Love it! Funny how 45 years ago I'd have heard this on the radio on the local FM station, then headed out on my BMX bike to the neighborhood record store to try to find it on cassette (didn't have a record player til later). Dang I miss those days.
I used to ride my BMX bike to the record store in the winter. I'd ride back home with a bag of albums zipped up under my coat!

Just saw you guys on Timcast, great show! So HAPPY Dicky is making new music. Great band too! The Mighty Mighty Bosstones is still the soundtrack of my life. Dicky is one of the best story tellers in music, period.
This band is absolutely amazing. I mean Greg Camp from Smash Mouth, Dicky Barrett from The Mighty Mighty Bostones Some of my favorite ska bands this song and band is awesome!

Just guessing, but I think the nostalgia is due to the fact that, for the first time in decades, a talented band is putting out good counterculture music, rather than just being a musical mouthpiece for The Machine.

I traded in my car to a dealership last November and once I signed the papers I went to get the last few things out the trunk of the car I was trading and found my Defektor CD that I'd bought years ago and lost. I couldn't believe it. It was the fourth happiest day of my life. For what it's worth, hearing this was the third happiest.
So happy you guys got together to be the non-compliant, rebel, spokesmen band we need now!

This song just feels mid-90s….and I so love it! Brought me back to seeing the Bosstones, The Offspring, & Smashmouth live shows and how much fun they were. Dicky’s voice still sounds great. Totally can’t wait til the full album….and maybe tour??? I’d be excited for it.
