The hardest part has been trusting turns and letting my weight lean over to whatever side I'm turning to.
Good tips. I learned crossovers without any real effort or thought when playing pond hockey as a kid. It is alway easier to learn this stuff when your a kid, your center of gravity is lower and you don't have as far to fall when it doesn't work out.
Mooie tijden man.
Fantastic video!!! Thank you from Japan!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ThisissoulI was wondering if height has anything to do with it. i skate on 4 by 100 and it's hard to get my foot over the other. have any tips? I'm 5'2
"people are scared to execute..." one of the many reasons why I had trouble doing parallel turns when I was learning. and getting off and onto curbs. and going over speed bumps. and other things. you just gotta do it.
Nice 😅 I will try these tips. Thanks for sharing
Good tips, i consider myself as advanced/intermediate skating over 20 years love it i could never give it up 👌
Great & perfect👌
Thank you for this video🌹
My pleasure 😊
Thank you. What are your helpful points about dogs.
amazing tips for beginner's and in general for all. thank you so much.
You're so welcome!
Thanks a lot. This is really one of the best video about the cross over that I saw 👍I appreciate that you make a big focus on the safety part of the training and the practise because I am 50 years old and yes, I'm always afraid of hurting myself and not be able to skate for a long time... Chris from Lyon, France
Glad it was helpful!
Crossover is next on my list. Enjoy your tutorial. I subscribed ❤
Welcome aboard!
awesome tutorial!
Glad you liked it!
Nice bro thanks for the tutorial
No problem
Thanks for the great video. The "skating on one leg" video is labeled as "for kids" which prevents people from commenting or adding to favorites. Thought of letting you know just in case that was unintentional. Thanks again!
Thanks for that! I will change it.
This is the place you took the stick from, you promised stick was returned, but I dont see it anywhere around >:G
I just learned to skate backwards. Now I want to learn cross overs.
Bro, when you buy those frames, they come individually or in pairs?
frames are almost always sold in pairs
One at a time.. save up for one then the other
fiming on iphone?
I’m 6’5” and after 6 months still just too wobbly right now. But one day
That’s a tall height. I barely see tall people skate. Most of the times I see shorter heights and more lean skaters.
I’m not sure if height or weight have a big factor on skating or not.
I’m about average 6’0 220lbs I find the smaller wheels easier to crossover than big wheels.
I think I know what I'm practicing tomorrow
good luck!
@@Thisissoul Thank you! I can definitely tell the tips helped a LOT!
if you fall like that on your hands, you'll break your bones plus the skin will come off your palms.
nop, not if you practice them. learn more about this in our skate falling technique video's
Doing it like that with stiff long legs .... Forget it.
then get flexible long legs. you simply need to practice.
