I'll never forget 12-27-86. Thats the day they let me out of jail! And thousands of miles from this party, but went home and listened to some Dead, etc!!!! I was primed for the spring 87 festivities!! Jerry was healthy again! So I picked up where I left off, kinda like the band and Jerry did, the next March at Hampton with a whole bunch of other people. Missed these shows and RFK, but Hampton was a blast! Mid 80's were good years to party. Thank God for the Dead then, the current stuff in the 80's really sucked big time, (music, tv, etc.) The band that was the only real entertainment back then.

This is just so awesome. It’s amazing there are so many videos and recordings. God bless the tapers and the band for allowing it!

These videos are literally bringing me to tears. Thanks again KT. Too much. All I need is a beer & some headphones. I watched the Baby Blue from 1/29/87 about 20 times last night. My non Dead head wife was laughing at me as I was wiping tears from my eyes. Ha ha. Great stuff. My youth.

I hear ya Eric H. !!! To see Jerry and Brent again , and the whole band together, is quite magical for me also. Wow! When Jerry left us (for just a little bit now), the internet was a infant, relative to today, and we really had none of this super cool UA-cam videos and audios. Heck there was really no place to look up information about anything that happened in current events besides word of mouth, maybe, or a book or something. Now here, after some 23+ years later, I am finally learning so much that I didnt know at the time. I mean that was cool at the time because I wanted to stay green and new sort of Fuller the live shows. I just went To see what was going to happen next, With out a bunch of pre conceived ideas or knowledge of what "mighty swell" happen. Kind of like watching a rented movie without reading the synopsis beforehand. I got to just experience it for myself.
Anyway, I am finally starting to resolve, in my own mind and being, what actually happened. I actually took years off from even listening to the music to "de-program" a little bit.
These days I am having a lot of fun listening to really great stuff!
Thanks for the miracle, we can call it! Peace, Love to all.

Thank you for that. As far as I cared they could've played day job every 3rd song & I would've been thankful to get that. no offense or criticism intended. just joy & Jerry's back with the boys.

Hey Bob, I think you fucked up Saint of Circumstance. Jerry seemed to know what he was doing! Pretty funny and we get a French lesson out of it too
