- I briefly talk about the Quote to Cash process, here is the blog that digs more into this topic: www.salesforce...

This is also super useful for Sales Cloud certification. Let me know if you have more questions!
Hey Pratima, Wonderful video on Order management stuff especially on Sales cloud. This is one of the rare videos I found on youtube. Especially, Order management is generally found on Commerce cloud and CPQ package and the new aspirants can not practice on Sales cloud. This simplifies the process with respect to Standard objects like Quote, Order, and Contract. I would also like to see what are plausible Use cases to use the automation tools like Flow on these objects.
Glad it was helpful! Sure next time
Pratima you crushed this. Super helpful!
very helpful. I like how you explain. Thanks
Excellent video.
When "Contracted" check box is checked on Order or Opportunity, Contract is created automatically, if they have subscription products.
On Opportunity (Closed-won) and Order
Check box on Subscription Order/Opportunity to create "Subscription Contract"
Check box on One-time purchase Order/Opportunity to create "Asset"
Hey Pratima, Thank you for sharing your knowledge on us which is really helpful.
Can you please share the miro board that you have explained in the video.
Thank You.
Thanks, this is very helpful
You can "Sync" quote and related Opportunity by checking "Sync" check box on the quote. If this checked, you can add lines the either Quote or Opportunity; and the quote the other object gets updated accourdingly; mainting the syn.
While a quote and an opportunity are synced, any addition or change to the list of products in one record syncs with the list of products in the other one. Adding or removing a line item from a quote updates the synced opportunity’s Products related list. Adding or removing a product from the opportunity updates the synced quote’s Quote Line Items related list. Product sorting also syncs between the two records. The quote and opportunity continue to sync each way until you stop syncing or delete one of the records.
You can sync quotes and opportunities that don’t have any products. When you add a product to either record, it’s automatically added to the record that it’s synced to.
If an opportunity and a quote are synced, the opportunity identifies the synced quote in the following places.
The Synced Quote field on the Opportunity detail page
The Syncing checkbox in the Quotes related list
Amazing!
Hi Pratima, I had one request. Can u please similarly, like the above video, do a life cycle video for Sales Cloud & CPQ in 2 different videos. Please. Your above video helped me a lot. Would really be very helpful if you fulfill my small request.
Hi, can you explain how to create the flow to automatically populate the products from the quote onto the order?
@@BrynHaydock you would need to first query the product line items from quote then take them through a loop adding them onto an order line item collection variable then insert out of the loop.
You can also use transform element perhaps.
I will try to make a video on this
@@PratimaShri Thanks, any update on a video?

@@PratimaShri Thank you so much!
Hi ,is there a way to create a dynamic template with merge fields for when sending email quotes, so I do not have to enter Subject or email body each time.If yes, is it possible to attach the PDF to the email template. Currently when I add a template it overrides the send email quote which removes the PDF Quote.
Hey Pratima,, a quick question: is the demo in a standard salesforce environment or CPQ?
This is a regular sales force without cpq
