I can't get over how much you have improved the farm since I started watching your videos. Everything looks great! So neat and clean. I love to see the changes from week to week. God bless you and your whole family. Tell your sister we really miss seeing her.
The farm is looking amazing Cole. To any viewers that haven't been here since the beginning I highly recommend going back and looking at at least one video of what the farm used to look.
@Miles Holt - I TOTALLY AGREE!!! Cole is the only person I have ever known to clean up something that HUGE on his own!!
@@Doglover11-y8z - ??
He took on a massive project and hasn't stopped yet .
Think we've been subscribed for 4 maybe 5 years now and what a amazing job he's done .
Naive been a great helping to we don't want to forget his right hand girl
@@Doglover11-y8z huh? Already did what?
@@billsrq1788 - Yes! Especially since they are married now!
The commitment to the transformation of the property while honoring your family’s history on it has been fun and impressive to watch. Well done!
Well said
It is an amazing transformation what you have done with your farm, your grandpa would be so proud of you 👏👏
nice job .
I worked for a national commercial truck leasing company. Some of our customers had periodic vehicle washing performed . We contracted that service to local truck washing contractors. I went to an adjoining branch of out customer one Saturday and visited a customer who leased truck tractors and aluminum funnel bottom trailers. The washing contractor wet the vehicles down , sprayed an acid /soap cleaner and brushed then rinsed. Did an amazing job as these tankers hauled bulk portland cement.
One of the washing contractors told about a truck driver who came in on a Saturday and tried doing the "same thing " to clean the windows on his car. The driver didnt follow the instructions carefully enough . He wanted to acid wash his car windows, didnt wet first, left the acid on too long and had frosted windows when he went to rinse. Proceeded to wash again with suds and a brush . He etched all the windows on his car and had to get it towed somewhere to get ALL the windows replaced.
PAYING ATTENTION
PRICELESS
I love seeing the clean up parts of your videos! I know, I know, you’re a farm channel, however I’ve been here since the beginning and miss all of the sorting and hauling to the dump and getting to see the “before and afters.” (I know the weather didn’t allow you to finish the spot today! ) ❤❤❤
Your hard work on tackling to useless and unused equipment has paid off and the farm is looking very nice. Good luck on the soon harvest
Collecting junk......mm
NO PROBLEM
working around it ....a real pain
less effort to keep it clean , than cleaning up
I love that Daddy Cornstar doesn't really care WHERE he goes just as long as he is with Mama Cornstar.
Cole, you might want to try Mold Armor house wash on your sprayer. Works great for us, hopefully you’d get same results
I can see where the boys get their work ethics, the apples don't fall far from the tree. DC, you deserve a night out on the town with MC, I hope you both have a terrific time. Big thumbs up and I enjoyed watching the video. Cole the sprayer looks a 1000 percent better. You really need a variety of brushes.
I remember when you started filming. You were so young and the farm was so unwieldy Now wlook at all you guys have accomplished! Carry on Men The work is worth doing.
Now he's all grown and married and fixing to be a father. Time does fly.
Cole, those brake chamber push rods that attach to the slack adjusters are to long. You should be able to find info on how measure and cut them. You should take care of that soon.
Kudos to you Cole. Your place looks great!! I live in Iowa too but my roots are ND farmers. My grandparents farms were always tidy. Thanks for entertaining and educating us! Invite us over one day….we would definitely visit you and family! ( very forward of me )
To remove semi tire off the hub, stand with your back facing the tire, reach behind you and place hands/fingers on underside of rim. This position places load more onto your hips and legs.
Plug your hoses together on skid steer attachments when not in use and that will help protect your ends and keep clean and equalize the hose and make hookup easier.
Cole, rent you a new dryer for the season you got a new combine, new corn header, new tractor and cart and brand new bins, if you start cutting corn early and have to dry it all the equipment is gonna be waiting on the dryer, I'd bet the new dryers are so much more efficient they will pay for themselves in fuel savings!!
I hope you get optinal weather for harvest! Thanks for a great video!
The farm is looking really good! Cole you really have brought dignity, pride, and integrity back to 'corn star farms'! It's been pleasure to follow along with you guys. Good job cornstar family
Your grandpa is smiling down at you, Cole. You’ve done a great job cleaning up the farm.
Looking good Cole! Your hard work has really transformed the farm! And DC your sayings make my day!
Everything is looking great around the farm.
You and daddy made a great show. Seen Cooper in 1 seen with daddy load up the truck tire.
I think y'all are really good at keeping the equipment clean and maintained. Notice that since I have been watching this show and now I forget how many years I've been watching.
I think I am getting old.
Looks amazing!!! Good job by all.
Its amazing how stuff is done differently depending on where you grow up, around here we rake the yard to remove rocks and to smooth it, seed it then spread straw, and in a few weeks its green. And the straw just lays and goes away.
My first video was you cleaning out the house at the beginning, and I stayed because of your awesome content and family. Looking forward to more exciting content stop come!
Carry a can of break clean in the skid loader for cleaning off your flat face fittings works amazing to keep them clean!
So amazing how much y’all have accomplished ❤
Cole, get yaself a snow foam gun, put the mix in leave it to soak and then rinse off, you'd be surprised how little scrubbing is needed. But shiny shiny !
Long time watcher, love seeing what you guys are getting into on the farm!
Amazon has some drill attached brush kits that include 3 or 4 different type of brushes. They have one that looks like a toilet bowl brush and it works great for getting into those tight nooks and crannies
Cole you are amazing, what you have done to your farm, grandpa would be proud‼️💯🫶🏼
Paint sprayers rims they need it! After cleaning ceramic coat it nothing will stick
I like to mow the edge of the field this time of year because the breeze gets into the corn or beans and helps dry them down faster. When you park any hydraulic operated unit to keep junk from the lines just hook them together after wrapping them around the frame of the attachment your using.
Looking good. Best in the neighborhood.
My goodness Cole, you work so have worked so hard to clean up your family farm and it looks great. Also love watching Daddy Cornstar and your brother.
I’m so thankful for farmers and I’m a consistent watcher❤ All of that to say, I know the chemicals are important but take high caution, if vapors can cause erosion on metal, imagine what it is doing to your body over time. 😕♥️
Cole, one of the best days I have had in my 64plus years was the day I rented a bobcat to spread some pea-rock. It saved many hours of back-breaking labor. I think you do, but enjoy your time now, you are truly blessed. Thanks for the videos. Thanks for sharing with us. God bless you.
Cornstars are good at keeping things cleaned up and maintained. Good Job (Cole, an old toothbrush will get in those small places lol). I am not a farmer, but I have learned how to identify soybean plants. I live in eastern NC. Thanks for the education!
Make sure the vent hole on the trailer hub caps are clean .... it doesn't take much for the hole to be plugged making it to blow out the wheel seal
The farm is looking soooooo good😉….Can’t believe how many trash piles there are….glad you’re getting it all cleaned up…
You have come so far since the beginning! Well done sir!
Nothing more satisfying than a tidy yard/farm, makes life so much easier and reflects better on the way you work.
Been watching slightly over 3 years now ive seen this farm grow in a huge way! Along with all the cornstars
Hello DC when loading tires like that I use ramps for a ATV and just push them up the ramp. Way easier on the back. Work smarter and not harder!
Looking like you have one serious leak to fix up someplace on your spray rigging there Cole the CornStar! Hoping some of your cute lil grass seed guys up and sprout really well with the moisture and the approaching cooler weather. Hi Nave! -Bob...
Hi guys! Cooper, I really love your truck! Yard looks so good! We have crank windows in our truck too! So fun.
I really enjoy your videos! Two pieces of equipment to add to your future equipment list:. Rotary Shredder for a tractor and a box scrapper for dirt work.
5:38 Not sure why, but I laughed way too much on that 😅😅😅😅😎 Good job on editing that part 👍✌️
A toilet brush works great in those small areas, super cheap too
Cole, check out Durbak paint. It is an industrial strenth paint for heavy equipment. Comes in a wide variety of colors. The military uses it on their equipment!
Thank you code for starting making videos like you used to on a good way thank you
My daddy used to say about being n the rain, “you ain’t sugar, you won’t melt.” 😀😀 🤗💕🦋
Love watching!!
Nice to see all the activity
Every time I watch your video, the amount of work you put just insane.
Farm is looking good and clean Cole keep up the good work 👍👍🙂👍
To get organic stuff of easy you can use a fallout remower, the light acid disolves it realy good
you can try getting a foam ball that you put on a drill to try and clean the tight spaces. they are used for cleaning the hard to reach places on tire rims. Also if you block the hydraulic cylinder it would keep it from sinking on you. love the channel and all the best as harvest approaches. God bless fellows. ( I still miss the corn costume lol !)
With limited time grain trailers are used why not try changing them over to wheel bearing grease. Sitting trailer with oil in hubs seem to leak after moving them.
DC, you da man. Change those huge semi wheel's like that. WOW. Blessings on you and the boys.
Amazinf amount of workk and your farm looks great
Like Roger Cook said, the best thing you could add to your lawn is compost. Don't forget to add the Staaahrter Fertiliza!
Get a born cob type still brush dip it in the solution and it should be better.
Great Job Cole yard looks awesome 🤷♀️👍🤗💯
Looking good guys daddy cornstar is an animal ,just watch him work pretty good shape hes in watch him with a shovel there's some power there Cole and cooper pay close attention to dad he seems like a great guy you all are it's nice to see hard working guys like yourself s thanks again for the video ride along from east central Minnesota...
hey man when it comes to hydraulic lines always keep a can of brake clean / Park cleaner in the equipment that way you can clean it and then attach it
How bout a drill brush on them nooks and crannies on the sprayer? I'd like one with a longer extension on the brush and a nice m12 drill to get in there good.
Looking good!!
Job, well done Cole. The Mansion is befitting of royalty to be sure. I hope DC and MC enjoyed their date, I thought that was so sweet.❤️
I would imagine your friends and family are very impressed with the work you have accomplished
Looks good Cole 👍👍
Good job Cole
Did I just see you take of a Budd Wheel haven't seen those in years, Used to work on the daytons to.
Hey Cole when you have hard spots to reach like on the boom of the sprayer use a small pump sprayer and put the chemical in it and spray it on the boom straight. Works pretty good if I must say.
CLEANING!!! Yeah! 😃
Great video, Cole.
It’s looking very nice!
@whatsapp①④①⑤⑧⑤①⑤⓪⑤⑧ You work so hard Cole, it's always fun to watch you and see what you and your family are doing. I know you'll be having a few very busy months ahead of you! 🙏♥
Jeepers-Creepers Cole, The farm is looking great for sure! Grandpa would be proud! Us clean freaks like to see the end results of a messy pile being tackled. Give us a " Ahhhh Clean At Last!" moment in the video please! 😁
Daddy Cornstar. A word of advice from a trucker/road mechanic of 49 years. get a quart of air tool oil. every quarter, like 3 months, squirt oh say 6 to 8 ounces of air tool oil into the lines coming from the truck, through the glad hands. in time the oil will make it's way down into the valves and it will lube the springs and diaframs in the valves. air tool oil will not affect the diaframs. The valves will corrode andsuch in time and become less functional. Example take forever to open and let air flow in properly. And also in cold weather they will not freeze up as easy, or not at all. and another tech tip, squirt a dash of desiel onto the linkage under the top plate of your Fifth wheel. it keeps them lubed and snow and such will not stick on them in winter. when i drove for a durration, every 10th fill i gave my fifth wheel a squeaze let go squirt and i never ever had a proplem with a sticky linkage. ya gross WD40 will work but that stuff in a mechanics eyes is nasty garbage. deseil fuel is a awesome lubercant. Up in Canada's artic durring the 11 winters i was there we had to lube our plates with deseil fuel cause the jaws would not close in such cold if they were dry or lubed with a heavier lubercant. another teck tip, take the time and put Diellect. grease on your plugs and on the plugs into your lights, keeps all the pins protected from grunge ect that corrode them. Hugs from your northern Veiwer, i never miss a video. Karrie, and Rochele.
I don't think I've ever seen your home... it's beautiful.
Been watching the channel for while now - suggestion for the semi-trucks and trailers: smoke valve. This allows the air lines to be pressured up from "shop" air, rather than having to run the engine to generate air for brake adjustments. Saw this on another channel.
Started watching and it made me realize I left the hose on in the garden. Thanks for the reminder! 😅
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎 👌 👍
Place is looking amazing
Need Tennessee turf in Iowa it will make it look special. The grass will volunteer. From a Tennessean , Go Big Orange
Combining is coming!!
I just built a grapple for my loader I recommend to anyone that cleanup junk or moving thangs that's the way to go
Still cleaning up the farm Cole? Good job the farm is really taking on a nice new look.
Looking good Cole
Cole a trick I had heard but didn't get to try as a commercial applicator was pre-coating your booms. I ran an RG1300B Rogator and sprayed on a lot of fertilizer with a high flow pump, I had to wash it off every night. I had heard from someone that if you would spray everything down with a pump sprayer of diesel that all the dust, etc., would stick to that and make it easier to wash off. We used to spray combine heads that had to sit outside with diesel to help fight off rusting. Maybe someone can confirm or oppose that.
Put a bit of hydraulic oil into your gladhands when you use your semi trailers it will lubricate your valves and prevent them from sticking when the trailers sit
My ocd love these videos 🥰 I live in Mississippi and I’ve always wanted to live in a beautiful place like yours!! Stay blessed 👩🏻🌾🌽🌾🌳🍃🍁🍂🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@whatsapp①④①⑤⑧⑤①⑤⓪⑤⑧ how are you? I really enjoy watching your videos, it’s nice to know I’m not alone on having things in Oder and in it’s place, and also taking care of your things, I grew up with a mother that,, unfortunately that didn’t know what or how to control her OCD, I am not as severe as she was,, but in my years I have learned to control the ups and downs (I’m 55😩)but watching a young person have such a great work ethic and respect for his property and his parents is very heartwarming, I’ve raised two children, they are my heart, but I clearly messed up teaching them and encouraging them on certain things, they need your kind of dedication,, it’s been a pleasure watching you grow,, and I wish you much luck and many blessings with your new adventures in life(if you are married now) always be true to each other, and never go to bed angry with each other,, you keep being your kind humble self!! Keep God first and you will always be blessed, I’m a very sentimental person so I can’t wait to see what you have in store for your grandfather’s home, you have a lovely young lady to have by your side on this great adventure.. best of luck🙏🏻❤️
Clean-up videos - my favorite!
DADDY Cornstar!! Get a ramp and roll them tires right up, i use a 7 foot long aluminum ramp. Always in my pickup bed.
COLE you remind me of my grandmother, she loved her lawn, all 7 acres of it.
Did you put any fertilizer on that were you planted all that grass a light fertilizer would have helped or some lime
When I was a kid I recall seeing on my family's farm every hydraulic coupler, male or female, covered with red or green plastic caps when they were disconnected. I can still see the the cardboard boxes full of them in the machine shed next to the diesel tanks in my memory's theater. Are they no longer a "thing" on modern farms?
"It's time....." Made me chuckle
Another great milestone achieved in removing the trash mountain!
Great job cole
Congratulations on tackling and conquering a 100-year challenge!
Cole , you can take the tires off the rims on your sprayer an get rim sandblasted an powder coated. Will look like new with no rust.
What’s the status on your bins. Is the law suit settled. Are you ready for harvest with plenty of storage and drying capacity?
