    Thank you. I love making home made treats. The cost of dog biscuits have soared to double digits. These are better for the puppies!

    Thank you so much I really really appreciate you showing me this recipe. Shop brought dog treats are extortionist for what you get. I’ve subscribed and I’ve given you a thumbs up too

      Yes, they certainly can be! This gives a nice alternative to store bought, especially for dogs with special diet needs.

      Can I use raw meat purée that an add to a mold an out in the oven I don’t want them hard or crunchy but soft . Will this be okay? @@serenitydogtraining-twoharbors

    • @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors
      @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors  Рік тому +1

      @@trishameloling2367 You can adapt the recipe to whatever works best for your dog. Because they homemade, with fresher items like raw meat, you'll want to be sure to keep treats refrigerated or frozen until needed. With softer treats they won't keep as long as drier ones.

    These moles are a excellent thing to love them. I have some myself this thing that was invented. You don't know what you're missing if you don't have these moods? I'm planning on buying some more.

    Thanks for sharing. I've made these a few times, but wonder if there is an easy way to remove them. Mine do not come out as easily as yours do!

      If they don't come out easily, I will first try baking them a little longer. They usually pop out nicely when they're drier. I've also sometimes tweaked the ingredients a bit by adding more egg and/or reducing liquids.

      Yes. You may need to adjust consistency and/or baking time. Just play around with it a bit. Your dog will be happy to eat any failed batches! Mine always are, lol!

    When you say Blender, do you mean a food processor? Do you have a video for bone or ? shaped cutters? I can never bet the consistency right (always too gummy or something). Really appreciated your mentioning the Consistency for this recipe.

    • @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors
      @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors  Рік тому +2

      Here, I used a hand blender. A regular blender works too. I imagine a food processor would also get the job done as long as it can get a smooth texture.
      You can use any shape silicone mold. You'll just need to play around with baking time to find what works.
      If they are too gummy, try baking a little longer or letting them stay in oven as it cools down.

    How about with beef liver and salmon?? How much flour would I use, etc

    • @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors
      @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors  Рік тому +1

      I've done chicken livers, salmon, baby food, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, bananas, and peanut butter. The sky is the limit with this since you choose what goes in it. Just adjust consistency with flour and/or water as needed and adjust baking time if needed.

    what if I wanted to use cookie cutters how much flour and can i use almond flour

    • @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors
      @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors  Рік тому +1

      I've not used a cookie cutter, but I imagine if you just adjust the flour to make it more playdough consistency it'd work.
      Almond flour might be too rich for a dog. I'd check with your vet to see if that would be okay to use.

    • @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors
      @serenitydogtraining-twoharbors  2 роки тому +4

      I bake them until they are dry and crunchy. You can store them in the refrigerator for one to two weeks or in the freezer for a few months. If you make yours a little softer, you'll need to reduce the length of time you can store them.
      I prefer to keep mine in the freezer and just take out a handful to use for the day.

    Those eggs look store bought. NEVER FEED SHELLS FROM THE STORE to your dog's. Farm fresh is great. Just not store bought. Also use whole wheat flower or some other type. Much healthier for your animals

      I never fed Baby Food to my own children... because even back then... there was LEAD in the Baby Food...
      Yesterday it was on the NEWS... that the FDA is cracking down on "How much Lead" can be in Baby Food... I thought that was unreal... especially how expensive Baby Food is today.
      The WHITE Tuna has the most Mercury in it... I'm sure little bits of Tuna isn't bad... but people need to know about the Mercury in it.
      How I found that out... Years ago, I had a little Cafe and was advised NOT to have TUNA on my Menu so my customers would not get sick!!!
      That scared me...

      If anyone is unsure, then check with your veterinarian. 😊
