Our vision is a prosperous Appalachia, free from addiction. Donate here to support our mission: healingappalac...
Healing Appalachia's mission is to produce events that help connect and grow communities of recovery and healing in Appalachia, raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects and programs from youth prevention, healthy lifestyles and wellness to recovery houses and recovery to work. Like Farm Aid does to raise awareness and funds for America’s small, sustainable family farms, we want to bring together folks to raise funds and awareness to celebrate recovery through our main event Healing Appalachia each September, and work year-round on more projects fostering communities of recovery.
I just recently discovered Tyler. I have no idea why he is not a household name. One of a kind. He is so far ahead of his time while being behind the times in a wonderful way.
Here in Appalachia he is a household name lol everyone knows Tyler Childers. He’s been our little secret for years.
He IS amazing! I LOVE listening to Tyler ❤
He’s a household name here in southern Appalachia.
Try getting tickets!
Heck i only found him yesterday from tik tok!!! I've been listening allllnight and day and sharing. Wow❤
If country radio played country music Tyler Childers would have 20 # one hits. Best thing to happen to my ears sense Waylon! Keep gettin it man!
This is BAD ASS plain and simple!!!
This dude made my sister teach herself how to play the ukulele an all she plays is Tyler Childers song lol killer inspirational man
He's the reason I really got into guitar. I just love listening and singing his songs so much. My goal is to start a Tyler Childers cover band😂
Childers on a Uke? I bet that sounds interesting. I’ve tried Feathered Indians on my Mandolin and its killer
On the uku with a low G string bit of a southern twangy thang lol (the sister who play here lol)
Yea he has made me fill 3 notebooks full of his music to play love them all

He definitely is ‘round my house…
My 5 year old and 2 year old stop whatever they are destroying when he comes on and they just listen, can't get them to listen to me or their mom but Tyler puts them in a trance, no shit
I wish healing appalachia would get more recognition. I live in the Tri-state area around Huntington WV and see so many people in need. I try to inform folks about the cause as much as possible. Hopefully this organization will be recognized across the great state of West Virginia by everyone some day.
Huntington should be reaching out to be a bigger music scene, it could have so much potential
Southeast ohio here and I have to agree with you. Drugs have taken over out areas and people need help. I was one of them people hooked on drugs. I have 2 years clean and prying everyone still stuck in addiction can find their way to sobriety
I couldn’t fucking agree more I’m in Australia and mate I tell you what fairdinkum what a channel

Between him, Sturgill Simpson, and Chris Stapleton Kentucky has been killing it with the newer country artists.

I haven’t liked country music since I was a kid. This took me back. Thank you for GOOD country music ❤
I love this damn song it reminds me of my husband he was from Kentucky loved him dearly lost him to cancer 18 months ago but such good memories
Damn that ending blew my mind
This is my favorite song and i cant stop listening to it now. Its kinda becoming a condition now 🫨
That ending was the craziest thing I’ve heard in a Tyler Childers song 🤘
Started listening to Tyler about a year ago and can't stop amazing voice.
"Darling to me but it's Mrs. to you" ❤
Incredible life performance by all of them. That slide solo was nuts! They were jamming and Tyler’s voice was on point as always
I only found your music yesterday. And I love it. All the way from Ireland. You have a new fan
He’s a true poet his music it’s hard to truly understand sometimes unless your from eastern KY
We understand from Western KY too brother we got some hollers over here too
4:21 this is a man in love.

Beasts
You have such a beautiful voice!!! Follow you to Virgie is the first song I heard. My sweet friend Amanda in eastern Ky sang it beautifully. Then she gave me your name. I looked you up and I'm hooked. Your music is so powerful and true. She has 27 people at her house after the flood. She shared the pic when you came to help. Thanks so much!!! I'm your newest fan!
Tyke is a home town hero for sure for all of us eastern my boys and girls I’m now in Tennessee but everyone one I know young and old love his music

When is the next album being released?
Talk about change ur look??!! Lol
Taking it back to his roots. I dont care how my favorite artists ‘look’ just had to comment because its like a completely different person (if unfamiliar with his early work) ….till u hear that voice. 🥳
He looks like a kid all cleaned up
Best version of this is red barn radio everyone knows that
Do tell…🤔

Never mind. I found it 👍
@@AML032809 tell me it isn’t 🔥
What is his fiddle player’s name?
Young Rhett Miller vibes in a way
Tyler needs his beard back
Not to be crazy but that doesn't really look like tyler. Go back a bit. Look at his old videos. Somthing changed with long violent
He stopped drinking and doing drugs
He’s still the same.No one has a voice quite like Tyler’s.
I feel like his facial expressions are that of a serial killer and they don’t match up with the songs sometimes lmao. Still can’t stop listening tho
Jason Aldean couldn't carry Timmys jockstrap in a suitcase or any other of these modern day wanna be country dudes besides Jamey Johnson and Sturgil Simpson

Great songs but I loved his earlier stuff before he loaded up on the bawlin' cuntry sound...... He should stick to acoustic.... Tyler on guitar........get a harmony vocal/picker who could do mando/fiddle/dobro, and a bass fiddle picker who could do harmony too........ Would be much more appealing for his songs!.......... his early stuff playin solo is much better than this..... He's def good enough to get away with draggin' around a big whiney, full-blown steel-playin', belly rubbin-outfit, and still exist................ however I wouldn't take a free ticket to it..... but would pay $50 to hear the trio I'm talkin about...... hope he realizes that this isn't the music which lit the fires of most his fans.......... pretty certain he knows he's changed the doctrine..... his expressions for the past couple years have not looked like he was comfortable at all. He used to be carefree and real!!!!!!!!!!!
Waltz? Huh? 👎💩
This version has zero soul in it from Tyler honestly
Where is the full recording ?
