Thanks so much! 🥰💕 I did get the other books, but I have no idea where I set them. Lol (oh, I think maybe the sun porch 🤔 lol) That is such a sweet thing to say! There are a lot of us out there doing this, so that’s humbling to hear. ❤️ Thank you. 🥲
Hello, my friend! This area is going to be a normal stop, I think! The thrift store we visit on Thursday is so cute! 💕🤗 Thanks for hanging out with us!
I didn’t have much luck my first couple of visits to the Hartville Thrift, but I went back with my Aunt and our friend Carol last Friday… just wait until you see what I found then! 😬 😀 💕
Right, Karen!? My mom was an “Avon Lady” so some of it brings back memories. (I don’t recall all of the perfumes, but I used to love getting the tiny lipstick samples! 😊)
Thank you for all your hard work producing these videos for us to enjoy! Also, I should mention that you do your makeup beautifully! I wish I had your lovely complexion! See you Thursday. 😊
Thank you Sharron! It’s a bit of work for sure, so I truly appreciate that comment! 🥰 I’ve been into makeup since I was about 13 but I feel like the older I get (I’ll be 50 this year) the better I get at it… or maybe I’m just growing more comfortable in my skin. 😊 Thank you. 💕
Hello! I went back on Friday with Beth and Carol and had really great luck at the Hartville Thrift! It should definitely be a regular stop! We need a route where we can do bins and brunch, Tracy’s, Hartville, then home. 😂
Pick a cool day for that outdoor flea market... nothing like a good ol' stroll on black asphalt paved parking lots!!! I have a vanity just like yours... it's completely flat across the top... no cutout in the top. It belonged to my grandmother... who was born in 1900. My mother kept it, and passed it on to me when I moved into my first apartment. I think that style with the woodgrain (veneer) going from front to back was referred to as a "waterfall vanity"??? For some reason that popped into my 60 year old brain. It's been a while. But a cherished family piece. It's so fun when vendors get creative and display things in their sections in such beautiful vignettes. Nicely done. Those cranberry strands looked pretty realistic... although we do real fresh cranberries... so when the tree goes out in the back yard for a proper "retirement" the birds that are still here in December get a special fresh fruit treat. Antique Roadshow for the win!! Yay Amy... looks like fun. Sorry I'm so long-winded tonight... but this was an amazing video full of sooooo much good and fun stuff... and stuff I remember from being a young girl into womanhood. Thank you!! Hugs, Penny Sue (Just a disclaimer... yes, my maternal grandmother was born in 1900 (my maternal grandfather born in 1897)... my mother was an unanticipated addition in 1931... and I was born to her in 1962 and her ripe young age of 31, kind of unheard of in 1962 without some sort of panic as to what I would wind up being... being born to someone so "old". I kind of find some of the dates/timelines quite fascinating 💜💜
Believe me, I am not a sun and asphalt kind of girl! We will be there at 7am (if not earlier, and someplace cool for an early lunch! 🤗 When I went to the Springfield flea market, we were out each day by noon, and the afternoon was spent thrifting in the AC. 😂 Oh my gosh!! I love that you string real berries and feed them to the birds! 💕💕💕 I know some people string popcorn with cranberries, that’s always so sweet too! Listen lady, you can be “long winded” all you want! I’m here for it! 🤗💕
I will have to check out the flea market again! Love that Orange pig … he had your name on him! The Home brand is from Target according to my Google search but I couldn’t find any comps on him either! Fun video! 🐷🧡💓
I’ll look into the Target angle! Thanks! It’s so weird that I can’t find it anywhere! 🤷🏻♀️ I think we’re planning to go to the Memorial weekend flea (the big one.) 🤗
Your sense of humor is great! I can’t get that granny sewing image out of my mind lol! Also just want to say how much I enjoy your video format, sourcing, review and estimation of how much something may sell for, perfect wrap up. Thanks for sharing and the laughs 😂
Thank you, Kathy! I appreciate that! It definitely takes more time, but I enjoy the end result too. I was thinking about adding a 3rd video to my week, but may try a different format that will allow me to do less editing (one that I can produce quick.) Thoughts? 🤔💕
@@YOSOBOHO I think that’s a great idea! I’m always up for some more YoSoBoho content. 😍I think the nonstop video with less edits is nice because it’s like we are actually shopping with you.
Excellente!!! I felt a little jealous with the store you have close to your home!!! Hartville looks like a neat little city!! That flea market for the Summer is unbelievable!! Plus, the produce, I would buy soooo much of that! But the prices in that ole hardware shop converted to a thrift shop was the cheapest I have ever seen for a shop!! I couldn't live too close to there because I would be going to often!!! Your life has changed dramatically since you started your channel!!! I am very happy for you!!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼
The prices there could be dangerous, Kim. For sure! Just wait to see what I found when I went back last Friday!! That video will be in about 3 weeks! 🤗 Thank you, it’s definitely been a journey… a fun and unexpected one at that! I love that you’re on it with me! 💕🤗
Hi, Kat! I can see why! 😊 I didn’t have good luck there the first couple times I went, but this was a good trip and when we went back (last Friday) it was amazing! That video will be in about 3 weeks.
Right!?! 😆 I say the same thing about sugar and creamer sets, but I found 2 sets in the Goodwill bins this past weekend (one is a really nice score)… so I guess I should stop saying it! Haha!
I was just at the Hartville Thrift a couple weeks ago and wondered if you’d ever been! Their hard good prices are so low I have to restrain myself from buying too many things because “it’s only 30¢!”
I know, Megan! That’s what I kept saying! But I think I did pretty good. We went back last Friday and did even better! I had only been there a couple times before and didn’t have great luck, but I’ll be back again soon! Maybe I’ll bump into you! 🤗
The pig pitcher is so stinkin cute, I'm sure if it is not already sold, it will be soon. Home brand sounds familiar, I'll do some research. I got my package and I love it so much. It is by far my favorite thing I've bought from you, It looks exactly like Sam as a toddler, Brian and I went down memory lane for a while when I showed him the little guy. It holds place of pride in my curio cabinet.
Thanks for the email, Laura! That pig is making his voyage to a new home tomorrow! 🐷😬💕 I love that I found that little guy in the bottom of a bin and he brings you so much joy!! That’s the best part of doing what I do! ❤️ Big hug!
That looked like a fun trip. I have never shopped in Hartville. But a lot of people have said I should check it out sometime. I also want to go to Rogers sometime too. That book looks like a great reference guide to have.
I’ve never been to Rogers! We like the Pymatuning Flea Market too (that’s in your neck of the woods.) Hartville is becoming a new favorite. We went back with Carol on Friday and had even better luck!! 🤗 You should come down! 💕
First I though HOME was from Kmart. Looked at an old UA-cam video and didn't see HOME products. Will try again to see if I can find your pig pitcher. Blessings Always Amy ( Maybe a real old product from Kmart. I've seen that Home trademark before)
It’s such a mystery, Stephanie! 🤔🤷🏻♀️ Someone else said they thought it was a Target brand. But why isn’t it showing up in any searches?! Weird! If you figure it out, you should win a prize or something! 😆
I love the orange piggy!! He’s adorable 🧡 Are the cranberry beads wooden? I love them too! I can find good ones here at all. & would be interested in them. As a kid we would string popcorn & cranberries to hang on the tree. I don’t have the patience for that anymore… 😂❤
The cranberry breads are wood. I think they have some nice age to them. Send me an email if you’re interested and we’ll figure out how to get them to you. 🤗💕
Oh my gosh, Linda! That was an awesome piece! She seemed a bit wishy washy about it, but decided to take it. I guess I didn’t try hard enough to talk her out of it. 😂
Hi cutie. Been away for a while. Missed you. Nice place to be during a thunder storm. I would live in that second place. Yikes in so jealous of the places you have around you.
Suzy!! 🤗💕 Listen, I know how lucky I am. I’m starting to feel like my area of the world (Northeast Ohio) is a thrifting Mecca! Maybe I should start a tour or something! People can come here and I’ll just spend my days chauffeuring them to all the good places! 😊
Oh Chick, when I was in High School, there were at least a half-dozen girls in each class who wore sweet honesty. That stuff fouled the air for months, don't even smell it, it might turn you into a simpering idiot. Good times. To protect the beautiful embroidery piece, something thick enough to protect the corners, but smooth enough to not interfere with the stitching. denim would work really well I think, super soft leather also. You don't want to interfere with how it drapes either. If I come up with a better idea I'll let you know. It's gotta be something that won't bleed color onto the art if it gets wet. Cause we all know stuff happens. Nice thrift trip, thanks.
Haha! My mom sold Avon, but I don’t think she liked many of the scents… except Imari, that was her scent. Ok, I’ll keep my eye out for something a little padded. 🤗 I definitely don’t want to damage it. I don’t get sun in that window, so no fear of sun damage, at least.
Oh Oinks! In love with the orange piggy pitcher ❤️
He’s so great, Yvonne! I just can’t believe that I can’t find any info on him! 🤔 🐽 😊
