A great movie. McAvoy managed to grab me by the collar, drag me through a rollercoaster of feelings and leave me back on my knees, punched, broken, heartbleeding and crying. What an actor...
watching the movie i was like what an asshole (the scene with the underage girl made me furious) and i ended up crying for him. but the very last second of the film was like what an ASSHOLE again. hahaha he did fooled me. excellent movie.
I've always said I could listen to James McAvoy read the phone book (when there was one) and I would sit riveted to his every word. Not not because of the accent but because of the clear intelligence and smooth ease with which he speaks.
So, finally these nice people made me watch the film... Well, I really didn´t like the beginning, gradually it was getting better (perhaps I got used to it ;) and the end was... great :) I loved this version of "Creep", perfect! Anyway, James did an amazing job and I wish him to have a lot of interesting roles, he can be personally proud of, no matter if the viewers like it or not ;)
I cried, laughed, fell in love and got angry for/with Bruce. I could not forgive him for his crimes, but you kinda want to get drunk with him, make him a nice dinner, spank him for his sins (😜) and take him to the (right) doctor all at the same time... Mcavoy is brilliant to a criminal point. Well played Mr. Mcavoy, mission accomplished.
That movie is incredible. It has so many elements to it. Comedy, mystery with a little bit of suspense thrown into it. It's all fun and games in the beginning, then it slowly dwells into madness, which is a great take on a movie. For some time Blitz was my favorite movie, but filth raised the bar.
James McAvoy is so articulate in explaining every role he does but his personal family experience has certainly influenced his performance in Filth. I thought his story about Joy was hilarious. My brother and I can never do anything serious without laughing - including choosing our Mum's coffin. - so I get it. Fabulous film and a great actor.
no it wasn't the dog scene that was with his sister. the scene with his sister was the scene in the flower shop, where he was interrogating her about a suspect that he just saw her talking with, who had just left the shop a few minutes beforehand.
Dear Gods of Hollywood, please give James McAvoy a role as a romantic loverboy while he is still young and good-looking. Enough of these dark films please!
La scomparsa di Eleonor Rigby ❤ The last station Inside i'm dancing Anche in questi film ha ruoli meno cruenti anche se i miei due film preferiti sono Filth e Split.
This lady is so lacking in eloquence, it makes me ashamed to share an alma-mater with her. If someone could tell me how she got this job while retaining such a talent deficit I’d be greatly obliged

James McAvoy is brilliant in this movie.
James is a brilliant actor and speaker.
Filth is an utterly fantastic accomplishment in film.
Movie did make me cry... So Guess McAvoy did what he wanted with the movie :)
Anushka Dias he's most certainly an insightful craftsman for a director to work with.

This is brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing!

They make Filth seem like such a light hearted romp
well, the last question though, I also really want him to play another romantic film.

Then watch atonement, starter for 10, the pool, wanted
I'm really not into the lover boy prototype...different men turn me on much more
He IS a loverboy in everything, what do you mean?😜 Also,he already did that..He is just like the director said. Where James is,there is a good story.
Penelope?!
