I was blessed to do parties for Clarence in Florida for a number of years...we actually talked about this show! I spent a bunch of New Years eves with Clarence in the late 90s and early 2000s . The most down to Earth rock star ever....This is great..ty so much!
This takes me back. I remember the show because this was my first New Year's Eve show. I flew out from Phoenix Arizona to see them and I still have the stub
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Dario Finley i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
great show from rocky start on get in the groove 2 dude from Springsteen on sax oh they were getting down brents spastic keyboard organ playing great show thanks 4 upload dead live on 2017!!!
I love these late 80s shows because I was going to a lot of them in Worcester/Hartford/Providence/MSG. It would be years later before I go to my first Oakland show once I moved to SF.
I was there saw MSU beat USC IN Pasadena the day before.my mistake was to eat liquid acid from my hand many, many, times.don't remember a thing except sitting all the wah back trying not to lose it.serious reality break.!!!!good show I suppose?
Had a similar experience at RFK, was walking laps around the upper level because it seemed to calm me down, but the next thing I knew I woke up on the floor of the bathroom with about 20 people standing around me, thank God it was a dry corner
After Jerry that was it for me now I just waste away my time watching these old wonderful shows ! I’m so grateful & half dead over it but in the end I’ll b with him
I was at this one. I was at pretty much all of the SF Bay Area shows because I was a volunteer with the Haight-Ashbuty Free Medical Clinic - Rock Medicine Section. We liked the Dead shows because they were the calmest and everyone in the Clinic was at Dead Head at some level. I was a mild case. I mean I liked them, even had the road manager's ex as a patient at my practice, but I didn't go ape or obsess about it. I mean, a couple people joined the clinic just as a way to schmooze their way into the Family. I never respected people who did that sort of thing, Now that I live out of state and am a married old man, I don't do much on New Year's Eve. But listening to or watching some GD around this time is mandatory as it was once a regular part of my life for so long.
Jerry dialed in for this Terrapin. Captain of the ship! Awesome drums>space>the Wheel I'm starting a New Years show run marathon as we head into 2025. I'm going to try to watch as many as I can then listen to the rest. Jus finished 86 and 88! Any suggestion where i should head next? May your 2025 be kind! Keep seeking all thats still unsung
I don't know what these guys got into before the show, but they're clearly hanging on for dear life throughout. It appears that Bobby is having trouble getting his fingers to work, Jerry is trying to keep his face from sliding off, and that the drummers are dealing with their percussion devices continuously turning into snakes and jello.
I’m. crying over Jerry because that was the last year I was with him ! I should never have left him , maybe he would still b alive today if I stayed in his life ! I’ll always feel guilty about that fact ! 🥲😢😥😓😰😱🤯
Brent told me he never felt part of the band it took Jerry to do something about that ! Bobby a little bit jealous of his youth plus taking some of Jerry’s attention away from him !
favorite dead show of all time right here. grew up with a bootleg tape of this show.
I was going to dig into some 82 but the Bass Amps already warm and since you recommend it.. I'm jumping in Brother!!
I was there! Incredible
