Swathi Kiranam all songs by Vani Jayaram madam extremely difficult for today's singers& many cannot sing even one minute in that high clarity pitch include Shivani Bhavani, Vaishnavi Bargavi, Telimanchu Karigindi, Pranathi Pranathi etc. to know that level.

it is not that Chitra ji couldn't hit the note...I think she has forgotten the tune at that moment where the note goes high suddenly. It is after all Vani Jairam's song who obviously knows and remembers the tune.

Interesting fact came today to me -- Janaki amma sang in Sankarabaranam and Chitra Amma sang in Swatikrinam, but Vani amma won national award best singer for both moveis!

U r correct. Nobody can beat Vani ma pure classical or raga based songs. All her 3 national awards are for classical songs from the movies focused on classical music. In national award winning songs list, her 3 songs stands tall and she is the only singer to win that award for very difficult songs. Other singers have at least 1 award for simple song (given just for namesake).
