One of the more annoying aspects of liver king’s brand, is that the physique of a primal person would be far more akin to a long distance runner than a bodybuilder, despite runners typically being portrayed in our culture as more feminine and cosmopolitan than lifters.

For people who are familiar with bodybuilding and participate/follow it extensively, that's one of the biggest giveaways of extensive steroid usage. Dude was next level with it lmao.
The "cavemen ate raw meat" thing always infuriated me about Liverking , Cooking our food on the fire was a cornerstone of early man & helped our ancestors avoid disease & get even more nutrients , And they ate whatever plants and grains they could get their hands on leading to a suprisingly varied diet, The man was on the juice & claiming a perversion of our ancestors diet was his method, he deserves his downfall
First time seeing this channel and i cannot possibly believe the LOVE that i have for the way this content is being made and presented. Striaght forward no BS deep dive into the topic.
I think it's an important distinction that Liver King wasn't just doing steroids; he was doing $12,000 a month worth of steroids and asking for help because he wasn't getting the results he was expecting. Yeah.
i do think that trying to live "naturally" is a good idea: less processed food, go outside, exercise, try to avoid harmful chemicals, etc... but man... all i have to say is that cooking was invented for a reason lol
Cooking is a big catalyst for the evolution of humans. By using tools and fire to make our food easier to eat and nore nutritious we freed up time to do other things. Compare this to gorillas who spend hours every day sitting around and chewing.
That's the problem with these types. On the surface all of their messaging and ideas are good, solid even, but once you keep going down it just gets worse and worse. I'm lowkey surprised he never got sick or infected with parasites at some point.
When I heard the name "Liver King" for the first time, I assumed it was some UA-camr who records themselves guzzling alcohol for hours without getting drunk. 🤷♂️
this shit was hilarious in the bodybuilding community. He kept saying he was natty while literally anyone who has been to a gym more than twice knew for a fact it wasn't true. It was like catching a child with his hands inside a cookie jar and him telling "i wasn't stealing the cookies!"
Noel Deyzel isn’t just a fitness influencer. He’s a very humble person and his content is genuinely inspiring. I highly suggest following him even if you aren’t a huge fitness person
@Kostas anagno He's already admitted he's not natural and he's not trying to sell you some bs training plan or supplements. Maybe you should try being a little open-minded.
The closest modern equivalent to a true Paleo Diet is the homeless guy going dumpster diving. Our noble ancestors were omnivores. If it was food they ate it.
I don't think the roids were the only problem with LK's lying. If you look at his routines they're not very well balanced or helpful to beginners, plus they're not really historically accurate to any "primal" ancestors' hypothetical routine. It just made him look like a fad
That's the problem with the manosphere and the fitness industry. Those people are obviously fake and unnatural but their target audience are so delusional they believe they're genuine. It's always do this and buy my garbage to be like me.
Not delusional. Gullible. They're only delusional if no matter how much you try to convince them the person they support is a lying dickwad, they'll still believe in them.
Our ancestors were more gatherers than hunters, but even then ain't NO WAY that lump would be able to partake in any hunting. Look at any "primitive" communities worldwide and not a single one of them looks like that. They're healthy and lean, because endurance, not strength, is key when you have to search for food.
"Everyone deserves a second chance" Yea for honest mistakes, failures, shortcomings etc. No people who willingly and knowingly deceive and exploit their "fans" for financial gain, thats just being a manipulative a-hole
Gimmicks and fake personas still continue to scam people or gain a massive following and directly benefit from the fake BS. He was already wealthy before but now he's far wealthier.
That’s impossible apparently. I understand but have no patience for the idea that to change or pursue a set of behaviours we need to “model” it by looking up to or following some notable figures. And the idea that these people are being deceptive for their own gain is also apparently never even cosnsidered.
As far as him saying he wanted to remain anonymous. Of course it's BS. Everywhere he went, He would go shirtless. What an egomaniac, deserves everything he gets,
You could show Ronnie Coleman at Mr Olympia to the people who think Liver King was a natty and they'd not have a doubt in their void of a mind that he was completely natural.
What pissed me off about the LK situation is that once his roid use was confirmed, he proceeded to make light of it like it was all a joke and he hadn’t been lying to people for a year

You should totally make a video on the downfall of CharacterAI Basically, it's a pretty run of the mill chatbot ai thing that opened in like summer of 2022. It goes pretty normal for a little bit, then around November, they filter all NSFW out. Predictably, like 75% of the community went fucking ballistic, because that's what they were there for. The devs, being calm and reasonable people, heard the pleas of the community and re-enabled it. No, I'm kidding, the devs doubled down and started getting pissy. This was generally well contained as the community adapted, but just recently the devs let some "Bad code" enter into the system, and the bots started doing NSFW again. It was as if the gates of heaven opened up, and then got slammed into the faces of the entire community. If people were going ballistic before, they're going intercontinentally ballistic now. The subreddit and the discord is now completely on fire demanding that the devs add a toggle to enable this "Bad code" for people, because not only did the bots do nsfw, but they responded quicker and were generally thought of as much smarter, not restricted by arbitrary limitations and chat errors. So it's just a clusterfuck war between horny roleplayers and these puritanical devs who want to recreate 1635 Massachusetts "If you show ankle, we will stone you" times with robots

Dr Davinsky has exposed GHOST GUM’s lies on his recent doco
The "cavemen ate raw meat" thing always infuriated me about Liverking ,
Cooking our food on the fire was a cornerstone of early man & helped our ancestors avoid disease & get even more nutrients ,
And they ate whatever plants and grains they could get their hands on leading to a suprisingly varied diet,
The man was on the juice & claiming a perversion of our ancestors diet was his method, he deserves his downfall
Was just watching one Ghost Gum video, then this new one gets uploaded. Good timing
Same lol
Liverking is that one guy at the gym who flexes all day without ever picking up a weight

Hmmm, suspicious

@don't be surprised you would be a flashgitz fan you regard kid
I exposed ghost gum on my page
I think it's an important distinction that Liver King wasn't just doing steroids; he was doing $12,000 a month worth of steroids and asking for help because he wasn't getting the results he was expecting.
Yeah.
I'm always in a good mood when you upload, easiest the best channel I hopped on in a while
Its odd because nobody would of cared if he was on the juice and peaching about ancestral tenants. But lying for that long...max oof

Do a video about the elusive primal man ! A creature that look like the liver king without taking any steroids or any PED !
Funny how his name is liver king and he looks like someone cobbled together a bunch of livers to make a vaguely human shape.
i do think that trying to live "naturally" is a good idea: less processed food, go outside, exercise, try to avoid harmful chemicals, etc...
but man... all i have to say is that cooking was invented for a reason lol
Cooking is a big catalyst for the evolution of humans. By using tools and fire to make our food easier to eat and nore nutritious we freed up time to do other things. Compare this to gorillas who spend hours every day sitting around and chewing.
@@Svoorhout85 not only that, but it also eliminates many pathogens that could easily screw you up for a few days, if not years

@@mr-mr-101 Maybe he did we just didn't see it. Social media never gives you the whole story
@@Svoorhout85 correct me if I'm wrong, but the cooking of food made it so that we expend less energy on digesting food, not making it more nutritious.
Fun Fact: The liver of a polar bear contains so much vitamin A that eating it will kill you.
When I heard the name "Liver King" for the first time, I assumed it was some UA-camr who records themselves guzzling alcohol for hours without getting drunk. 🤷♂️
That's just lazerpig but without the whole rambles about the military industrial complex
this shit was hilarious in the bodybuilding community. He kept saying he was natty while literally anyone who has been to a gym more than twice knew for a fact it wasn't true. It was like catching a child with his hands inside a cookie jar and him telling "i wasn't stealing the cookies!"

Why go to the gym when I can go outside and use my local park for free? Or perhaps a nature trail?

I remember watching an old BrainPOP episode about steroids in 3rd grade and knew the risks of steroids. Thank you Tim and Moby for educating me.
It's pretty insane how fast the guy blew up. He must have been spending close to five figures a month of his marketing team.
Our ancestors were more gatherers than hunters, but even then ain't NO WAY that lump would be able to partake in any hunting. Look at any "primitive" communities worldwide and not a single one of them looks like that. They're healthy and lean, because endurance, not strength, is key when you have to search for food.
The fact that anyone thought you could be a JOJO character 24/7 without steroids is funny
And then a few months later colleeen made the worst apology ever.

That’s impossible apparently. I understand but have no patience for the idea that to change or pursue a set of behaviours we need to “model” it by looking up to or following some notable figures.

I can understand it with actors somewhat. Make fun of me for it, but I liked seeing Hemsworth's muscles in that flop movie. (I know why Steroids are bad though, I still liked how it looked)
Makes sense, they started making their waves within the industry back in the 70's. Having them be commonplace in it now is the unfortunate outcome of that.

I did not take a physician to see from miles away that Brian Johnson is and has been juiced up.
That said, in my experience, his 9 "ancestral" tenets are effective in maintaining or improving one's well being. If you can't get a vigorous workout in, getting some sunlight on your face and arms do wonders. Walking barefoot in the grass, dirt, sand, whatever, it feels lovely. Taking a good look at what you eat and maintaining a sleeping regimen seem like common sense yet neither are so common. A crappy messenger delivering a solid message.
All that said, he lost me when he dissed stretching. Stretching is weak sh*t?! Dude thinks the "ancestors" didn't do even a smidge of stretching before running for 6 hours to track down a deer for dinner?!

You should totally make a video on the downfall of CharacterAI
Basically, it's a pretty run of the mill chatbot ai thing that opened in like summer of 2022.
Why don't they just use Personality Forge?
remember, horny is the drive for everything.

Hey Ghost Gum I know this probably won’t reach your eyes but I’d really you to take the time to look into this. There is a subreddit called r/dogfree which is a mimic of r/childfree, but unlike childfree the stuff that is posted there is absolutely abhorrent and terrible. People constantly go on about how they’re glad dogs have died and hope dogs die or when there’s a major event involving a dog they wish that’d it’d be put down (a big example is with the drama that surrounded Deji’s dog Tank). It’s a terrible subreddit and has so much toxicity surrounding it, and I hope you can do a deep dive.

Ghost gun, you’re mistaken when it comes to Liver King telling people, from the start, that he’s on steroids. His whole brand was about getting a great body from non-steroidal use. If he told everyone he was on steroids from the start he wouldn’t have made near as much money, because people wouldn’t have believed they could have gotten his body from what he was selling them.
