Dude I bought a sunbird and the same shit . But I pulled the motor and fixed and replaced in one weekend took the floors up and pulled the gas tank out and put stringers in . Put 10 gallon plastic gas tank in where the spare battery went . All new seats redone all the front cushions in the open bow . Keep up the process

How bad of a job was the floor to do? I have a soft spot in front of the battery location jump seat and where the battery mounts as well is soft

I haven’t done it yet but of course with anything fiberglass it’ll be a big job. If you’ve got one soft spot, you can expect to have to tear basically everything out. You’d be surprised how much that stuff spreads.

what happen to the boat? did you sell it?

Yes I sold it. Literally almost everything was ruined on it. I ended up buying another in better condition.
