  • Chase Bliss Lossy - Mind Blown
I just received my Chase Bliss lossy and decided to record my first 5 minutes to see what it sounded like, and boy what an experience it was.
I really did not know what I was doing but was pulling all sorts of sounds from sitars to analog sawtooth wave sounding pads, huge textural soundscapes that I have never been able to pull before.
The sounds were just lossy and a bit of delay and verb from the Meris LVX.
After watching the promotional videos I was not sure if I would use the types of sounds that this pedal makes, particularly for the things I do, but decided to give it a try and took the plunge, and I am so glad I did.
This things coupled with other pedals is a sounddesignes dream, it does so so much more than what was on the initial tutorial video, it is a sonic playground, and I dont even know what I'm doing yet.
I'm sure Lossy can replicate the sounds of 90's digital artefacts and so on, but the ever evolving freeze mode with filters to me is what makes this pedal super special.
Forgive the poor quality sound, in my studio it sounded like I was being transported to another dimension and I wasn't even playing anything on my Warr guitar.
The sound had a life and energy of its own.
Thank you @ChaseBlissAudio Lossy has been the biggest and most enjoyable surprise of the year, followed closely by the Mood Mk2.
The pedals you imagine and create are the fuel for my next sonic adventure and I could not be happier.
Stay tuned for some Epic Warr guitar adventures featuring chase bliss sounds and the Warr Guitar.

Throwing this out there, I’d love to see a breakdown of your pedal board. I recognize some of the names, but not all of them. How do you use them and for what effects? Thank you so much!

Thanks Alexander. Thanks for your comment.
I’ll try find some time between things to do a short vid that gives you what you are looking for.
My pedalboard has been designed as an aid to spark creativity, and as such I don’t think of the pedals as devices for specific sounds, they are looked at as ingredients that when combined might fire some new musical ideas.
Will let you know when I have a vid posted that talks through things

@@FinbarOhanlon even hearing your philosophy when it comes to the pedal board is super helpful. I love the ingredients metaphor. If you ever wanted to do a breakdown of how you approach sound creation, bring inspired, and auditory exploration, I imagine people would love to watch it. I would, at least. Thank you so much for the great content! I discovered you from your Maschine dawless videos and have been watching your vids a lot of the past couple days! Big fan. Thank you for your wonderful mind and creative spark ✨

HI Alexander, I did a quick video showing a more detailed example of how I get ideas using this board at the following link.

It’s in the Morningstar ML10x mate so I can position it where I want
In this clip it was right at the front
In this clip I had Lossy, Mood MK2 and Meris LVX running in that order.
MOOD smeared Verb, LVX patch 7 delays
