"It would look weird if you had just a mustache"
"but I had just a mustache"
"yes and it looked weird"
True friendship right there
Aaron not seeing any of the mad max movies is criminal, you gotta admit.
Lock him up and throw away the key
It's INSANE to me that he hasn't seen any of them.
You know what it is? MEDIOCRE!!
Aaron should change his name to Smalls because he is killin' me with his neglect of great cinema.
I also have never seen any of them, but I was middle school at that time soooo
Calvin NEEDS to wear a suit with a cowboy hat more often. Only the best for Mad Max!
He looks like a Hasidic Rabbi.
reminds me of ''The Dead South - In Hell I'll Be In Good Company | Official Music Video.''
How they can learn that Aaron's never seen Fury Road and didn't just immediately make him watch it is beyond me.
I keep a copy in my car just in case
Aaron needs to watch all the mad max movies
How the heck has Aaron not watched Fury Road or the Road Warrior?!?
Looks like you guys reacted to Oppenheimer.
Damn, even in funerals I havent been as well dressed as these guys here.
I don't know what's more crazy, the fact that we are getting another one of these movies, or the fact that it has been 8 years since Fury Road... What a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!
And we're getting a Fury Road sequel maybe 2 sequels as well
Spam
Copy & paste
@EquinoxWarrior I'm looking forward to this one, but I'm not holding my breath for the sequels with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron to made anytime soon.
Bro I saw this comment from the official Trailer...broo 😅😅
Fury Road is SOOOOO good! One of my comfy movies.
I got a little bit scared about the performances in Furiosa (only having seen the trailer) BUT I trust in George Miller so 🤷🏻♀
Anya is an award winning actress. Trust me, she won't disappoint you
After seeing Barbie on Patreon this must be everyone’s Oppenheimer fit 😂
Yeah
"it was me and Rick" Damn, they won't even mention Shane by name anymore. That's too bad.
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed this 🤔
Yeah, I noticed this too. Calvin might of forgot that he was part of the reaction Shane has been out of the group for so long. OR, the darker possibility is that Shane is blacklisted from all BW content. I'm doubtful of this later interpretation because they still have his videos up.
Wait what happened with Shane??
Fury Road is visually stunning. Great movie.
I love Fury Road, so i'm excited for this one
THANK YOU AARON!!! I've only ever seen the Mel Gibson/Tina Turner version... and it was so long ago, I've forgotten literally all of it.
Aaron needs to do a reaction on the channel!
the suits and the hat are giving Killers of the flower moon or Oppenheimer reaction is imminent, hopefully.
I’m hoping “Tombstone”
@hellfish2309 they have already done a reaction to tombstone
come back in 5 weeks ;)
Of all the possible ads on the internet HOW DID I GET THE FURIOSA TRAILER FOR THIS VIDEO?!?!?!
Aaron’s beard looks great ! 👌🏻
Sounds like you got to make Aaron react to all of Mad Max.
I clicked Play and started laughing :D awesome
Movie looks good, YOU GUYS are also all looking pretty good doods! Sweet suits!
Oh what a joy to watch Fury Road for the first time. Enjoy Aaron!
Looking good brothers
Still my favorite reaction channel literally
I agree with Eric, that there are moments in this trailer that look more CG-based than anything in Fury Road did... Not necessarily a bad thing, but i definitely hope that the full film manages that same tactile, lived-in feeling that made FR such a masterpiece.
The only reason I got for Aarons suit is a James Bond Movie :D
It’s 90% likely it’s for Oppenheimer
@@supernerdgavin maybe. Just that we have not seen a 007 reaction recently.
you need to see extraction 1 and 2 they are so good
I read the prequel comics, so I wonder if it'll be in line with it.
Oppenheimer reaction coming judging by the attire.
Looks like they need to do a Fury Road reaction for aaron
So last time they were dressed like Ken now Like a sophisticated nuke guy, i WONDER what they just recorded a reaction to
(for all i know it could be Mad Men)
3:47 his mustache wasnt the only weird thing about him
Another three years before we get the Black and Chrome edition the way it was intended.
Can’t take a movie reviewer seriously that hasn’t seen Mad Max: The Road Warrior.
Anya taylor-joy is seriously rising to the top so many good movies
She is seriously one of the best actresses of this generation.
Her career isn’t going to last much longer in widely seen movies if this one is her 9th box office flop in a row.
@@randomiser2267 Nicolas Cage is doing just fine and all his movies are shit
@@randomiser2267 I'd like to know all nine movies in a row that flopped
@@jamesrein648 Marrowbone, Thoroughbreds, PlayMobil: The Movie, Emma, Here Are the Young Men, The New Mutants, Last Night in Soho, The Northman, The Menu,
Hollywood needs the old-school auteurs like George Miller more than ever
I mean it’s neither ‘old school’ nor asking a lot for filmmakers to make product with planned intention having done the homework - ‘Happy Feet’ wasn’t old school, but George Miller was extremely intentional in making it
Just need more professionals and less ‘employees for studio hire’
Say, what? You mean the playwright George Miller? Dumbfounded… No, of course that can’t be right ha ha
You can't have old school with modern woke ass narratives. WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER SHE-RO.
@@Dude_Slickrighttt, so only men can be action movie protagonists.
@@jackdonohue7893 Who said that nitwit? I loved Alice in Resident Evil. And there's Black Widow, Ultraviolet, AEon Flux, Red Sonja, Kill Bill, Alien, Alias, Charlie's Angels, Wonder Woman, Underworld,.The Old Guard, Tomb Raider, and Sarah Frickin Conner. Your little Furiosa has some huge shoes to fill. When the shoe fits, I'll count her among them. Not before then, and surely not sight unseen. Hope that clears things up for your simpleton mind to grasp.
I do want to see this but I am worried that they've gone much heavier with the CGI. Fury Road was so visually stunning in large part because of how much they utilized practical effects. Obviously CGI was used as well, but they kept it a light touch for the most part. Hopefully the trailer is just a little over processed and that's why things look too smoothed out and artificial. We'll see.
My thoughts exactly
It was hit by covid during filming, so a lot of filming was in studio. Prepare for some CGI
Calvin looks like a stereotypical fantasy author! XD
Aaron's beard looks really good actually
Jeez fellas, please leave some love making for the rest of us!
Imagine a marvel movie done by George Miller, especially something dark like Punisher or Blade
The marvels could've been good if it made sense, and all the female characters were as lovable as furiosa and the many mothers.
1:40: I was thinking Beth Harmon
Fury road is a masterpiece
Okay, if you say so. All I saw was a film piggybacking off a real masterpiece. The Road Warrior.
The crew looks great in their Oppenheimer clothes.
Man I really wish we could get a Waterworld sequel from this director! It's basically Mad Max on water!
PLEASE have Aaron do a reaction !!!!
Surprised it took this long to milk the cow again.
Water World was after Mad Max. Basically Mad Max on water.
So fury road watch along coming up?
Can you guys do reactions to Severance?! I'm shocked there isnt many with how great of a show it is. Silo is also a good show too. Don't sleep on Apple TV series!
still no what if season 2 trailer ?
I can't believe this only has this much views
WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!
Furiosa
Beyond Thunderdome is my all time favorite… ❤
Great movie. But this? All I can say about this is: WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER SHE-RO.
@@Dude_Slick Furioso is no Captain Marvel.. Shes gonna make epic bank at the box office.
@@smallvillefan72 I don't really care how a movie does at the box office. Who rakes in more money than Taylor Swift? Yet I couldn't change the station swift enough if I heard her music come on the radio. I'll likely watch Furiosa and make my own judgment, but not until it hits streaming. I won't be seeing it in the theaters. My expectations are not very high.
The middle man has the vibes of an ancient slavic killer from the depths of Orthodox Church! You do not cross the man and live to survive! Rest two are typical Mmuricans of recent present.
IT'S JAZZ CLUB ERIC, YELLOWSTONE CALVIN AND RESEVOIR AARON!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
So either Max's first movie was during the collapses early phase where society hasn't completely collapsed, or the wild child from Road Warrior is Fury Road's new Max, or Max is immortal
The Mad Max movies are very loosely connected, and open to interpretation. George Miller said that they are like stories of the legend of Max (almost like an anthology series), hence why he's not specific about the timeline. Though this new era could be turning from soft reboot into hard reboot with direct sequels. Although, we'll likely have to wait for Mad Max: The Wasteland to determine that.
I like to think the kid in road warrior is max in fury road.
Give us Aaron's Fury Road reaction!!!
AARON MUST SEE FURY ROAD!!!
Please post an Aaron / Eric reaction to it.
Calvin looks like rabbi 😂
So this movie solidifies that the theory that everything after Mad Max is just in his head is not correct. Either way, this movie looks like fun.
its been long enough, we can totally get an eric and aaron reaction to fury road. just eric cuming all over the cinematography again and aaron's fresh reaction.
I think Aaron should watch road warrior then fury road
whats the special occasion boys?
Good soup
So what reaction did they dress up for now? ahaha
Oppenheimer
House of The Dragon S02 teaser reaction please
Aaron suffers from what we call "Joe Dirt syndrome" lol
What do you mean?
@jeremyroberts8822 watch Joe Dirt and you will understand the joke
where's the invincible reactions?
DO A REACTION OF FURY ROAD FOR AARON
Calvin saying “It was me and Rick” in regards to the Fury Road reaction tho Shane was in it as well. 😬😕
There Is No Shane in Ba Sing Se
*Mad* *Max:* *Fury* *Road*
So I was watching the first 30 minutes of Fury Road. I've seen it twice, once in the theater and another time at home. I remember back in 2015, we already had a clear bootleg copy of it after two weeks from release. Man, why the hell did Fury Road not win Best Picture for 2015? I saw The Revenant and it's not as good as Fury Road.
The first 30 minutes of Fury Road moves at a frenetic pace. It's nearly balls-to-the-wall action from start to finish with very little time to have quiet moments or have a nice conversation with the characters. Hardly a dull moment in the film. It's basically like that first Predator from 1987 where the action doesn't really stop until the end credits. The action moves at a relentless pace.
Revisiting my favorite 2015 films...
My Top 5 Favs (Written In 2015)
1. The Force Awakens
2. The Hateful Eight
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron
4. Max Max: Fury Road
5. Jurassic World
My Top 5 Favs (Written In 2023)
1. The Hateful Eight
2. Mad Max: Fury Road
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron
4. Jurassic World
5. The Force Awakens
What the hell was I thinking having The Force Awakens as my favorite of 2015? Now I did have a blast watching TFA in IMAX 3D. One of my greatest theater experiences ever. Then I watched it a second time in a normal theater screen. But the movie didn't age well for me once I saw it at home around March 2016. And of course, there is all this hate on the Sequel Trilogy and on Rey when this wasn't the case before The Last Jedi.
I still like TFA and it's still the best film from the ST. But that's not saying much when TLJ and TROS are so despised by SW fans. The Hateful Eight moved up to No. 1 because it's the one I've listened to the most. It's quite a divisive film similar to Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. Some love it, some hate it or find it mid. But I love listening to the dialogue. Walton Goggins is a phenomenal actor.
Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the greatest action films ever made and arguably the best of this century. True, some people didn't care for it. I know my brother didn't. He's not into that aesthetics. He's more into James Bond-like design. His least favorite decade is the 1970s because he's not into that fashion. He's also not into the hippie crowd. He's basically like Rick Dalton in Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. I know Chris of Film Stocked also did not like Fury Road. Hey, you can't please everyone.
I'm with the majority and think Fury Road should've won Best Picture for 2015. I put Fury Road up there as one of the top 10 best action/adventure films I've seen in the theater. I remember sitting next to my girlfriend and just having a big smile on my face when we got to the final act. I wanted to headbang and do the devil sign 🤘🏻 like I was Beavis and Butt-Head. It felt like we weren't just watching a movie but a rock concert. My girlfriend and I walked out of the theater with huge smiles in our faces. We had so much fun watching it.
Fury Road is Duel (1971), The Book of Eli (2010) and then fusing it with Sega Rally and Twisted Metal. It's a chase/escape movie, a western, a dystopian film, a racing game, a demolition derby game, and Coachella/Woodstock rolled into one. Sprinkle some Dune in it. The people look like they came out of Zion in The Matrix Reloaded but all they want is water being that poor and being peasants. That's how effed up their world is.
"Then who killed the world?"
Fury Road is one of the coolest movies ever made up there with Goodfellas and True Romance. I can imagine punk rockers, metal heads, drug addicts, goth folks, and tatted thugs loving that movie too. It's so beautifully shot too. It's almost like a landscape painting Bob Ross made. The scene with all the tornadoes was so epic. The first 30 minutes of Fury Road is better than most action films last 30 minutes. While it didn't win Best Picture, it still won 6 Academy Awards. Well deserved.
Fury Road is up there with all the greatest action films like Predator, Die Hard, and Terminator 2. It's that f*cking great! The movie kicks so much ass even 8.5 years later. Perhaps Furiosa will never be as good as Fury Road because Fury Road is a flawless Mad Max movie. But I'll still be there to watch Furiosa because there aren't a lot of franchises similar to Mad Max.
Some of my favorite action/adventure films I've seen in the theater (in chronological order)...
Top Gun (1986)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
Jurassic Park (1993)
Face/Off (1997)
Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The Dark Knight (2008)
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Most anticipated films/TV series for 2024 -
1. House of the Dragon Season 2
2. Gladiator 2 (might be delayed until 2025)
3. Deadpool 3
4. Dune: Part II
5. Joker: Folie à Deux
6. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
7. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
8. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
9. Alto Knights (formerly Wise Guys)
10. Agatha: Darkhold Diaries
11. The Acolyte
12. Beetlejuice 2
13. Untitled Karate Kid Film
14. Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire
15. Kung Fu Panda 4
16. Sonic the Hedgehog 3
17. The Garfield Movie
18. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley
19. Bad Boys 4
20. Twisters
I never got into The Last Airbender, so I didn't list it and never saw Daredevil when it was on Netflix or the Ben Affleck one, so Daredevil: Born Again isn't on my radar. Venom 3, Madame Web, Echo, Mean Girls, Kraven the Hunter, The Skeleton Crew, and Alien: Romulus doesn't interest me either. I'll check them out if the reviews are good.
My Top 5 Favorites From 2023
1. Loki S2 (not as good as S1 but still love it!)
2. Air
3. BlackBerry
4. Oppenheimer
5. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Take note, I haven't seen Poor Things and The Holdovers yet. They both have high scores on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb. Heck, I haven't even seen Napoleon yet. Then I read Disney doesn't want to release The Bikeriders. I did see Killers of the Flower Moon and Priscilla on the same day. While I think they're both good films, neither one would make my top 5 favorites of this year.
Maybe it's a NY bias, but Killers of the Flower Moon is regarded the best film of 2023 according to the New York Times and The New Yorker? I think the movie is well made but I actually prefer Oppenheimer more and I'm a bigger Scorsese fan than Nolan fan. I wouldn't be mad if Flower Moon won Best Pic but I rank it between the 10-12 range among my Scorsese favorites. Still better than Gangs of New York. Cameron Diaz was a complete miscast for that film.
I enjoyed Gen V and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon but I wouldn't put either of them in my top 10 of this year. I haven't been into TWD since 2016 which is why the spinoff show with Rick and Michonne next year doesn't interest me. Gen V is CW The Boys meets Saved By The Bell: The College Years. Some good stuff but I still prefer the flagship series. Most spinoffs are extra dressing we don't need or never asked for. If they did a spinoff to Stranger Things and Cobra Kai, I probably wouldn't watch it. I'll watch Agatha because I always liked Kathryn Hahn.
*Godzilla* *Minus* *One*
There's a great chance if I see Godzilla Minus One, it will make my top 5 for 2023. But since it's a foreign film with subtitles, I probably wouldn't put it above Loki S2 and Air since I tend to listen to my movies and shows at home while I surf the web. I'm such a huge Michael Jordan fan and Loki fan. I would love it if -1 shocks the Oscars and wins Best Pic. I've read it's like a Godzilla film if it was directed by Steven Spielberg.
Godzilla Minus One
Rotten Tomatoes: 96%
IMDb: 8.4 (went up from 7.9)
All the highest grossing Godzilla movies are the American ones. The highest grossing for a Japanese Godzilla movie is Shin Godzilla in 2016 at $78M worldwide. The 1998 Zilla still made more at $379M. Minus One should cross $100M easily with it's shoestring budget of $15M. I think it will cross $200M. Not bad for a foreign film with subtitles.
They say Godzilla is the oldest running movie franchise. That's not true. King Kong is older by 21 years. The difference is Kong doesn't have a movie every decade like Godzilla and James Bond do. Older than King Kong is Sherlock Holmes. There was a Sherlock movie back in 1914 and a minute long one back in 1900.
I would love if a Godzilla movie wins an Academy Award for Best Picture. Shock the world! Be such a boon for the Godzilla/kaiju community. First ever Japanese film to win Best Pic. Then the James Bond franchise should try to aim for one. Make a truly, truly great Bond film that can rank up there with The Godfather I and II. James Bond and Godzilla have been around 61 to 69 years. Bout damn time they start winning Oscars.
make Aaron play the video game on the gaming channel.
Sad it’s not Theron, but if it can’t be her… Anya is the correct answer!!!
OMG! A mad Max virgin? I am so jealous.
When Calvin said "me and Rick watched it" kinda made me sad that he excluded Shane who was also there
Thought the same thing and even looked it up because I figured that’s why he hesitated for a moment😢
Aaron, you need to watch the Mad Max series before watching Furiosa. Btw, George Miller has directed ALL of the Mad Max films.
Could Miller do AKIRA live action?
imagine having this channel and not knowing who george miller is
Man Anya Taylor Joy is definitely Hollywood’s new “It girl”, she’s in everything now! I’m not complaining though because I really like her!
She's in everything? I looked at her IMDB and saw nothing I would ever watch. But okay, you enjoy that then.
@@Dude_Slick really? Then you’re missing out man. She’s in the Witch, the Northman, the Menu, Split and the Mario Bros movie all movies I can recommend that are worth watching.
@@youngrootv I actually did see The Northman. I found it boring. Everyone raved about how it was shot documentary style, which for me made it very dry. the Menu is utter garbage for my taste. And for Mario, I hear it's great, and I'm sure it's fine, but cartoons aren't really my thing. I watch a lot of movies. More than anyone else I know. I'm sure I'm not missing out on anything.
@@Dude_SlickYou have shit taste if you thought the Northman was boring
Who is this human being who does not watch Fury Road and when will be his funeral?
This looks cool‼️ Memorial Day weekend’s going to be big as this, Planet of the Apes, Garfield are coming out on the same day (for now)!!
Were you guys dresssed for Oppenheimer 🤨
This is how you make female lead movie. No gender swapping. no Feminazi propaganda as for as I can tell. Furiosa could become it's own franchise like Mad Max. And I would love both as long as they keep up the great work they do.
Mid Max: Ordinary Road, more like.
giving chris hemsworth's character a red cape in this movie is a bit on the nose
granted but since his character has the name Dementus and he has a motorbike chariot, im thinking its meant to be more of a Roman paludamentum (officers cloak)
The trailer was a bit too CG for my taste... Fury road was so practical.. I hope they keep that vibe
To recognize another dude by his shoulders is honestly kind of crazy.
This movie will be epic!!!! I can't wait!
The fact that Hemsworths first lines in this trailer are "lady and gentlemens"
This movie WILL NOT contain bullshit! 💪💪💪💪💪💪
Reaction to indian movie trailer "Salaar" Telugu language
Some reasons it might not be shot quite the same: Director Steven Soderbergh's reaction to Fury Road:
"I just watched Mad Max: Fury Road again last week, and I tell you I couldn’t direct 30 seconds of that. I’d put a gun in my mouth. I don’t understand how [George Miller] does that, I really don’t, and it’s my job to understand it. I don’t understand two things: I don’t understand how they’re not still shooting that film and I don’t understand how hundreds of people aren’t dead."
And I know some stunt performers were saying it was kind of disgusting they were allowed to shoot Fury Road as they did. Most people involved said it was the worst shoot of their lives and they would never do anything like that again. So I definitely understand not shooting it the same.
It’s a different story with the focus on a different character, so we shouldn’t expect it to be shot exactly the same as the previous movie. Fury Road was a “chase” movie. Each film in the Mad Max series has been shot differently than the others, so no reason to expect differently this time. Also, George Miller and Steve Soderbergh are two very different directors with different skill sets. Miller is on a different level. I wouldn’t expect Soderbergh to understand how Fury Road was shot.
Plz react : salaar
Please dont just watch Fury Road and watch the first 3 movies. Furiosa was more of a MC than Max in that movie. This prequel kind of proves that.
As a beard bro I need to say that Aarons beard looks good. It has its own style but also in a very symmetric way. Would love to see it a little longer
I'm more interested in the MM Wasteland film (assuming it ever actually happens), but this looks like a good time. Hemsworth is a wildcard, but I trust the director to deliver a great movie.
TONTERIA
I hate the arm in this one. In Fury Road it looked like a practical prosthetic, this looks like she found the arm of the first Terminator.
