I’m a revert and I recently started looking into the different perspectives of the many different Sunni groups, The hanafi madhab seems very reasonable. May Allah bless yous and guide me and us all to the right path

Excellent point. Another response is the verse, It is in Quran - "Fa ainama tuwallu fathamma wajhullahi" Wherever you turn you will find the face of Allah (SWT)'. Why don’t the salafi take this literally like they take uluwwiyyah of Allah. If the reinterpret wagh here why is that suddenly not taweel and rejection of ALlahs self attribute that his face is in every direction. This makes their principles inconsistent.

@@khiladiincorporated6286 it’s pretty clear ALlah transcends creation. Time and space simply don’t apply to him. Traditional ulema all realized that. These verses shouldn’t be taken literally as you end up in contradiction. They only make sense if Allah transcends. Wahdatul wujood is more to do with creation being nothing and nonexistent rather than Allah being on creation.

@@khiladiincorporated6286 i agree with 1, salafis interpret it as well by being literal , however. I think you are misunderstanding wahdatul wujood. There is nothing spacial about it. Ibn arabi basically says ALlah is Ahad meaning he is alone. Alone meaning nothing else exists in reality. One realizes wahdatul wujood when in a state of fana. Fana means annihilation. A state where all creation ceases to exist and all that’s left is Allah. Kulu shai in haalikun I’ll wajhah. Meaning a time is coming where it’ll be only ALlah everything else destroyed and Allah is beyond time and space so in reality only Allah exists. Imam rabbani perspective was this is wahdatushuhood meaning it’s just the feeling and experience that the only thing that exists is Allah although really creation does exist.

"Allah existed while/when there was no space", that would indicate that Allah even existed when there was no time and space for us humans. OK, Salaf say Allah is above the heavens on His Throne (according to Quran/Hadith), But now we have time and space and this is something we cannot ignore. Would you say Allah is everywhere and nowhere (both words include the word "where" which only makes sense in connection with space). Don't forget that the Mu'min will be able to see Allah in the Akhira. How would it be possible to see Allah, when He the Allmighty is beyond space?
We Muslims believe in the unseen, there are things we cannot explain, but Allah makes it easy for us to grasp the most essential parts of our religion.
Why would Allah tell us in the Quran that He is above the Heavens on his Throne? This is adressed to us. To read that and say "no he his not above the heavens, he is beyond space...."
We Humans are very limited, so it is impossible to understand infinity.
However if Allah wills, we will be able to see Him when we are in jannah.
