what if initially, i dont have record types, and then i created 2 record types, what will happened to the exisiting record? is it going to map to the record type I created?
For custom object u have created path on some picklist but now I modify that,I dont want to see all the in the picklist can we apply sales process for that
If your question is what happens to the Path after you change the picklist values then the answer is that the Path will automatically update depending on your picklist values. and it will show the values based on record type of the record on which Path is on. By Sales path, do you mean the custom object path? or the Opportunity object path? Please Let me know if this helps or if you any other questions.

If you have a pick list then you can add to any page, they would g be called sales path per say but chevrons
I don't want all the picklist values in stage in salesforce path.... For example I have 6 picklist value but I only want 5 in my sales path . Is it possible in salesforce?
Hmm not out of the box … you would have to remove it from that record type picklist. Potentially you can look for some components in app exchange

Hi, I’m not sure if I understand your question. You can’t create path in process builder. Did you mean flow? Also did this video not help?
How can I add a 2nd sales path for opportunities?
Hi Adam, I dont believe that is possible unless you want to add same path twice on the same page, which would kind of useless. If you have more than one record types for the Opportunity, then you can create Path for each record type and whatever picklist you choose to use. And then when you add it to the page, it will show the Path corresponding to the record type.
OK, I figured it out. Thanks! Awesome video, by the way. One more question ... I accidentally put a couple stages out of order on a couple processes. How can I change their order? I can't figure it out anywhere.
Adam, You can arrange the order by rearranging the order in the picklist field that you are using. Go to the detail page of the picklist field and click on Reorder. You might need to refresh your page a few times to see the changes. or Log out and log in. Thanks!
