What a difference the stairs make and the fencing just frames the outside beautifully. We’ve all had that bathroom moment , where expletives are required but it won’t defeat you…… now getting excited about project pooch…. If when he/she arrives you then find a need for a dog/house sitter to cover for future vacations….👋😁
Fence looks fab. Gutted the shower valve plate didn’t fit. Could you get a metal worker to make another or adjust the one you have? Renovations never go smoothly do they! We are at the start of our final phase of work on our home, I’ve been putting it off for 2 years 😂

Looks smashing. The side fence makes a huge difference to the privacy and I can understand how Maxine feels when she said “feels like ours”. We can’t open up our stairs but now I am on the hunt for nicer handrails. See ……you are a social influencer 😂😂
Haha, love it “nozzles” on the fence post; the technical term is finials. Really enjoy watching the work progressing but can’t fathom how much code inspection you have to have/pay for.

If I’m honest I wasn’t keen on the staircase as the guys were doing it then after Barry went upstairs then came down I liked them once you could see into the house it changed the look. Yes I like them. We had a house with stairs in our front room sort of closed in had small gaps unfortunately our cats didn’t know what the whiskers were for and almost got his head stuck through the gaps so we opened them up and wow what a difference we left them open and kept our handrail. Nice decision Maxine ❤❤
Can you not file around the shower fixture to make it fit if it’s only out by mm Barry, I did feel for you we always have issues when doing stuff. Must say your house is beautiful now, who needs a million dollar house when yours is so beautiful ❤❤
Thanks for sharing - I was worried that putting the fence across the back would obstruct the view but it's worked out well IMHO. I also like the new bannisters. Am I dreaming or did you say you were getting a dog ? Have you watched "Marshalls diary" from Mr David and Mr Ian? :)

Not that easy the holes have a collar to be waterproof and reaming it would let the water in

Get the holes made bigger , there must be a tool you could use to do that, better than it being too big x
The holes have a big collar preventing enlarging them , our remedy we will share soon
