    With CSS you kinda have to be careful with learning libraries before learning vanilla CSS as its way easier to transfer from plain old CSS to a framework like tailwindcss or bootstrap than vice versa. I love the vids though, they were actually the convincing I needed to chase my dreams and learn web dev full time. TY

    Love it!!!! ❤️ very motivational! Not sure if you would like the idea, but maybe give some study tips on learning to code, or best coding habits to develop 😊 that would be an awesome video ❤️

    17:00 The Bootstrap issue here is a typo on line 2: “class-“ has an extra character. The same code should work the same for both Bootstrap 4 & 5.
    Not sure about the hamburger button since we can’t see the full HTML tag; it might be missing info or closed improperly.

    I hope Angela updates her web design bootcamp soon. Getting through bootstrap is a nightmare. I paused the class during that module and am planning to come back and finish it after I complete Python

    I’m taking a frontend boot camp and I’ve just finished learning about bootstrap so I totally understand the frustration from using 4 and 5. It can be so annoying debugging code but it’s the best feeling in the world when you finally get it right.

    Would you be able to do a video on what languages we should practice for future job interviews? Or which languages we should practice and learn after HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?

    A few comments- first, I love the views you have! Second, Thai tea looked so good! Third, I learned what a hamburger menu is! 😀 Great video. 👏🏼👏🏼😊

    Val your UA-cam videos are awesome, inspiring us slightly crazy non-degree programmers. Would you make a video of your projects that helped secure that first job?

    Hi sorry for the amount of questions I'm asking you. I'm new to programming however I'm creating a newspaper website for my mom. Just a small project. Now this is going to sound stupid but do I need to create my own api?

    • @kiwidll4018
      @kiwidll4018 Рік тому +2

      Why are you asking questions to someone that is just learning CSS, the API knowledge is out of her scope, and you are 100% asking the wrong person. But to answer your question yes if you want to customize it but if there is a newspaper website with public API that you can use that would be fine as well. On top of it all, you might need to look into another language because API for the most part is going to require some kind of database.

      @@Yangatom393 Would reccomend supabase or firebase for database hosting and they are quite easy to get into and set up. plus they give you other extra implementations like on firebase you can use SSO for google and stuff.
