@cute danger No problem. The basic steps would be removing a few screws in the front of the blaster and removing the orange piece at the front of the shell that goes under the barrel. You don't need to take the whole thing apart, it can slide out once the shell is partially open to save time. Either trim the top off as shown roughly on one of the pictures in the etsy listing or just leave it out. Next slide the barrel on over the barrel of the blaster and use one of the included set screws to secure it through the hole in the bottom. Make sure you can open and close the breach and you should be good to go. If it doesn't catch adjust it forward about 1 mm or so. The knockout is a lot like the Kronos where you have so many people making new kits for it and so many people are making mods with it; each person putting their own spin on the mod
It's just a fun little pistol and easy to disassemble and reassemble. Add on the fact that it's only 10 bucks, and it's a great first blaster for people to explore modding with because if you break it, you're only out 10 bucks.
I would personally avoid the AK 18kg spring for the Knockout because it does not fit the plunger system as they send you a Kronos spring, and if you do manage to shoehorn it in there, it will be ridiculous to prime and very hard to get it to catch. My suggestion would be to get a K25 spring and cut it half a coil shorter than the original spring, on a 8-9" barrel, this is achieving 200+ fps, but is a very solid prime. Also note that drilling the top of the plunger system to get to the screw that holds the plunger together so you can fit the spring in, will take away any of the last remaining plunger seal...
That as a cosmetic mod looks nice, but the brass breach is under perfroming because there is not enough brass, but the stock spring is way good enough to get way more power Drac. The breach will open with more weight on it if you beef up the return springs. Look for an upcoming video from Bradley Phillips to see the true potential of the Knockout where the breach retains its full function and its hand cannon power.

I haven't seen a mod guide, but I have seen a couple people post images of their mag fed knockouts on the Nerf subreddit. One person slapped a raider magwell on the side. Another person made it take half-dart mags that holds onto the magazine through friction fit.
Does anybody else's knockout feel just not right? Cause the trigger on mine feels slightly more difficult to pull than it should, and also it makes a odd kinda spring sound, but all wrapped up just doesn't feel and sound right.

Well, my Knockout just now modded itself...it actually blasted the air restricter out with a round and now shoots even harder. Wish i had chronograph, but I'm boasting holes in foam cups at 10ft, before i had to be 6ft away.
Just a tip tho.. It will eventually blast its plunger out if you dont pad it. Cap. Xavier has a vid on how to do that. I get thet it wont blast the tube out but it will eventually break.

Your bass my be too short drac I had mine hitting 160fps with the stock spring using 6" of 7/32 and and 8" of 9/16.
I built one for Bradley Phillips, it is hitting a solid 180fps, 9" of 17/32 brass on a stock spring. He will up load a video soon.
