyone offer the mufflers and pipes coming straight back to the center (even if it requires a new rear valance) like Shelby?
so is the h pipes louder than the roush axleback system or vice versa? u mentiones it savea 15 pounds over the stock resonator, saying i changed the stock mufflers for the roush axlebacks how.much is the weight saving there? thank you in advance just.got.my 17 gt looking forward to get a set up
Dears, i ordered this h pipe from you guys along with the quad roush axle back. I was told that i will need to cut into my stock exhaust in order to complete the installation. Could you please clarify if that is true then where exactly am i to cut on my stock exhaust? I thought the H pipe will fit nice with the roush quad with no cutting:(
Hesham Thabit The resonator delete and the axleback will require cutting. There are videos on both showing the process. A length of stock pipe under the axle is still used
Which would help with drone? H-pipe or x-pipe? Im getting a lot of drone around 1.5-2k rpms was thinking about removing the resonator and replacing with a x-pipe
ckdifazio1996 Go with this H-pipe kit or the FRPP X-pipe, then get the Magnaflow Race axle-back or Kooks muffler delete kit, both use just pipe, no mufflers. If you keep the stock cats, it won't be too loud. If you want to delete the cats and resonator (especially adding headers), use a muffler otherwise it will be too loud.
+Patrick Castro How did you lease a GT Mustang? When I bought my 2016 GT Premium my sales person was trying to suggest I lease the car because I turned my previous 2 cars over after 3 or 4 years with about 10 to 15 thousand miles on them. I was kind of surprised at first because I didn't think they offered leases on sports cars. BUT, after she checked she confirmed that I was correct, and leases were not available for the GT model. Maybe it depends where you live??? I'm in PA. I wouldn't have leased anyway because I always wanted to eventually get a Mustang, I wanted to be able to modify it if I wanted to, and I plan on keeping it after I pay it off.
No, the days of 25+hp for your exhaust on your stang are over. There is better flow, but the HP gain (I'm sure there is a wee tad) will be so minimal, it probably wouldn't even change your dyno numbers.
Steeda did a video of the hp gain on the H-pipe and X-pipe. On a Mustang Dyno it showed 5+ hp gain on the H-pipe and 6+ Torque and on the X-pipe 6+ hp gain and 6+ torque gain. Plus 15 pounds lighter and better sound. All good for about $150 dollars spent!!!
so I want to start with the magnaflow competition axle back and add this as well. Will I still be running some part of it as stock piping between the mufflers and the resonator delete with that combination?
Bill Tumas Hello sir, im not sure if you already answered this but if you add this h pipe and muffler deletes how much power does it free up, WITHOUT A TUNE that is. i know im kinda late, thanks sir!
If you want the 60's muscle car sound, delete the resonator with straight pieces of pipe. If you want the stock sound but louder, H-pipe. If you want the corvette sound, get an X-pipe. If you want the nascar sound, Y-pipe with a single outlet dumped out the passenger side.
+Jose Sustaita X Pipe is louder but kinda raspy loud and will give you gains in the higher RPM range, the H pipe while not as loud it is a more deeper sound, more like what in my opinion a muscle car should sound and you get the gains in the lower RPM's. I bought both and tried them out and I decided to go with the H Pipe and I love it!
sounds great with the stock mufflers. i just dont like how the ford motors have that slow down rev. i didnt like that in my 08 GT. my tunrda falls down like it hits a brick wall. i like that more.
So I've heard if you just do the hpipe and don't do long tube headers you lose power ( i was told that from a performance shop and they probably just wanted me to go with that since it's a lot of labor ) is this true? I already have a muffler delete and am looking to install an Hpipe
The face the helper made when the driver side muffler fell down was priceless!!
American Muscle is good, but your vids are night and day better. Thanks a million.

Guys face at 2:25
Just got my mustang today and I can't wait to order my pipes!
Just did mine and left off the mufflers. Sounded AWESOME!
Just did this on my 2019 Bullitt. Didn't even have to take the exhaust off the car. Super easy and sounds amazing!
Love your vids,.. very polished and put together well. Helped me decide on an H Pipe for my 16! (I'll be ordering it from you).
2:25 his face, lol! O>O
First video I've watched on my computer in quite some time, and I'm impressed by the 60fps! Looks great and keep up the great work.
that 2015-2017 GT stock exhaust sound is so sad.
That "helicopter" shudder sound from EVERY h pipe influenced me to purchase an x pipe instead. Choice of mufflers will control tone
Those Recaro's are worth every penny
Daniel Tojcic yes they are.

Sounds similar to the 1967 Mustang, I wonder if the 67 has a H Pipe?
Do you have an install video of the MRT H pipe and Roush Axleback install together?

What would it take to install this MRT H pipe with borla stinger S type axle backs? Would it be difficult to do?

there been alot of problem with exhaust leaks with these h pipe and x pipe im wonder how to fix it anyone can help

Yes and we have several videos on S650 resonator delete installs too!
will this h-pipe be compatible with catted headers?
What’s more restrictive??? The mufflers or resonator??🤔🤷🏻♂️😁
The mufflers are. Most resonators have a strait through design and are only there to help resonate droning.
Did you lose any low end torque?
sounds super raspy, is it??
Which would help with drone? H-pipe or x-pipe? Im getting a lot of drone around 1.5-2k rpms was thinking about removing the resonator and replacing with a x-pipe
If you don't enjoy the drone of a V8, get a Tesla. Otherwise, get some nitrous oxide in them veins.
@@Dr_Xyzt Gotta let that ego go.
Cutting off the resonator and putting an x-pipe would only make more drone...
What would you recommend if i wanted to delete the resonator and the muffler? There really isn't a package to do that.
ckdifazio1996 It would probably sound terrible so we do not offer anything like that.

A little white smoke on cold start is no big deal, blue smoke would mean oil.
Hi Bill, I asked this on the wrong video. Couldn't one cut the pipes while still on the car?
is there a resonator delete where i would not have to cut or do something to void the warranty because my mustang is a lease
+Patrick Castro The only way to delete with out cutting is to get a full cat back exhaust.
+Bill Tumas i have an ecoboost which one would you recommend so i dont loose warranty? i want a badass exhaust haha
