- Hi friends!
I thought it'd be fun to vlog and take you along with me to work and throughout my work day. Some days I'm more busier than usual, but on this day, I had balance and was able to be productive both for my mind and body.
I just get a small commission if you choose to buy any of the products I mentioned with the links I have here 😊

Your videos inspire me to keep coding especially when I feel overwhelmed or burnt out. Thanks for reminding me why I code everyday and to never give up.💕
A year into coding and I still battle imposter syndrome and struggle to talk comfortably about what I can do and coding in general. How did you overcome imposter syndrome or begin getting comfortable talking about coding? Maybe you were a go-getter from the start and never struggled with that. But if you did, I’d really appreciate some tips! Thank you Valerie!💖
I love your questions Shannon!
I did have imposter syndrome before and quick tips from me are:
- just be confident (what are they going to do? Call you out? No, people don’t usually do that)
- just say what you can do and if you can’t do it yet, then learn it
- surround yourself with people who are where you want to be (if it’s Software engineers then great, surround yourself with them and pick up on their jargon)
- I will make a more detailed video on this sometime!
@@BABEENGINEER Thank you for always answering my questions! I'll be sure to keep these in mind. In your future video, can you detail what one could do to make SWE friends or meet other developers? Always appreciate your insight Val!❣
I'm in my late 20s looking into software engineering and how to get there and ran into your channel! Thank you for all your advice and a peek into your life! It's time for me to hustle! PS - I'm also from the Bay Area and I applaud you for your commute LOL! That's a drive!
Ty! 🥰
i love your vids i hope you make more soon :') theyre the only thing motivating me through this bootcamp
Thank you! You’re motivating me to make more videos!
Hi Val, Thanks for sharing your day. Always inspired to self cultivate
🌸🌸🤗
I loved this video! I also really loved the journaling you do. I’m going to try that! 😊 Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you so much Don 🥰
love the video that girl vibe is something i would kill for!!!!
Yay🥰🥰
I’m near the end of my sprint and it’s no bueno. Love to see a video on dealing with setbacks as a developer. But this was a good video!
Productive and Motivating, thanks for the video !
🙌🌷🌷🌷Tysm!
Recently discovered you and your amazing
You really set me on the right track and give me motivation thanks
Ty Ty! Love your comment 🥰
I would like to ask for your advice. I'm a dropout student due to financial issue, I will be waiting for 1 year to be attend University again.
As of now, I want to learn by myself, but I don't know where to start. Can I ask what to learn first in software engineering, and where to learn for free?
It would be nice if a step by step information (like you need to know components of computer first, then second is the syntax, character, etc)😁
Pardon for Grammar😁
Have you struggled w depression and if so how do you work through that and keep being productive.
Queen!!!!!
Hey! Love your videos!
I would really appreciate your advice here.
I'm finishing my BSc in Chemical Engineering this semester and I'm looking to transition into IT. I plan on doing an MSc in Engineering Management (and learn coding on my own) or a BProf (Bachelor of Profession) in Computer Science Operational Engineering (basically an easier and shorter Hungarian CS degree that has a one year long internship integrated into it).
I'm afraid the BProf degree won't be recognised outside of Hungary so I might as well go for the other degree. On the other hand I'm afraid not having any sort of CS degree would be even worse. I would like to work in either Germany or Austria in the future. What's your take on this? Engineering Management MSc or CS BProf?
Thanks for your kind comment SteelBro!
Take this with a grain of salt since I am from the US, and not Germany or Austria.
- Check with German or Austrian software developers on LinkedIn if BProf degree from Hungary is recognized in Germany or Austria
- Is the internship from BProf CS degree a software development internship or some other kind of internship? (it would be really nice if you got work experience as a programmer from this internship as it would help you in your career)
- Sounds like if the BProf CS degree has coding internship then I would go with that (because in my humble opinion, experience and skills are more important than a degree)
- If MSC in Engineering Management is recognized in the countries you want to work in, that would be good, but make sure that you have actually work experience as a developer on your resume too
@@BABEENGINEER Thank you so much ☺️
I like your videos thank you 🥰

Hello Good day po, I am student of Information Technology and we are conducting an interview to a software developers who create a systems. Can we interview for the short sort of questions? Thank you for answering.
Here's our question:
1.What is the name of your previous system that you worked or create?
2. What is the paradigm of your system?
3. Description of the system and kind of use?
