I have been vegan for almost 6 months. I am currently 80 years old, do not take a single pill. Normal blood pressure, total cholesterol below 140mg / dl, LDL less than 80mg / dl. Run and walk 4km5 daily. Mental clarity, good memory. The plan based diet is awesome. I am eagerly waiting for the film.

It's been 9 years for me. I was wanting to do it when I was younger, but I was much more ignorant back then, and the meat eaters were always able to draw me back into their lie. Well, no more. I didn't become a vegan until I was 51 years old either. I'm 60 years old now, and I'd never go back to that insanity. Friend. I've discovered the truth: When people eat animals that were tortured and killed, they are consuming hate, and it will be reflected back to them. If you notice, they always punish themselves while claiming that it's just nature causing it. They're insane! Eating animals that never got to experience kindness and love equates to eating hate, and that can't ever be good!

Not only should we be vegan, we should start working towards finding ways to take nice animals out of torment because it's an act of kindness and a display of our character. Those who embrace torture usually end up being tortured. The who embrace love will inherit it. It's a choice of how you wish to be treated. In addition to being a vegan, I always want to try to find ways to take these creatures out of torment. When I saved my dog from being ran over by a semi, and then I took him in and gave him a home, that was an act of love. All of my life, I've owned dogs. When I was a small child, I had a dog that actually did save my life. She was so beautiful and I still miss her. I don't embrace any hate because I choose love instead! I am so proud of being vegan! It gives me the feeling of “being part of a greater cause” - against animal cruelty, fire, ice melt-downs, climate change. There is no Planet B, we must behave!
If you mean from crop reaping, consider that there are many more wildlife animals being killed to grow crops to feed other animals which you then eat. Veganism is not perfect. Veganism strives to cause as little harm is as possible and practicable. Therefore, if you truly care about wildlife you would then become vegan.
Millions of acres of rainforest are being destroyed for soya production so this could be making the planet a lot worse since we will have a lot more carbon emissions

As a native Texan, I grew up eating a lot of tacos and bbq. After questioning where our food comes from, I am disgusted and disappointed in these corporations and the FDA that not only allow harsh living and dying conditions, but force farmers to mistreat animals like they’re disposable trash. 😡😢 It breaks my heat to see how animals are disrespected. Along with the ocean pollution and overfishing, this is what brought me to my transition into veganism. I love me some fried chicken, birria tacos, and bbq, but if it means contributing to the cruelty that our world has placed on the environment and animals, then I’m out ✌🏼
Be proud of Texas, there used to be no vegan restaurants. Now not only is there vegan restaurants there is a vegan grocery store. At least in Dallas Texas has come along way, we still have ways to go. I’m gonna be proud we actually have a to offer now.

Great video. Main thing is to eat sensibly. So many things can be considered vegan, but it doesn’t mean it’s good for your body. Pay close attention to what you consume and control yourself. Whole food plant based diet is my recommendation if health is of concern.

There will come a time where what we fight for becomes a reality...and that's because of each and every one of us who chose the right path, the peaceful, non-violent, cleaner, sustainable path.
Current fave would be, black beans , red lentils , green beans , broccoli , or cauliflower, 2 veggies , potatoes or sweet or both. Then i cook it in my instant pot. Then add greens when done cooking and spices and what ever sauce, you can even make your own~!! :) I try and build this meal in a way where i get what Dr Gregor says his daily dozen food items to eat everyday. Just a huge bowl of food with all kinds of goodness !!

You might want to stay on the same diet AND ADD SOME EGGS, FISH LIKE SALMON, AND TURKEY to your diet (unless you have a food allergy/sensitivity to any of those). Why?: I was vegan for 2 years AND IT WRECKED MY HEALTH. Not everyone is going to thrive on a vegan diet, and actually 99% will NOT thrive on it long-term (meaning 10 years +). I just have 2 words for you: OXALATES & COLLAGEN. Do your research and don´t make the same mistakes I made. You are better off getting a food intolerances / food allergies test done (a comprehensive one) and finding out what YOUR BODY actually needs - there really is no 1-SIZE-FITS-ALL. "Oh, but look at all those UA-camrs that are vegan and they look great!!!" you may say - DO THEY??? Have you seen "Raw Kristina"´s photos, before and after?? Ellen Fisher´s?? Even the ones that look OK because they have only been "in" for a few years will have their health going down one way or another BIG TIME in years to come. It´s heartbreaking. And, by the way, I DID MY RESEARCH FOR A YEAR AND A HALF, CONSULTED VEGAN NUTRITIONISTS, READ ALL THE BOOKS, ETC. BEFORE I went on a full plant-based diet. So I wasn´t just going in blindly. @@ashleymitchell8810 I would agree with Anna E. that you should get test done on what your allergies/intolerances are. My sister got one, and I kind of follow what hers says to avoid. I should get the test done for myself, but I figured since we are sisters, it is probably similar. I have been more plant based for about 2 months. I feel really good, but there definitely were times where I felt like I had no energy and was starving! I ate what I could at restaurants, lots of fruit, and a lot of junk food vegan products (daiya frozen pizza! Yum!) I got books from the library in the meantime, and slowly have been building up my knowledge on plant based recipes. Also, I have seen a lot of information on Instagram like what are good plant protein sources, iron sources, calcium sources, etc. There are even plant based recipes! Good luck and best wishes to you!

Don't be an unhealthy vegan.....PLANT BASED is key. There are soooooo many/tooooo many vegan processed foods full of salt/sodium, sugar, chemicals etc....misleading people. Save the Animals yes! Read the labels and limited intake of vegan fast foods/processed foods. Beware!

I got a rash on my body, I went to the doctor she prescribed me antiviral cream. I didn’t use it. I changed my diet to plant based diet. As soon as I changed my diet, within a week my rash disappeared. My skin started to glow, people started to ask me how I got this beautiful skin, I told them I changed my diet, by eating less carbs, and I am now vegan. It’s been 3 months since I’ve started my journey. I enjoy my life everyday. I am now able to sleep in the night comfortably, and waking up fresh without a struggle to do my daily duties.It’s a blessing from GOD becoming a vegan 😘❤️
That one koala- so badly burnt - and nowhere to run to without getting more flames on their skin. Just curling up and giving up. I've been a vegan for four years. I got the COVID-19 by July. It took a day of fever and chills. Next day I was up cleaning house after renovations. I survived without any issue. I'm almost 52..
Just before it was confirmed that Covid reached the UK, I had a single day in March of feeling like I had the worst flu ever. The next day I was completely fine, and I wondered a month later if it was Coronavirus. Also wondered if it could have been soooo much worse had I not been vegan 😥
Edna, did you get tested - are you sure it was Covid..... I had a fever the other day, just overnight, but had no idea what it was - I thought Covid symptoms lasted longer than that if you got them?
I did, I received the results two weeks later. I received a call from the health department. Tested positive and I knew it. I did have no smell or taste for four weeks though. No headache. But my 22 years old son had a bad headache fever chills, he tested positive too. Why you didn't get tested?
@@elvidp6475 Vegans don’t pay for wildlife animals to be killed, they pay for crops and in the process of producing crops some animals are inadvertently killed (still significantly less than producing livestock for food). I didn’t buy my plants so that animals would die, although some will by accident, I buy them because significantly less will die.
Remember change does not happen over night. We have been programmed to believe this from birth for most of us. I wish I had raised my children vegan. But was not enlightened at the time. It was me praying and asking God to help me and heal me of my asthma...then I started to research and that when I can across dairy and asthma.

On another note being vegan does not make one immune, lots of it has to do with stress and how healthy your mind is. Some people degenerate quicker than others not consuming essential cholesterol. Oliver Cromwell some vegans take supplements because they’re not eating what the should be. there’s a right and wrong way to do anything. and at least they’re not harming anyone else in the process. there’s several studies and plenty of research done that shows meat based diets are bad for you. an athlete may look healthy, but you don’t actually know their blood work would probably say different, high amounts of cholesterol more than likely put strain on their arteries

It's not a great documentary; it's a whole lot of lies and scaremongering along with a heap of brainwashing for the children to believe. Nothing will stop the fires in Australia, that would happen anyway. It has and always will happen, it's nature. Those trees have to burn. It's the only way they can reproduce. We're being poisoned by toxins to grow food that is killing the insects and life in the soil. The bees are being killed off and so are many of the birds because they can't live with this poison. What else has to die. If we lose all this life, what else is going to fertilize our vegetation? We can't do it by hand. We desperately need animals. This Film hits home with me... I've felt the need to change my eating habits after catching covid in march and being sick and bed ridden with Post viral syndrome for 5 months after. I went vegan 4 years ago I’m 19 now I did it on my own no help no nothing just a personal choice and let me tell you I caught this COVID shit and mannnnnn I had a fever for maybe 5 hour cans a soar throat for 3 days my whole family was doing much worse I work with my brother we repair pavers and stuff and man I was working alone with COVID and he was in bed still sick. of course I made sure to have no contact with the customers

Good for you! I went vegan at 19. Stayed on it for yrs. I did fall off the V-wagon & ate some cheese here and there. But mostly stayed vegan for a long time. Then, all these cheese alternatives started coming out. And beyond meat, etc. I think they're great! I'm 48 now, & besides some health issues I was born with (an inherited bone disease), I'm quite healthy. Good weight, good blood pressure, blood work is always good. I tell my dr it's because of my vegan lifestyle 👍

I know a bunch of people that have had covid with very mild symptoms - all meat eaters. By your logic, they could claim their carnism caused such strong immunity. It's a silly argument and people should stop making it. Until we have actual studies that look at large numbers of covid infections and outcomes compared across different dietary habits these types of anecdotes are meaningless.

I’ve been a vegetarian for 3 months now but I’m starting my vegan life today! I’ve felt like I was deceiving myself because I felt bad about eating eggs and dairy because I was an ethical vegetarian but this video really helped me transition.

I was feeling pretty sad thinking back at how I've only met 3 vegetarians and no vegans in my life, and no one else in my social circle thinks of meat-consumption as a problem. However, this video helped bring me hope that a wave of revelation (and revolution) is coming, we're just in the early stages of it! 5 years of vegetarianism and I'm committing myself to veganism this year. I have been vegan for almost 6 months. I am currently 80 years old, do not take a single pill. Normal blood pressure, total cholesterol below 140mg / dl, LDL less than 80mg / dl. Run and walk 4km5 daily. Mental clarity, good memory. The plan based diet is awesome. I am eagerly waiting for the film.

Not only should we be vegan, we should start working towards finding ways to take nice animals out of torment because it's an act of kindness and a display of our character. Those who embrace torture usually end up being tortured. The who embrace love will inherit it. It's a choice of how you wish to be treated. In addition to being a vegan, I always want to try to find ways to take these creatures out of torment. When I saved my dog from being ran over by a semi, and then I took him in and gave him a home, that was an act of love. All of my life, I've owned dogs. When I was a small child, I had a dog that actually did save my life. She was so beautiful and I still miss her. I don't embrace any hate because I choose love instead! This is the message that all vegans should be sending. The evil ones interpret that as us saying that we're sacrifices for them, but we should never be. We should defend ourselves intelligently as an act of protest against something or someone harming us. We are NOT sacrifices, but we ARE beings who choose lover INSTEAD of hate. This is the message I want to send with the way I live my life!

As a native Texan, I grew up eating a lot of tacos and bbq. After questioning where our food comes from, I am disgusted and disappointed in these corporations and the FDA that not only allow harsh living and dying conditions, but force farmers to mistreat animals like they’re disposable trash. 😡😢 It breaks my heat to see how animals are disrespected. Along with the ocean pollution and overfishing, this is what brought me to my transition into veganism. Great video. Main thing is to eat sensibly. So many things can be considered vegan, but it doesn’t mean it’s good for your body. Pay close attention to what you consume and control yourself. Whole food plant based diet is my recommendation if health is of concern.

Current fave would be, black beans , red lentils , green beans , broccoli , or cauliflower, 2 veggies , potatoes or sweet or both. Then i cook it in my instant pot. Then add greens when done cooking and spices and what ever sauce, you can even make your own~!! :) I try and build this meal in a way where i get what Dr Gregor says his daily dozen food items to eat everyday. Just a huge bowl of food with all kinds of goodness !!

I should get the test done for myself, but I figured since we are sisters, it is probably similar. I have been more plant based for about 2 months. I feel really good, but there definitely were times where I felt like I had no energy and was starving! I ate what I could at restaurants, lots of fruit, and a lot of junk food vegan products (daiya frozen pizza! Yum!) I got books from the library in the meantime, and slowly have been building up my knowledge on plant based recipes. Also, I have seen a lot of information on Instagram like what are good plant protein sources, iron sources, calcium sources, etc. There are even plant based recipes!

I got a rash on my body, I went to the doctor she prescribed me antiviral cream. I didn’t use it. I changed my diet to plant based diet. As soon as I changed my diet, within a week my rash disappeared. My skin started to glow, people started to ask me how I got this beautiful skin, I told them I changed my diet, by eating less carbs, and I am now vegan. It’s been 3 months since I’ve started my journey. I enjoy my life everyday. I am now able to sleep in the night comfortably, and waking up fresh without a struggle to do my daily duties.It’s a blessing from GOD becoming a vegan 😘❤️

Just before it was confirmed that Covid reached the UK, I had a single day in March of feeling like I had the worst flu ever. The next day I was completely fine, and I wondered a month later if it was Coronavirus. Also wondered if it could have been soooo much worse had I not been vegan 😥

Edna, did you get tested - are you sure it was Covid..... I had a fever the other day, just overnight, but had no idea what it was - I thought Covid symptoms lasted longer than that if you got them?
I did, I received the results two weeks later. I received a call from the health department. Tested positive and I knew it. I did have no smell or taste for four weeks though. No headache. But my 22 years old son had a bad headache fever chills, he tested positive too. Why you didn't get tested?
And the sad thing is some people will watch this and still think it's their right to eat animals.

I didn’t buy my plants so that animals would die, although some will by accident, I buy them because significantly less will die.
Remember change does not happen over night. We have been programmed to believe this from birth for most of us. I wish I had raised my children vegan. But was not enlightened at the time. It was me praying and asking God to help me and heal me of my asthma...then I started to research and that when I can across dairy and asthma.

It's not a great documentary; it's a whole lot of lies and scaremongering along with a heap of brainwashing for the children to believe. Nothing will stop the fires in Australia, that would happen anyway. It has and always will happen, it's nature. Those trees have to burn. It's the only way they can reproduce. We're being poisoned by toxins to grow food that is killing the insects and life in the soil. The bees are being killed off and so are many of the birds because they can't live with this poison. What else has to die. If we lose all this life, what else is going to fertilize our vegetation? We can't do it by hand.
We desperately need animals. Nature is the circle of life and veganism is killing the world off.

This Film hits home with me... I've felt the need to change my eating habits after catching covid in march and being sick and bed ridden with Post viral syndrome for 5 months after. I went vegan 4 years ago I’m 19 now I did it on my own no help no nothing just a personal choice and let me tell you I caught this COVID shit and mannnnnn I had a fever for maybe 5 hour cans a soar throat for 3 days my whole family was doing much worse I work with my brother we repair pavers and stuff and man I was working alone with COVID and he was in bed still sick. of course I made sure to have no contact with the customers

Good for you! I went vegan at 19. Stayed on it for yrs. I did fall off the V-wagon & ate some cheese here and there. But mostly stayed vegan for a long time. Then, all these cheese alternatives started coming out. And beyond meat, etc. I think they're great! I'm 48 now, & besides some health issues I was born with (an inherited bone disease), I'm quite healthy. Good weight, good blood pressure, blood work is always good. I tell my dr it's because of my vegan lifestyle 👍
Wish I knew this at an early age ... But it’s not too late ... I started few months ago due to my doctors recommendation n and I was able to reversed all my medical conditions and free of all medical drugs for life .
I know a bunch of people that have had covid with very mild symptoms - all meat eaters. By your logic, they could claim their carnism caused such strong immunity. It's a silly argument and people should stop making it. Until we have actual studies that look at large numbers of covid infections and outcomes compared across different dietary habits these types of anecdotes are meaningless.

Yes all vegans need to wake up and realize you still pay for wildlife animals to be killed , If you are truely in it for the animals don't eat anything at all then nothing will be killed

Just yesterday i was wondering if when is Vegan 2020 film gonna premiere, note that i was re-watching Vegan 2019, and now this?! This is going to be more eye opening especially of our current situation. Yay! 😆

I’ve been a vegetarian for 3 months now but I’m starting my vegan life today! I’ve felt like I was deceiving myself because I felt bad about eating eggs and dairy because I was an ethical vegetarian but this video really helped me transition.

It's nature and there's nothing that can be done about it. Those trees need to burn in order to open their seeds. They have to burn and the fires are natures way of keeping the forests going. Lightening started it, it's all down to nature. People saved as many animals as could be saved. I know, I was there.

I was feeling pretty sad thinking back at how I've only met 3 vegetarians and no vegans in my life, and no one else in my social circle thinks of meat-consumption as a problem. However, this video helped bring me hope that a wave of revelation (and revolution) is coming, we're just in the early stages of it!
5 years of vegetarianism and I'm committing myself to veganism this year. I've never felt better. Thank you for your video :)
