I know this is a year later, but do you get any rubbing with that setup? I've got some 19x9.0 ET37 wheels to go at the rear of mine, with 255/30 tyres and I have rolled the arches slightly
@@shimozo not at all but I had to roll my quarter panel

I'm running rotiform LAS-R 18x9.5j square setup with +35 offset no rubbing and amazing fitment

How i didnt find this video sooner i have no clue, but this helped me decide on 18x8.5+38 fronts and 18x9+30 rears for my e46 zhp

I have 18s, 8.5 and 9.5 with 265 and 235 and they rub some in the rears under harder cornering and when I hit a dip in the road. But not terrible. I guess I need to roll the fenders some?

When I had mine I had 225 40 18 and they look very good
Im guessing 235 35 18s at 8.5 j will fit may lower gearing a bit but acceleration will be faster.

Is there a guide for deep dish wheel style specs that will still fit? I’m guessing there would be less of an offset because the lip is farther than where the hub bolts on... but what’s the limit. That last one was on air and completely rolled but I’m static and I wanna leave the body stock and still run a flush/barely tucked fitment with some sort of deep dished wheel

I have a problem wirh my wheels. I put style 122 on my bmw e46. 8J ET20 Tires are 225/45 R17. I have a sport coilovers.. and yeah.. rub at bumps
i kinda wanna keep the stock 16x7 bbs wheels on the car, does anyone know what kind of tires setup may look better? it currently looks very much like a commuter tire setup and i like something a lil more sporty looking. i just dont want it to look silly

I would go 18” for the sedan, 19” is just not desirable ride quality

Do you have to cut or roll if you're running 18" or 19" x 9.5 all around if you're not going too low? Or is the amount of drop, if any, what determines it?

first wheel is actualy a racing dyanmics RGR set not a RGP, RGP have a simular disign dut have more of an lip with wider wheels and lower ofset

the third car ( the grey one ) is def not a square setup, i can bet my left nut that the fronts are 18/8.5. The lip is wider in the rear. And you can't fit a 9.5 wide with ET +30 that flush in the front of a non M e46 sedan.

You could consider running spacers!

I own a 2002 E46 325i coupe, i have 19 inch wheels on the car but it feels uncomfortable like the tires are thin ofcourse because of the size of the wheel plus how bigger the wheels more heavier. So my question is would 18 inch be good?
yes, go for 18" or go for 17", beacause the geometry is made for 17"
I have option to buy nice style 32 but all of them are 8,5” on 225/40/18 what you think is good idea to have like this ? Becouse normaly i have 8” on front on 225/40 and 8,5” on rear with 255/35 🙏🏻 please help me 🥺
225 will be fine on an 8.5, it will just look a little stretched. Based on you having a 255 in the rear, you probably like that more meaty functional look, where as the 225s on a 8.5 will be more of a stance look. I hope that helped!
