You are a hero! I was looking for this info for months. Downloading the firmware right now!! Could you maybe do a video like this explaining how to root these devices. Because some of the stock apps on the firmware are just bs. It would be awesome to force stop some of them but cant right now because manufacturer has disabled the option to mess to much with the os! Will this update allow me to setup shutdown time on the unit on factory settings? Currently it only allows me to setup direct sleep and direct shutdown but it is draining my battery or taking too long to start respectively.

@@setnfix it is not shown anywhere in the software other than the HZX_ ……. I had to open the hardware and I found the model number printed on the circuit board. There’s no any other way apart from that. For all those whose ROM is different from the available firmwares in the website, they’ll have to open their units and check on the circuit board. If you want to boot into recovery mode, you can do it by using apps. They have released only android 10 updates . I will check and inform when android 11 updates are released . What did you mean by Secret screen?

Hello, the same thing happens to me, I have a yt9218c-AHD and Android 6, I download both 8.1 g or 9.0 and put them on the pendrive, but when it updates it gives an error, the doll appears lying down and the word error appears at the top, After 1 minute it reboots and returns to the previous system.
It did not work, it always said installation failed and open boot menu. I struggled a lot to find the solution and I finally found the latest updates 2024. It will help you and I hope anyone that's watching. I created short video with links provided to all the drivers, you can find it in my channel. Hope it helps. Thanks for all the help.

Hello, I don't know if you can help me, I wanted to tell you something in case you knew how to solve it, I have an android radio installed, Android version 12, Car Audio B7.3.8, Can Bus V9.0.7 and CPU 8239 (1.5 Ghz x 4) which works perfectly for me with the only exception that the traditional FM radio (not online, the one that receives a signal through the antenna), keeps the frequencies in memory but I can't get it to memorize the name of the station, which means You have the frequencies of each station in your head or you have to go through one by one to find the one you want to hear and so on every time. I have consulted with Esgoo and they tell me that this model does not support that function. I think it may possibly be due to the radio application that they have installed in that version of Android and I don't know if it will be possible to modify, update or even change it. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Greetings
No it is not about the android version. IT is about the radio software. But it is difficult to replace the radio application as both hardware and software part are inter related. I can give you an idea but can not be guaranteed and take any responsibility . If you can backup the existing radio application and replace the radio application with an radio application from a car stereo head unit with the function you wanted.

I think your device is without FM Radio. If you are familiar with android firmware, you can use the 9218 as well. But you have to flash a custom recovery ROM to backup the existing firmware. BUT DO NOT DO ANY CHANGES IF YOU ARE NOT familiar with this as I CAN NOT TAKE ANY responsibility.

This firmware is only for xyauto. check your android settings and go to system updates. If the manufacture had release new updates, you can upgrade your firmware.

No. normally the device is given power continuously as the device needs power to keep the memories.
Followed the exact steps and upgraded the Android headunit software. After upgrading, all Google apps are crashing and not working
If you have selected the correct update file , now do the factory reset then the problem will be solved .

Will updating the software possibly fix the rebooting issue? It does it every 10 seconds for a while then eventually works for maybe an hour.
Try to do the factory reset. IF not possible, upgrade the software. Rebooting is mostly due to a software corruption.

You have to access by connecting usb cable to your pc and try to re boot into recovery mode using MS dos

Chinese brands are coming with affordable price. But if you have enough money you can go for Kenwood or Pioneer brands

Check the firmware number and the version. If the version is same or lower than the existing one, you will not be able to upgrade.

Hello, the same thing happens to me, I have a yt9218c-AHD and Android 6, I download both 8.1 g or 9.0 and put them on the pendrive, but when it updates it gives an error, the doll appears lying down and the word error appears at the top, After 1 minute it reboots and returns to the previous system.

It did not work, it always said installation failed and open boot menu. I struggled a lot to find the solution and I finally found the latest updates 2024. If the upgraded rom is the correct one, you can downgrade the firmware with an old version. If not you have to contact the manufacturer for Stock Rom.

Hello, I don't know if you can help me, I wanted to tell you something in case you knew how to solve it, I have an android radio installed, Android version 12, Car Audio B7.3.8, Can Bus V9.0.7 and CPU 8239 (1.5 Ghz x 4) which works perfectly for me with the only exception that the traditional FM radio (not online, the one that receives a signal through the antenna), keeps the frequencies in memory but I can't get it to memorize the name of the station, which means You have the frequencies of each station in your head or you have to go through one by one to find the one you want to hear and so on every time. I have consulted with Esgoo and they tell me that this model does not support that function. I think it may possibly be due to the radio application that they have installed in that version of Android and I don't know if it will be possible to modify, update or even change it. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Greetings
No it is not about the android version. IT is about the radio software. But it is difficult to replace the radio application as both hardware and software part are inter related.
I can give you an idea but can not be guaranteed and take any responsibility . If you can backup the existing radio application and replace the radio application with an radio application from a car stereo head unit with the function you wanted.

I think black light is burnt. you can check it using a flash light to the display. If the back light is burnt you will see the display.

I think your device is without FM Radio. If you are familiar with android firmware, you can use the 9218 as well. But you have to flash a custom recovery ROM to backup the existing firmware. BUT DO NOT DO ANY CHANGES IF YOU ARE NOT familiar with this as I CAN NOT TAKE ANY responsibility.

This firmware is only for xyauto. check your android settings and go to system updates. If the manufacture had release new updates, you can upgrade your firmware.
