Nice. Is the dp catless? Heard catless is the only way to make any worthwhile gains as the catted one didn't show much gain on the dyno with the accord. I wanna install one on my accord next year when I upgrade the turbo.
I've always been scared to do downpipe because of those 3 bolts that you gotta spray wd40 or pb blaster with near the turbo. Did you just spray it and immediately start taking the bolts off or did you spray some before and waited a bit before working on it? Also I'm assuming the O2 sensors just have a simple plug you pull and then you just unscrew them from the dp?
I've done maybe 5 or 6 of these already. The first I did I snapped, cold car and no prep. After that I learned heat is your friend. To be safe you can put a torch on it for a minute and then do it right away. But I've found with the car hot (full operating temp) and some WD40 right at the time of trying....that's all you need
Got mine here in PR back in November. Enjoy it! Definitely following this series!
Puerto Rico siempre apurado! Saludos papi y gracias!
@@accoRding2Joel Pa'rriba! Saludos mano. Disfrutalo. Pa curar la fiebre!
Claro que si. Igual tu pa!
Very nice! Finally some good Type R content!
Thanks for the nice words brother!
Neighbors must love you
They sure don't
Very similar to FK8 DP install but slightly easier since u don't have to remove the intake n all that piping. Sounds nice
Agreed!
Joel, you should've made a video about the install of that reat strut bar. I've always wondered how it's done.
I actually have footage of it! I'll make it just for you
@@accoRding2Joel lol appreciated
I actually like that it's not too loud still. Do you notice any faster spool or throttle pick up with this compared to oem?
Same! Not that I can tell on the spool or throttle

Catted because of the EPA

@accoRding2Joel thanks for the operating temp tip.
Absolutely!
Great job

Gracias papi! Throwback bar!
@@accoRding2Joel it sounds really good brother… 😎
Little by little!
How'd you decide on the RV6 instead of another brand?
I had it on my Accord 2.0t and I loved it
No check engine light ?? And do you feel a difference.... more Torque??
No check engine light!
Butt dyno says yes
@@accoRding2Joel
What gains did you see?
Dyno video coming in the next couple days!
@@accoRding2Joel
Yeah baby!
Is this stock exhaust with just replacing down pipe?
Correct
Should have done a before and after bro.
There's a bunch of videos on the stock exhaust, there would be no point in adding to that I thought?
@According To Joel I have a FL5 myself, looking forward to some exhaust options.
@@rickeybradley2635 have you seen the Apexi one... my favorite so far
downpipe to stock catback right?
Yes
catted downpipe?
Yes, only option now.
@@accoRding2Joel My fl5 is arriving soon. I’m curious if I need to
tune the car with the catted dp?
No need!
