dcibrass Thanks! Once I saw that flame, I had to get the shot. Great seeing you again in Allentown, and looking forward to some more awesome dcibrass vids!
Iccarus72 Thanks :) Glad you're enjoying the vids. I just hope to keep doing exactly what I'm doing...even if I fall "behind the times." In fact, Rance Costa was pretty much doing exactly what I'm doing back in 2010, at the same resolution and with great audio quality...and I still think his vids hold up to the best out there! So I'm pretty much just picking up where he left off in 2010. ua-cam.com/video/ZV31SToh_MM/v-deo.html
Thank you for this video. I would rather you kept the camera focused on the DM without all the movement. The horn line isn't doing anything and it's dark. The DM is the show at this point.
+Matthew Parker Thanks for watching. This vid is definitely not my finest camerawork! It was my last hornline after 2 long nights of filming. By this point, I was pretty fatigued... just enjoying the music, pointing the camera at stuff... Wondering how far I should drive before stopping for dinner and sleep. Not thinking about the camera. I'm glad I even remembered to turn the microphone on.
I am using a rode svmp though as I've said elsewhere, there are options, including newer models from rode and standalone field recorders that may give comparable sound. Settings...I would say depends on the camera. I'd just say experiment and figure out what sounds best.
Dang, that DM is amazing. Probably one of the best I've seen in my opinion.
Dominick Neville Yes, she IS amazing!!
+Dominick Neville Quite literally the best I've ever seen. In 30+ years.
+Brian Haag Willie Veenstra of The Bluecoats rivals..but doesn't beat.
The drum major is phenomenal!!
Once I heard Grainger at the beginning I cried
The way they play it should be a clinic on how to tune those chords. I'd make sure my guys heard this if I was still in college ensemble.
Sound is so crisp and clean. Beautiful 😊
Horkstow Grange .-. so beautiful :D
Mahler's second! ughhhhh. amazing!!!!!
Whoa! Amazing! Jim Ott indeed! Thanks for posting!
Lincolnshire Posy is one of my favorites that I’ve ever played in concert and I’m so happy the Cadets played this movement

nathan snyder Thanks a ton. I hope you will be a part of it!
I feel like the horn feature would be better if they had something other than a intermediate Yamaha horn
I literally spit my food out around 3:08 ... I was not ready for that and it was awesome

Absolutely stunning! Any chance you think you will get around to Crown? :)
andrewhenders Thanks! And yes, there should be one soon.
Wow
I know you said it before, but I can't figure out where. What microphone and settings do you use to capture all this chill-inducing sound??

Any Crown videos coming anytime soon?
