I suffer from hair loss in the same area I've been to dermatologists and several doctors the only solution that they came up with is that it is hereditary I asked my mother, aunts and grandmother about it.. Come to find out we all suffer from the same problem. The women in my family tend to have something like a receding hairline but in the back of our head if that makes sense. Also during one of my doctor's visits I discovered I was deficient in vitamin B and D which also contributed to hair thinning and breakage in spontaneous areas of my head. I started taking vitamins in about 2 months later my hair started flourishing. I got my hair cut into a bob and it took 8 months to grow back completely healthy.
Wow her hair is thick and beautiful!!!! I need a good stylist who cares about the condition of the clients' hair, but you are 3.5 hours away. Your hands are 🙌🏾 ❤❤❤
My hair used to be like that in the back when I did braids. I found my nape was allergic to synthetic hair. So when I switched to only human hair and healthy hair moisturizing my hair grew in the back to catch up with the rest of my hair.
Beautiful hair and results ❤ advice for nape breakage, constantly wearing buns/ponytails, tight headbands, not wearing a bonnet/scarf/silk or satin pillowcase to bed, does she wear hoodies often? it could be rubbing against her hair and causing friction, vitamin and/or mineral deficiency, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, and certain stying products could be the culprit. it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what’s causing the issue but it may help to look into all of these.
I had my sister cut a couple of inches off my hair back in September. It was worth it and since my hair grows fast it's getting to the same length it was at
My hair use to do that when I was using cotton materials on my head like scarfs. Wood materials would do the same thing. Once I figure it out it started growing back strong.
Her hair is so beautiful she did come to the right person I believe the nape of her head is a stress area maybe that is why it is breaking off. Keep doing what she is doing just keep it washed and add light hair oils to it.
I struggled with this ongoing issue at the back of my head, which caused me a fair bit of concern. After some consideration, I decided to consult a dermatologist for a professional opinion. During my visit, we discussed the symptoms in detail, and the dermatologist recommended a series of injections as part of the treatment plan. Thankfully, after starting the injections, I noticed a significant improvement. It’s been over ten years now, and I haven’t experienced that problem again.
I wanted to mention that I received B12 injections to boost my energy levels and support my overall health. Additionally, I've been taking zinc supplements to help with my immune system, along with vitamin D to maintain strong bones and immune function. I've also been incorporating a daily multivitamin to ensure I'm getting a comprehensive range of nutrients for my well-being.
My hair did this previously. During that time, I was laying down mostly due to health reasons. Hers could be a number of reasons. Your other client sounds like it's internal and she needs to see all dermatologist for it. I cut it even and braided mine and treated it like a newborn lol while it was in that stage. It stayed in a braid most of the time no matter the style. I'd braid it after I got it silk pressed as well. It grew back fairly quickly with this approach.
There can be a numer culprits in causing her nape to break off: low iron, bonnet elastic, headscarf or how the hair is braided. Once she finds the culprit she needs to treat hair nape area differently section it off and be very careful thats how I got mine to grow back.
@@JanayMickles My pleasure. I forgot to mention, she should think about using a satin wrap cap to keep her in in place when she is sleeping and stop any excessive rubbing on her fragile nape.
I’m not a professional but if she uses a hard bristle brush for her nape of her hair and brush it before bed then add her a conditioner oil mixture and wrap her hair it will brake the skin so the mixture can penetrate her follicular tissue and help it grow. Do it at least 2 times out the week. Also trim those lil pieces I know they not long but it a help knock of the dead ends n pull the growth out faster.
@wabbywabs3436 0 seconds ago If she wears wool in the cooler months and another culprit could be turtlenecks. Also encourage her to use a microfiber hair towel to dry her hair after washing because normal bath towels can be rough on her hair also. The fact that her hair is breaking and not balding is good. Be care about the braids too. Too tight and sleeping on them, sitting on them or anything pulling at them can have an affect or also leaning the back of her head on a chair while not in a protective style will also cause breakage. Hope these tips help. On a good note, the rest of her hair seems really healthy and beautiful so that’s a huge plus.
You did a really good job but I was just curious I just saw you just trim the back of it did you cut into the hair are you just trimmed around the perimeter the hair came out beautiful though
Make sure to ask her if she's wearing any wool sweaters or garments at work or something like that because wool will take your whole nape out. Just a thought ❤
Is she on any medications? Have low iron or diabetic? Those can cause hair thinning and/or breakage. She may want to have some tests done. Also, it could be too much manipulation like tight ponytails, braids, etc. A lot of time when my clients experience this it’s due to health issues. I’m a licensed cosmetologist.
She came to the right one! Her hair is definitely in good hands!!! 🙌

Congratulations to you on taking the extra steps to find the problem. ❤
Her hair is so thick and pretty 😍

Girl, I'd take one wknd out the month to make that trip! I'm in Chicago, but if she were in Indianapolis, I'd take that 3hr drive lol
4:45-I'm all about the trim! It’s my favorite part. So satisfying!
It turned out beautiful as usual.😊
Healthy hair it looks fantastic
Beautiful work! My mom said for the undercut you should clip the ends and braid it. No one will see the braids and it will allow the hair to grow.

OMG Janay!!! You gave life to her hair and she was given back her confidence. Great Job, Beautiful Job!!!! ❤
Tip for the nape area, deep conditioning is a must, keeping that area hydrated and lubricated with serum and use a silk scarf when sleeping
Her hair looks gorgeous but she needs to see a dermatologist in a nutrition and they can tell her what's going on with her hair❤

Mines the same way

For all the lady’s who nape look like this do mini braids or twist and I promise it will grow ‼️

Well she needed to get rid of all that damaged hair. No choice here. And girls the difference a hair cut can make is amazing

What heat temp did you use for the flat iron? This came out lovely.
Thank you! 430
Yes it do🦋😘
LOVE GIRLFRIENDS!!!
Maybe also, avoid collars on shirts so less friction/rubbing on the neck area
I have eczema on my nape
Check her iron levels. Low iron can cause breakage in the nape area
You did a really good job but I was just curious I just saw you just trim the back of it did you cut into the hair are you just trimmed around the perimeter the hair came out beautiful though
Thank you! She didn’t need her interior cut if I remember correctly. She didn’t want layers and there was no damage in the interior.
Make sure to ask her if she's wearing any wool sweaters or garments at work or something like that because wool will take your whole nape out. Just a thought ❤
💣💣💣💣💣
❤❤❤
YESSSSSS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!💦🖤💎🖤💦🖤💎🖤💦
Her nape might have a different growth cycle
She needs hydration in the back Every other day and a satin scarf to separate the her straight hair from the Back. Because it’s probably drier there.
The solution is a UA-camr named, Cyn doll.
❤❤❤😊😊
😻♥️😻
🥰🥰😍😍

May I ask which hairspray did you use before curling her hair? @janay mickles
