For the past decade I’ve been battling PTSD, anxiety & depression on top of ADHD. Getting out by myself (okay with my GSD) in nature is therapeutic for me. It recharges me. If I give up what I love doing, my kidnapper wins. I refuse to allow that. I always set up an extra (cheap) tent & I carry men’s size 13 shoes I leave outside the tent. I always set up a minimum of 2 chairs as well to make it look like I’m not a solo female out there. Then I’ve always got mace, bear spray, multiple knives & my besties who are ALWAYS by my side, Smith & Wesson. I’m always set up in a way I can make a fast escape if I need to. I’m willing to leave behind anything until the police will accompany me to retrieve them. If I can’t retrieve them, that’s no sweat because I bought a cheap tent & the men’s shoes at a thrift shop 👊🏼 Ladies, don’t live in fear as that AINT living….just be SMART about it & TRUST YOUR GUT. Period. I’ve left camp a few times due to my gut & I’ve never regretted it. My kidnapper WAS NOT A STRANGER.

I've been researching for years... There's a whole community of ladies in the same age group.. one lady has a channel called LuLus Way... They have group meet ups... Go to areas like Quartzite, AZ... And find people who wouldn't mind you camping near them... There's plenty of ways to stay safe... At my age, I will never sleep in a very remote area... You can also sleep at Cracker barrel, truck stops... While on the road.

If he shows up in Tecopa, have your pals take him on the extra special tour of Scotty's Lost Death Valley Gold mine. The one that "The One legged Miner Ross" knows all about. And Ross is ex-LE, so he'll give him all the info he needs about the dangers of old mines with deep vertical mine shafts that no one goes down anymore. I know of one way up in the Sierra Nevada. No one crawls around that one anymore either. And no cares if they did.
With a stalker, it's all about control, disruption, and reaction. It's hard to deal with. The less attention they get the better off you'll be. I guarantee you are not the only one this person in working on. Watch your back and spit on the low life.

I know you’re already doing this but I’ll say it out loud anyways for the benefit of anyone in a similar situation: SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING, with timestamps. If someone is stalking or bullying it is vital to document in detail everything that happens so you can put it in front of the authorities.

Good for your! When you are in places like Tacopa take your license place off your Jeep. There are a lot of black Jeeps. When you leave the event I would drive a ways away or drive to a police/sheriffs office to make sure you are not followed and put your plate back on. It might buy you some time. Also, something that will help is get a Hiker and Strike. It is a walking stick with a taser on the end. Whenever I see you out there hiking, and I sure you are carrying some type of protection. Also, the length of the stick you can get him before he gets close. Good Luck and stay safe!

Not in the save capacity as yourself and your friends out there in "the middle of nowhere," but looking around before you exit your Jeep, checking your "6" your "3" and your "9" thereby making sure you're safe. Stay in touch with your friends out there, and check in with home to make sure everyone you know will know generally where you are. Be safe, the World is a better place with you in it.

Sadly, I had a psychotic break once [when i was in my 50's which is unheard of] , and yes, I believed media was communicating directly with me and i absolutely was out of touch with reality. Luckily I'm not violent and my family got me to a hospital. Haven't had another episode to date. But knowing how powerful that delusional state of mind was when i was in it, scares the poop out of me! Traveling and living in nature is how I've kept balanced the last many years. Sadly there's NO REASONING with delusional thoughts. I pray this guy gets help. 😢 I feel better knowing you understand psychotic disorders. I'm a solo traveler to. Even I pay attention to my surroundings and if I have a bad feeling about the place I will go somewhere else. There has been a few times that I got a uneasy feeling. It's sad that people do stuff like this to other people

My opinion. You making a video talking about this guy for 30 minutes was the worse thing you could have done. He's a stalker, you trying to appeal to common sense wont work on a real stalker. This guy knows the areas very well by site in order to be able to go to the very places you’ve been at. I had an intoxicated man come over the counter after me while I was working one night insisting I was his ex. It’s a scarey place out there as of late. My exhusband is acute paranoid schizophrenic and living with that for 4 years was pretty terrifying. His family never ever let on to his condition. Like oh we’ll just hand him off to her and be relieved of all that. So sorry you’re going through this. Thanks for this video.

I've never had nor do I want to have to deal with a stalker, but I have had to deal with bipolar and schizophrenics both in my family and in the community. You are way nicer than I am about it. They mess with me, I immediately turn on them and I make a big loud scene and they run! I draw attention to the situation and expose their advances and nip it in the bud. I've been researching for years... There's a whole community of ladies in the same age group.. one lady has a channel called LuLus Way... They have group meet ups... Go to areas like Quartzite, AZ... And find people who wouldn't mind you camping near them... There's plenty of ways to stay safe... At my age, I will never sleep in a very remote area... You can also sleep at Cracker barrel, truck stops... While on the road.
The neat thing about stalkers is that they can be stalked as well...

Cyber Stalking is a serious crime in AZ. UA-cam has links to stop stalkers... I posted one below. DPS in Quartzsite could take the complaint, and will follow up, on their security cyber labs.

Ask County Sheriff's office about Injunction Against Harassment. Different Than OP that usually requires Relationship Test, at least in AZ. In CA it's called Civil Harassment Restraining Order.

If he shows up in Tecopa, have your pals take him on the extra special tour of Scotty's Lost Death Valley Gold mine. The one that "The One legged Miner Ross" knows all about. And Ross is ex-LE, so he'll give him all the info he needs about the dangers of old mines with deep vertical mine shafts that no one goes down anymore. I know of one way up in the Sierra Nevada. No one crawls around that one anymore either. And no cares if they did.
With a stalker, it's all about control, disruption, and reaction. It's hard to deal with. The less attention they get the better off you'll be. I guarantee you are not the only one this person in working on. Watch your back and spit on the low life.
For added companship and safety, a larger dog with long fangs might be a good idea. Take care and remain vigilant.
Love your travel and adventure content…especially the isolated spots. Your solo travels are really inspiring and I love your free spirit and honesty. You should expect the best from people but plan for the worst…my advice would be to take precautions but don’t let anyone take away your adventurous spirit and all your awesome travels

I know you’re already doing this but I’ll say it out loud anyways for the benefit of anyone in a similar situation: SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING, with timestamps. If someone is stalking or bullying it is vital to document in detail everything that happens so you can put it in front of the authorities.

I hate to say this, but every time I see things about stalkers on the news, something bad happens. People with mental problems don't think rationally. This guy isn't going to just stop. He needs the kind of help only a rubber padded room and a tight fitting jacket can provide. I would hate to see someone's life ruined because they had to protect themselves. I understand why you want this guy to stop stalking, and I know that you're venting out of frustration however I hope he tires of this stalking thing and possibly the best way is to just not speak of him again. Good for your! When you are in places like Tacopa take your license place off your Jeep. There are a lot of black Jeeps. When you leave the event I would drive a ways away or drive to a police/sheriffs office to make sure you are not followed and put your plate back on. It might buy you some time. Also, something that will help is get a Hiker and Strike. It is a walking stick with a taser on the end. Whenever I see you out there hiking, and I sure you are carrying some type of protection. Also, the length of the stick you can get him before he gets close. Good Luck and stay safe!

As a Dad of two Beautiful young women that live outdoors as I raised them, I know the paranoia. Delusional people come in all shapes and sizes but have one major problem that I pray they all seek help for. If you question "if you have normal thoughts" YOU should definitely seek help and pray for pure thoughts and good energy.

I also live on the road working my way through truck and motorcycle repairs hoping to not get ripped off by temporary employers that think they are gods like I just did. As travelers' folks don't think we have any recourse, but we are legal and can use the same police and agencies to take care of ourselves. Thank You for doing so and I for one will not be upset to see you carrying. I know utube has it's hang ups on that as do some states but when it's for your own protection, it is justified!

I travel, sometimes. Not in the save capacity as yourself and your friends out there in "the middle of nowhere," but looking around before you exit your Jeep, checking your "6" your "3" and your "9" thereby making sure you're safe. Stay in touch with your friends out there, and check in with home to make sure everyone you know will know generally where you are. Be safe, the World is a better place with you in it.

I am familiar with that in my past career. I follow a few UA-cam people just like you that travels solo as well . I am glad you are taking steps to protect yourself and I'm praying that you never have to do anything to protect yourself. I'm not a religious man but I pray God will protect you. Sadly, I had a psychotic break once [when i was in my 50's which is unheard of] , and yes, I believed media was communicating directly with me and i absolutely was out of touch with reality. Luckily I'm not violent and my family got me to a hospital. Haven't had another episode to date.
But knowing how powerful that delusional state of mind was when i was in it, scares the poop out of me! Traveling and living in nature is how I've kept balanced the last many years.
Sadly there's NO REASONING with delusional thoughts. I pray this guy gets help. 😢

Hey Sarah...can you file a restraining order on this guy when you're in Tecopah? He can be arrested, and than evaluated as a possible 5150. That would open his eyes, hopefully.
Things will be changing ( for the bettter ) in this world, very soon...we are in the Time of the Sixth Sun. It may get dicey for a while but when it changes it will happen rapidly.
My opinion. You making a video talking about this guy for 30 minutes was the worse thing you could have done. He's a stalker, you trying to appeal to common sense wont work on a real stalker. You have now made him even more relevant in his demented mind. If nothing else but taking up real estate in your head, which you proved to him by making this video , that alone will motivate him to continue. The precautions you talk about in hopes of dissuading him, camping with other men, owning a gun, going to the police, having a car alarm, that won't dissuade a stalker, they are crazy. Take all the precautions you talked about but I wouldn't make any more videos discussing this guy in any way shape or form.

This guy knows the areas very well by site in order to be able to go to the very places you’ve been at. I had an intoxicated man come over the counter after me while I was working one night insisting I was his ex. It’s a scarey place out there as of late. My exhusband is acute paranoid schizophrenic and living with that for 4 years was pretty terrifying. His family never ever let on to his condition. Like oh we’ll just hand him off to her and be relieved of all that. So sorry you’re going through this. Thanks for this video.

I've never had nor do I want to have to deal with a stalker, but I have had to deal with bipolar and schizophrenics both in my family and in the community. You are way nicer than I am about it. They mess with me, I immediately turn on them and I make a big loud scene and they run! I draw attention to the situation and expose their advances and nip it in the bud. I read some comments saying you did the worst thing by giving him any mention. I don't agree. But I do think you were too kind. I could hear your intent to CYA very clearly, but he might not be able to get it through his head to understand. I'm glad you are surrounding yourself with people that have your back, but these sick people have tunnel vision and won't recognize your boundaries and precautions. It's very likely he will show up at one of these two places and you'll have to deal with him. And if that time comes, don't be nice, be fierce and bold and take control. Don't even go to the bathroom without an escort during these two events. And if you are in an open carry state, wear it openly. That's your right. I try to be kind to people to a point, but when it gets this serious, all bets are off and I go on the offense and not the defense. You know what he looks like so he best be careful. He won't think that way, but you can react that way. You have to put fear in him to get him to leave you alone. I'm asking God to assign a really big angel to you that this guy will either be able to see or sense its presence and he'll just flat take off and leave you alone forever. But sometimes we have to take that stand and all niceness has to fall off. ❤🙏
