I love how Rachel is the only co-host who will stand up to Dave 😅
Haha yes. Rachel has zero fear of Dave, we love to see it 😆
Most adult children learn to push back on their parents respectfully. I loved seeing their relationship in this way. lol she’s def his kid.
It's alot harder to fire her lol
I mean the dynamic helps
That’s her dad and ceo
But for the others Dave is the boss and ceo
This is the problem with this show. George Kamel is so tense it is uncomfortable to watch.
Dave and Rachel combo. I’m in everytime
😅 😅😅Dave yelling and Rachael calming him down
“If nobody sees this purchase do I still want it?”
Rachel, this question completely changed my ENTIRE purchasing habits. Thank you!
This is a question that NEVER entered my mind.
She definitely made a good point!
I absolutely love the episodes with Dave and Rachel 😂
Same 😂 my favorite part is how Rachel reacts when Dave goes on a rant
Dave & Rachel are gold together.
Man, this show is awesome. I wonder how many people myself included our praying for that man with cancer and his family
Me... Please Jesus heal him. PLEASE
😢 That caller broke my heart.
seriously 😢
🙏🏾😢
I am a 38 black female millennial, and Dave cracks me up! He is funny without trying and just tells it like it is!
I'm curious as to why you felt the need to put your race in the description instead of just calling yourself a 38 yo female?
@@johnnymichael1804who cares really. She did it some people do that it is what it is. I mean it's just one more descriptor there was no real reason to say age or gender either
@@johnnymichael1804Because it's mainly conservative white Trumpsters in here
@@tylercampbell6365more like people who are trying to be smarter with their finances
The daddy daughter banter, I just wanted to pull up a chair and a bowl of popcorn lol
1:21:00 God bless Aaron and his family. This call is the reason Dave can't retire. He has the wisdom and life experience to guide these kinds of calls
Lol 😅 my 1 year old daughter and 7 year old son are humming the Ramsey Show theme song 🎵 🤣 😂. That's how you know I watch this show everyday.
creepy
52-year old guy and the debt-free stories and screams get me almost every time…congratulations Sam!
Thank you!😊
Bless you Rachel , you make me smile , you and your father make me smile, with the little banter you have, and you still bring that beautiful smile to calm it all off 😂😂😂😂, bless you😁👌
I am excited that Sam's fiance was transparent about the expectations he set for himself and therefore could communicate clearly to Sam. I love Sam's drive, journey, and intention. You go ma'am! WINNING!!
Thank you! ❤
Man, this poor young woman, Alison, is so wrapped up in fearing she'll never meet someone as loving as her BF. Thank you for speaking truth to her - he is not worthy of her. Perhaps he will get his act together, but don't give up your life and money for a guy who's not working with you and isn't fully transparent. She deserves so much more.
In one ear and out the other I’m afraid
I've learned that the way you do ANYthing is the way you do EVERYthing. If he isn't taking care of himself or his money...he Definitely won't take care of her. And what I'm talking about has nothing to do with money. She knew what to do before she made the call, it's just painful.
How do we know she's worthy? Short call, she could be a terrible person. And even if she isn't, the scenario Dave described, with this young guy making the national average salary and showering her with gifts and worshiping the ground she walks on... Is that really a healthy relationship? Treating women like goddesses to be worshiped? That call pissed me off. A young guy got thrown under the bus because he's not a millionaire at 22 and spending every cent on some random chick in LA.
At 49:05 Dave and Rachel discuss something that I have been needing to hear for a long time now. I have money related PTSD from my childhood, growing up in poverty, that I have always struggled with to this day. Thanks a lot Dave and Rachel. You guys are awesome and have seriously impacted my life for the better.
Friends of mine were in the exact same situation as the couple looking to buy the car. Her parents disliked him, judged everything they did. They got married last year of college and unfortunately they haven't talked to her mom in 20 years except at a few family events (funerals/weddings). They are happy and successful, but the only reason was she was willing to disconnect from that relationship. It is a hard choice, but they told her mom, either let us live our life, stop attacking us or we are done with you. She continued and they said no and excluded her from their life.
Something else to think about for Allison. These controlling types tend to try and remove you from your support system. Going to Texas, I assume, would make him the only person you know locally. Probably this is not a good move for you.
Absolutely. My mom taught me that this is one of the signs of a controlling/abusive man.
Catching up on these shows on my commute to work, what an emotional roller coaster the episode was. Highs and lows. Very inspiring all around. There’s a reason I’ve been listening for the last eight years!
Rachel has the most concerned face I’ve ever seen. 😂 She’s a doll.
So proud of Sam and her fiancée. She took the bull by the horns and dug in. Would love to hear what made the fiancée debt focused. Congratulations to you both🎉🎉🎉🎉
Perhaps I’m more cynical than I even think I am because I didn’t readily see the “kindness” or “nobility” in Jennifer’s concern for her father’s inheritance, but more a desire to potentially shore up her own financial future. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but let’s stop pretending altruistic motives prevail. It is what it is.
I had to listen at 2x playback because of her use of um,um,um….😅
Watching generational wealth disappear right in front of you when you know how to carry it is fucking disgusting but you gotta go create your own … I understand Jennifer
As the "financial" guy of my family even as I work on my baby step 2, my family talks to me about these kinds of things. It can be rough to try and help people when you feel under qualified.
Maybe I'm cynical too because it sounded to me like she wants to do the same thing she's worried her dad has done. Like wants him to make sure the inheritance goes to her
Guuurl! I heard that!!!!!
It's so normal for the government to take our money. It's crazy how we don't even bat an eye when someone says the government took half of the estate
The government always take money, usually in the form of taxes. Especially the ones that shouldn't even exist. Total theft.
I definitely have batted my eyes, that's why we have a trust to protect our assets for our kids.
1:22:14 Aaron I pray for you and your family. You are so strong and a wonderful dad and husband. May the Lord gives you good health and life to see your kids grow ❤
Hey Dave, tell us how you really feel. 😅 I love when you get fired up!
Allison, you say you don't know what to do - you DO know what to do. Learn from the last relationship. Open your eyes. RUN from him!
Liar Pretendzi
Yessss what Rachel said THERES MANY MORE like him but BETTER ❤
To anyone reading this, this logic applies to that friend or spouse of yours too, you can’t teach someone who doesn’t want to be teached, so move accordingly

@@Trustbutverify2651grammar nazi!….lol. (Correcting the grammar was my first thought too 😅
The authorized user is so much easier than that. Dispute with each reporting agency as "not responsible for this debt" That's all it takes.
Rachel is right, if mom adds daughter as an autherized user on her credit card and then maxes it out or misses a payment, it effects the daughters credit score the same as the moms.
Authorized
Rachel may be right but this daughter would be added as an owner. Otherwise it would not show up on daughters credit report. Daughter doesn't get the bill so how would she know what was owed unless she received a bill.
How do you survive cancer three times with three minor children, be TWO YEARS into a fourth go at stage four cancer, and NOT already have a will?
I love Dave, all the crew and Financial Peace! Thank you.
Love Dave and Rachel together!
Funny, how Dave thought Rachel told on herself with the ‘funny codes’.
The guy with cancer. God bless him and his family.
LMAAAOOO when they were talking about the time share and Rachel tryna lighten the mood with a would you rather to Dave, PEAK CONTENT!! 😂😂😂
I love Dave and she’s like why are you yelling at her? He’s just yelling because he’s mad and that’s how I get everybody’s like don’t yell at me. I’m like I’m not yelling at you. I’m just mad.
What does "she's like," "everybody's like" and "I'm like" mean in this context?
I disagree holding debt payments for 6-9 months while waiting for a baby would only be 50bucks. If they delay paying back 15k the interest would be more like $700+
Probably true, but still the appropriate move.
Binge watching this on my maternity leave the best advice!! And Dave is iconic
That sofi caller was interesting… almost like someone from the company calling in lol
Idk. I'm a So-Fi user and don't understand why anyone would have it out for them, so I thought it was a good question. 😂
They sell debt, but oh well, every bank sells debt.
Just don't take it out, nobody is putting a gun to your head. 😂
I use their HYSA and Roth IRA cuz they match. Their app and customer service is good. Works for me lol.
Rachael looks so good this show. Glowing almost!!!
The Ramsey Show, Yay! I liked this video so much, it made me smile!
I love you Dave! I love your passion for time shares 😂 I agree they are bad news.
I’m from Evansville love hearing people from the same city doing well having success 😊
She’s looking out for herself not her father
Who?
@@LittleMopeHead first woman
Exactly she is looking out for her inheritance
Yeah, because she knows whatever’s left is going to go to her so she doesn’t wanna see him blow through it
I wish there was a UK version of the everydollar app 😞
I don't know why you can't use the free manual entry one and keep your receipts and enter expenses every day. Just pretend the $ signs are pounds or Euros for anyone living overseas. It's the principle of allocating money for expenses in various categories, doing a strict daily recording, and then seeing what is left and figuring out how to use that money in advance each month. What would not be possible is the automatic slide-over from financial institutions in the paid version because those financial institutions are not attached to the every dollar. However, you can do exactly the same thing with an Excel spreadsheet, which I did for years before Every Dollar became available.
I use Emma, it’s close to every dollar
LOL @ Rachel yelling at Dave
Dave is on one today!
Lease car or time share 😂😂😂, Rachelll😂😂😂😂
It does shows on my credit score when my husband put me as authorized.
This was a great show for many people to learn from. Love Proverbs
The best part of this episode was how hard the fiance was clapping for the girl at the end. You could tell he was so proud. What a good man, and a great woman, they are going to have such a good life!
Praying for Aaron and his family 🙏🏽
Following and listening from the UK. Dave, come to the UK advising the British public, I think you’d be a great guest on the Podcast called Diary of a CEO with Stephen Bartlett.
Love the UK 🇬🇧!!! The US Air Force sent me there in 2002!
@@TheCookieFranco when Dave talks about Roth IRA or 401K, that’s the only bit I don’t understand because we don’t have those over here. I’m guessing, but is one some kind of pension? And is the other similar to what in the UK is called an ISA? Over here we have ISAs that are just savings accounts where you don’t pay tax on the interest made. We have cash ISAs which are just the same as savings accounts except you don’t pay tax on the interest and then separately to that people can have a stocks and shares ISA where you put money in that is invested in the stock market. Again you don’t pay tax on whatever it makes.
@@TheCookieFranco some bits of the UK are nicer than others.
I visited NY in 2013 and I loved it there. I think it was the first time in my life that someone said they liked my accent. 🤣🤣
Do you have superannuation in the UK? That’s what we have in Australia for our retirement fund
Ugh. Timeshares- the worst
36:41 I LOVE Honda CR-V Diesel ❤❤❤ Very Good Choice. My 2005 Honda CR-V accompanied me for 330.000 km I drove myself and the former owner drove it 100.000 - so it had 430.000 under its belt. I still miss it 😅
Haha the scratch her and I’m dying inside got me 😂
Aaron in Oklahoma City, you’re an amazing man. You really touched my heart. I believe in miracles too.
Praying for you Aaron 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Miracles happen everyday. May it be Gods Will that you have a speedy recovery. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The only personality that can rail Dave in is Rachel 😂 love it 😍
rein in, not rail in

Or were you going for reel?
I love the debt free testimonials 🎉🎉🎉
❤You are just one of the lucky ones...but sometimes life throws us a curveball🙏
Alison already knows what her answer is she just needs to hear an affirmation. You can hear it in her voice.
If I ever meet Dave I need Rachel to be there 😂
Zac from Dallas, very sharp young man, great catch. Don’t let people make you do stuffs you wouldn’t want to do. Don’t worry about impressing people

The day somebody tells me my financial situation is none of your business but yet we’re moving in together
Yeah, you’ll be moving down there and I would be following you
Hang on I think that’s what happened to my cousin. That’s right. He moved to Florida and I never followed.
Thank God Dave came to work again today
Best quote ever- they only understand a 2x4 to the face 😂😂😂

I do love the jazzy Ramsey theme song.
I love that Rachel is the only one who stands up to her dad 😂😂
She is the only one whose job doesn't depend on it

Sorry to hear about the guy diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. Dr. David Brownstein has some UA-cam interviews where he talks about the benefits of iodine. Hope this helps. Blessings.
Way to go, Sam! You're not too far away from me. I'm in Pittsburgh. :)
Way to go Zach! They should be thanking their lucky stars their daughter is marrying so well.
Dave and Rachel cracking me up 😂😂😂😂😂
That is so exciting to see that young lady pay off her debt you go Sam you are the bomb girl
Someone needs to explain to Dave that it’s legal to put a child’s name on a credit card as an authorized user. Authorized user’s credit IS impacted. not sometimes, EVERY time. It’s stupid but legal.
Pretty sure Dave said it was illegal like six times

Dave, I can't wait to be one of those "great cheap people" standing in your lobby within the next year or less! We just finished up FPU a week ago and one of the questions asked "what do you plan to do when you are debt free?" and my immediate response was "I am going to Nashville to stand in Dave's lobby and eat me some of those free cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And get a coffee!" Can't wait to meet you guys! I might pass out from extreme excitement or possibly wet my pants, LOL but hey. I am lookin' forward to it! See y'all soon!
Please come to Lincoln, Nebraska!! There's 2 Barnes and Nobles!
Sam is adorable. Her fiancee has done well, and did well by her (by encouraging her to pay off her debt before he proposed).
SoFi has a 4.6% savings account, and they don't charge for transfers. Good enough for me
Yup
Yeah, I don't agree with every company that I have investments with so I don't get Dave's point here... I have a SoFi account because it was the best savings account rate I could find and that's it.
😂😂😂 they’re so alike! Talking over each other and not one person stops. They just keep going until they’re both done with their statements 💀
The Ramsey Show, I subscribed because your videos are super cool!
Rachel with the combacks this episode 😂
Rolling batteries 😂😂
A authorized user does show on the credit report, so if the parent or spouse uses the credit card stupidly it impacts the authorized users credit. Dave is only correct in that the authorized user isn’t liable for the debit.
Do you guys know any thing about ESOP stocks from so called "Employee Stock Ownership Plans" --- where they say the company's employee's are "owners" but they are really not?
Rachel's Tesla is faster than Dave's car LOL .
28:12 could’ve sworn I heard this exact argument a couple weeks ago
Going to local banks isn't the best advice if the bank is too sketchy and small. Gotta find that middle ground and pick banks with good protection and reputation
What makes a bank sketchy? As long as they’re FDIC insured (or the credit union counterpart) they have the same protection as the “middle ground” banks.
@@notgivingmyemail3381 did you not see all the banks that closed down last year?
Dave is wrong about the authorized user in credit cards. It shows in your credit report and doesn’t specify when you pull the credit whether you’re the owner or authorized user
Lmbo! I love Rachel and Dave together!
I don't care what the doctors say Aaron's beaten it before he's going to beat it again. God bless him he's a tough guy.🙏🙏🙏
Larry Burkett said if you save for a specific purpose (example for a vacation) then don’t do the thing you saved for because you like the money better, that’s hoarding. - when you cannot part with money.
46:12 me, unwilling to post anything online, but still enjoying buying way too much junk. 😅
I found a computer repair store for sale for $300,000.00. It's annual revenue is for $1,000,000.00. should I buy it?
For Victoria, more than likely you’re an “Authorized User” if you check your credit report it will say the account is either: individual, joint, or authorized user. If you’re an Authorized User you can call the lender and tell them you want your name removed as an Authorized User. I just did it for some credit cards my ex had me listed on.
The credit cards are not her serious problem. The time share she also signed for is.
