Aah, I remember beating this boss. I also used to play bard a lot, but it's kinda rough. Though it's a really old game, it feels the same everytime I play it. Also nice catch phrase, lol.
They really kind of screwed up with increasingly tougher arena champion fights. Once you beat the Jeti (I was struggling so hard with bard),you can go ahead and just beat 5-6more ahead of you. Also cheers
Honestly only a few bosses are a pain in the ass here. Jetty, Cyborgs and maybe a couple more like painbringer and knight. Others are... pathetic Like once you beat Jetty, you can easily just go ahead and blast maybe 4bosses ahead of him (They shouldn't be that high on the list lmao) But yeah it was tough. Shouted my enemies down until much later I bought a decent guitar with nice damage.
I dunno why but playin in sword and sandals 3 on flashpoint i won ultratus very easy, i had so much resist to every spell so instead of dealing dmg its converted in armor so... When he dealt magic dmg to me it was + to armor instead of -
Its chainsaws can deal up to 2k damage in one hit, easily obliterating Jack in 2 hits (maybe even 3 if Omega used quicks or had bad RNG). And since those chainsaws are guns, he could fire from any point in the arena. But it decided to spam magic to little avail; yes, its' Electrical Storm deals normally more damage than Bhaargle's Winter's Core, assuming both are completely unresisted, but the difference is small (900 DMG vs ~790 DMG) for how far apart they are from each other, and its' Chillbolts are a joke by comparison. You know what makes it even more ridiculous? The fact that NPCs in this game don't have cooldown on their spells, apparently. So they will spam offensive spells, most likely, as long as they have mana to burn. If they did have cooldowns, Omega would fire one Electrical Storm, one Chillbolt, and then use some support spells like Command or Impervious, and then fire at you with his chainsaw guns. In retrospect, it's hilarious. Ultratus Omega had all the tools to make him a terryfing final boss, like... I think every final boss in Swords and Sandals, and while it is still extremely strong, especially if you boss-rush and fight it while being several levels lower, the AI routines can severely handcuff it if you're prepared (like Jack was with Lightning/Frost Resists), making him not that hard. Also add on glitch in earlier versions that can increase your talents up to infinite amounts or Whirlwind being an cheat code if you're lucky, and Ultratus Omega goes from a terryfing monster fitting for Swords and Sandals game's final boss, to a merely strong boss
@@meatbug8611 no problem. But stats are clearly shown in the video at 0:15 52base charisma, 122in total because of rare equipment. Magicka is just lvl6 but is 35 once again because of armor. Bard is a glass cannon, so armor and magicka are there to give an edge and improve survivability. Cheers
The only cheat was the talent point glitch, with items would give more and more of them every time I checked the stats. I said goodbye to those items and returned the original values with cheat engine xd.
