This was the incredibly busy Winchester Auto Barn, which I attended in my Cobra replica. I knew it would get busy so arrived a little early, to be fortunate enough to receive one of the few last spaces inside. I captured all the chaos at this, my absolute favourite type of car meet!

I legit thought he was saying Autobahn until I realized he was saying Auto Barn.
But man despite the rush this meet looks fun as heck
i was there got 3 points and £100 fine for accelerating a bit when overtaking a bunch of cyclists. police there ar eidiots.
I think it goes to show how many people wanted to get out of the house and drive their cars. That's awesome! Thanks for sharing!
and why no crimes or being solved ................as all the police or at car shows
The BBC are just doing a hit peice on meets,you wait !,won't be long until the government stop it,I dont go to car meets,but I think its cool,the government have to ruin it for everyone.

@@respectfully1664 You've never been to cars and coffee then I guess, at-least in Perth there's quite a scene. Reguarly pushing hundreds of cars, custom cars and coffee at the motorplex hit around 1000 a few months back.

Nice! Be safe on the road and know your own abilities. I know of too many young drivers who've crashed and/or written off car in their first month or so of driving.

The Number 8 Dax Cobra, I ran along side him on the M3 in my Civic once on my way home from work. Sounded sublime! Chap driving it was sound and gave me a ‘thumbs-up’ at my appreciation. Great vid!

@@Malc180s If you got burgled, assaulted or something else, would you be more pissed off if all the bobbies were off doing this, though^^^ ? It annoyed me that my motocross bike got stolen and the Police refused to come out, just gave me a crime number.

That police turn out was poor.. Should try N'yorks.... Scarborough police treat it like a mass casualty incident.
Couple of years back they had over 50 units out for a 100 car meet..
And then blamed the meet for the traffic... that they caused by blocking off the roads.....
Would love to have seen some of those beauties in action though...

That "thing" at 6:27 is, i believe, a Volkswagon Kubelwagon. Used to see them a lot in dub shows back in the 90s.

We all know they're replicas. They're the most commonly-replicated cars, I want people to know it's a rep, but it's just easier to say 'Cobra' in passing quotes.

I don’t know what they have more of. Ego or money. As I say I only have a 1.0 EcoBoost (or as I like to call it “EvoBoost” which sounds better) and I’m sick of people in flashy supercars and sportscar’s intimidating me. Which they do. And for what? To show us all how much bigger, better and more successful they are than the rest of us? That’s why if I’m first in the queue at lights I like to zoom off as quickly as possible in first gear to about 300rpm if the car behind is an Audi A4 S Line or something like that when the lights turn green.
I feel so sorry for that learner in the red Ford Ka at 5:56. I would not be in the middle of it all for anything. My heart goes out to them. My thoughts and prayers are with them at this time. Anyone want to raise awareness? I’m thinking about asking the BBC to broadcast a live 5 hour charity show like Children In Need where celebrities do all kinds of zany and fun things to raise money for people who own ordinary cars who find themselves surrounded by cars like TVRs, Lamborghinis, Mustang’s, Ferraris and Golf GTIs.

That traffic que reminded me of the broke boys meet last year now that was one hell of a poorly managed show absolute embarrassment to be fair

The only thing I wouldn't like is having a gate I need into blocked. Besides that there are towns I've driven through with worse parking that goes without issue daily, this was a single event. As long as they're not littering and not scaring livestock or trespassing, I wouldn't have an issue with an event like this in my area. I live on much narrower roads though so roadside parking isn't possible here. That being said, a neighbour's funeral had cars all down one side of the road including on a blind bend with probably too little room for anything bigger than a Transit. Would you want me to pull out the muck spreader or slurry tanker for that?
I would have liked organisers to manage the traffic a bit better, assuming it was all stationary in the various directions for a while given people were out of their cars talking at the roadside, although they could have just been very impatient and got out after 5 minutes, so I can't say how annoying it would actually have been from all that's shown in this video. I would be more annoyed with the police not doing anything to help them sort out the traffic if they were there for any time before it cleared itself, and for not popping some 'no parking' cones at my gates, the rest of the verge is free as long as they're not leaving tyre ruts or generally making a mess of it from it not being solid enough ground to really be parking on, as is often the case on our road, alongside us having daffodils planted in them too which I wouldn't want people driving over, but here it looked fine, especially if it followed a dry spell which generally means the ground is more solid.
@@markwright3161 He was taken the piss out the police for doing anything, no one as a right to make their ' fun' someone else's missery. What to play but your hands in your pockets and rent a private space to do. You have to ask how many that took part would have been happy for to happen on their street, after all their ' just having a laugh' so how could they complain 🙄

Yes, but he has blurred the number plates so it can't be used as evidence? I'm no expert, just brainstorming with you
@@Joseph_Gill they also have a new app available to send mobile footage of vehicles being enthusiastic and it gets analysed by the police and fines along with "driving without due care and attention" certificates sent through the post....terrifies myself as an enthusiastic motorcycle rider
@@stevenmurphy1291 just stay quiet and you'll avoid most if not all of that citizen reporting. Loud exhaust angers people and attracts WAY more attention to yourself if you are having a bit of fun.
I almost lost my license back when I had a loud car, I just constantly got pulled over and followed... Now I've accidentally flown by police well over the limit but they didn't notice because the car is quiet and looks stock (even though it's supercharged), and they weren't looking...
@@volvo09 loud exhausts are a mandatory at carmeets. Wouldn't even go to them if it weren't for the beautiful sounds.
