Perfect Keto Donuts (Using Keto Chow)
Ingredients:
4 large eggs
4 oz unsalted butter, melted
2 T granulated sweetener
2 serving Keto Chow (Cake Donut flavor)
4-6 T heavy cream
2 T coconut flour
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
4 T cream cheese, softened
4 T Almond flour
Grease silicone donut molds with butter or non-stick spray. Preheat your oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, softened cream cheese, and sweetener until smooth and well combined. • Stir in 4 T of cream. Add Keto Chow, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and baking soda to the wet ingredients. Mix until you have a smooth, thick batter. Avoid overmixing. Spoon the batter into the molds, filling each mold about halfway. Spread the batter evenly. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the donuts are puffed, golden, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the molds for 5 minutes, then remove them and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Strawberry & Maple Glaze
Ingredients:
1/4 cup powdered sweetener
1-2 tsp heavy cream
1/2 tsp strawberry extract or maple extract
A drop of red food coloring for strawberry
Whisk together the powdered sweetener and cream, until it reaches a smooth and spreadable consistency. Stir in the extract. Add food coloring if you'd like color. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze, or spoon it over the tops. Let the glaze set for 5-10 minutes before serving. Frosts 4 Donuts.

I am so happy to see this is NOT made with almond flour, but made healthier (for me), & cheaper, with coconut flour! Thank you so much Victor!
It does have almond flour in it... But for most of my recipes, you could substitute a quarter of the amount of the almond flour for coconut flour and maybe add a little bit more liquid. Just get it to the texture that I get to.

For the apron…for purposes of filming on the counter, where it is works. But for full body, you might want it higher.

A small offset spatula is the tool you need for smoothing the tops. Smear a bit of oil on the blade to keep it from dragging too much.

You could always pipe your dough into each round…if you don’t have a piping bag just put the dough into a baggie and snip a corner off. Easy peasy😊

❤Looks good! You're supposed to put some lemon juice or vinegar or buttermilk to make the soda activate..you could put 1 tsp in your HWC to make buttermilk...but then you might have 10 donuts. Thank you! There's enough of the cream of tartar in the baking powder to still activate the extra soda. They overdo it a little bit to make sure, so they can push their expiration date out a little. That's why they puffed up. Cooling them in the oven should make them stay a little bit puffier also. Thank you! That's what I was thinking with the apron. 😁 Thank you so much! 🙏🏻✝️
I've made donuts. My dough has been more loose, tho, so i put the batter in a ziplock bag and cut the corner and squeeze into pan. Mine turned out beautiful.
I'm gonna try that next time. See if I can make a yeast rise in them too 😁

I ordered several packets. Can’t wait to try it and the new SALTT flavors (I bought 2 of the 3). Not a huge fan of the 3rd flavor. I have a nonstick donut pan that I will use. Haven’t used it in years (also a great thing to do with it is bagels).

I didn’t have the Cake Donut flavor but I used the Birthday Cake one.
I also didn’t have cream cheese, so I left it out.
Plus I used my own flour mix, Miracle flour and Einkorn flour.
So I would say this is a foolproof recipe! 🙌

HEY VICTOR....hope you and family had a GREAT Blessed Thanksgiving.....not sure about that troph , its not yellow...LOL...I LOVE you used coconut flour I have NEVER tried Keto Chow I think I will try and order it with your code I love the flavors they put out but not sure of some of the ingredients but I will try it....Use a small off-set spatula (amazon) very useful tool for smoothing icing, etc

"... they're not perfect little donuts, but they're nice little donuts .... they're protein-filled little donuts." 😆 since you asked ...@ the apron logo, my suggestion is .... shrink the fonts by 50% (it'll still be very legible), make 'Southern' curved along the top of the 'circle', then "KETO" straight across underneath it, and position the whole logo up on the bib area.
I can't resist the urge to add 'Kitchen' curved along the bottom of the circle... Southern Keto Kitchen, but I know, that would alter your original channel name, might get confusing. But from a creative perspective, it would look MAHvelous! But if you don't want to add 'Kitchen' you could still balance out the bottom circle curve by adding a few small graphics like a row of alternating forks and knives .

Good video thanks bud, I appreciate all the ideas you send over. Those molds are pretty handy, you can also do an everything bagel in them, there is a hamburger bun recipe I use from 'Low Carb Abode' that makes a great base for a bagel, I make a big batch and they freeze and toast pretty good too. This donut recipe is a keeper, good one to have in your back pocket.. some days a man just needs a dang donut! You did get me in trouble though, my wife walked by and she loves your kitchen, she said - see thats what I want. so looks like i'll be getting new cabinets haha..

Oooh I have an idea. Use a small scoop and put small balls of dough in a circle touching each other to try and make those fancy donuts. I forget what they’re called tho. I’ll have to figure the name out and report back. Great video :) love the accurate thumbnail pic as well :)

I can’t wait to order the keto chow before I make these donuts would I substitute like a whey protein one for one or what other kind of protein can I use and in what quantity?

Well, that's kind of tricky. A lot of the whey protein powders will work good and some beef powders as well. They use both in their products. I would try to find something with similar ingredients to what they list, so you don't need to add any extra ingredients like Xanthan gum or acacia gum to it. They already have all that mixed in, which is why it works so well in foods. Here's the link on their website that tells you exactly how to make your own and I would try to find a powder that matches this. I have used ISOPure successfully in some recipes, but it's hard to find one that doesn't have maltodextrin or a lot of ingredients I don't like. www.ketochow.xyz/keto-chow-recipe
you cant just sub a protein powder for keto chow... its already got flavoring, sweetener, protein powder etc in it...
i believe victor has a donut recipe that doesnt use keto chow... try that one instead of this one if youre trying to sub the kc
well I have a lot of this whey protein that I purchased for different recipes that I ran into when I first started this and ended up that many of those recipes are really bad so I haven’t been able to use it so I was hoping to be able to but being that this recipe you’re doing is dependent upon that keto chow I’ll just go with that I really didn’t wanna have to wait to do the order but I just ordered so I’ll just have to hold off and when it gets here I’ll make those delicious donuts again thank you so much for allowing me to be a dessert addict and not have to feel bad about it
I noticed that they have many other flavors could I utilize those making these donuts or would I be ruining the recipe?
I just noticed that somehow when I’m logging into UA-cam with my phone it’s utilizing different logins I have a couple different logins for UA-cam so hopefully I’m not confusing anybody I’m gonna have to sort that out.

I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine to use this recipe to make little muffins or even a little 'sheet cake' (bake a little lower and slower for the latter ... so it gets evenly cooked in the middle). Just an idea!

I really wish I liked the keto chow.
I tried them a few months ago, and the smell is absolutely amazing, but the taste is very bland.....
I made the mistake of trying one with their butter recipe, and it was completely awful, had to pitch it.
Have not used the rest of the sample pack I got after the butter incident.
I like it with heavy cream. I use about 5 oz heavy cream, the keto chow and then fill it up to about 15 oz with warm water. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and that's what I like best
