Underrated hornline here. They deserve more love. What a sound!
And possibly the youngest hornline in the top 5. Lots of high school students. With these results, just imagine how they'll sound if most of those vets keep coming back until they age out :)
That's incredible! I'm most definitely looking forward to what they put together in the near future. Maybe next year I'll be able to join in (I would this season but by the time I get callback info from BC the Cavies will most likely have spots filled)

Gahhh every time the low brass centers on the note at 3:08, I get chills. Great ballad from a great show. Awesome video as always.

Oh my gosh, I love Doxology, it's amazing..
The indoor take of the ballad gave me full body chills. Holy crap I feel so good right now. Thanks for all the content you create
Man, I love that last part where they are inside the building with the reverb at the end. I think that the only thing they were missing on that last chord were some notes outside the major 7th cord; maybe like a minor 3rd and a minor 7th on top of the chord to really give it that odd space chord feel. It would totally be of out of place but make it soooooo interesting. If they would do that and than do like a wave from one end of the line in the drill to the other end while each doing a quick 360 degree turn around to really amplify that crescendo I think that would just be like the one little moment (if no other) worth the watch. And than maybe put one or two more baris on a fifth of the chord to just drive the fucking point home while using a deep soft synth bass on the root note on top of the whole corp.

For a moment I almost didn't recognize Doxology. In my marching band, we play that.

No media pass, but whether or not you can go in the circle depends on the corps and sometimes the night.

Xavian Clay first piece is called doxology, second is a bit from "funeral procession for queen Mary", and the third is "Elegy for Dunkirk"
